Guest Reviews
- Shan (9/5): - Great location, clean and serviceable. Paola gave us some great recommendations. As with any close quarter living the noises are something you either are used to or not. We were not. That isn't the fault of the property just something to be aware of.
- Anuska (10/5): Comfortable and very central - The location was very central. The property was very spacious with great facilities. The patrons leaving the night club across the road in the early hours of the morning. So bring ear plug to sleep.
- Jadwiga (9/5): -
- Amie (6/5): Great location, spacious rooms, a lot of outside noise and bad smell in kitchen - Location was great, walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops, site seeing. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was modern. There was an awful smell (sewerage) coming from a unit above the fridge. Which made the whole communal space smell.
The outside noise was a lot. Underground club across the road, which meant party goers all night long, bottles smashing, music etc.
The single bedroom had some sort of walkway behind it, which had women screaming sporadically.
- Adrian (8/5): Excellent location. Good value. Great base for a stay in Florence. - The location was excellent, within easy walking of all the attractions we wished to visit. The security in the flat was good and we felt safe. There was a very good instruction manual. The kitchen was well equiped. The wifi was excellent, download 90mbps at least but reached 800mbps one morning, upload around 175mbps. The main bed was comfortable on the soft side, the second bed somewhat harder. The air con kept us cool throughout the flat even though it was only in the main room. There was a good place for breakfast very close, and lots of good restaurants in the immediate area. The noise levels were acceptable given that we were in the middle of busy city. The curtains couldn't be drawn back and had no tie backs, so the flat tendy to be a bit dingy. There was no ventilation in the toilet. There was no one to meet us at the property even though we had kept them posted on the progress of our journey. After a short time of waiting they sent us a code to get in but it was about 25minutes before someone arrived to introduce us to the flat.
- Barb (9/5): Superb - Good location, very spacious and comfortable.
Paola was very helpful and informative and Matias was always responsive to our needs! No complaints
- Micheline (10/5): Florence like a local! - Before our arrival, our host Matias was very welcoming and give us a lots of tips about Florence navigation( different options on to get around from the airport to the property). Upon arrival, we were greeted by Paola. She gave us a tour of the property, explain how everything works, gave us great recommendation (restaurants, grocery store, area....). We were very happy and thankful for Paola. She took the time to welcome us. Our host was available if we needed any assistance. The place was very clean, spacious, great shower and comfortable beds. Great location. We would return to this property!
- Ioulia (9/5): Superb - The apartment is nice and cozy. The location is great. Matias was a great host, he helps us with everything.
- Marina (7/5): Central and comfortable, but very loud at night - Very attentive and responsive host who provided lots of helpful information for our stay. The apartment is very central and it was very easy to get to all of the main tourist attractions. We were pleased with the ready availability of hot water in the shower! The apartment was also clean and well decorated which we appreciated. The apartment is very loud at night with talking and singing going on outside very late into the night and construction work starting early in the morning - not a good spot for light sleepers. The sofa bed is quite uncomfortable (the other beds were good), so keep that in mind if planning to use it.
- Nikolett (7/5): Good location but ... - The apartment is in the city center, everything is in walking distance. We hardly could sleep in the nights, all nights! There is a pub opposite side in the street. After the bar closed people continued the party under the apartment. The apartment has paperthin windows!
The neighbor''s apartment was under a massive construction even in Saturday. They started to work at 8 ( ripping walls).
The owner should have told us!
- Pamela (7/5): Good location, 2nd floor, and close to restaurants and easy to get to tourist attractions. - Their was a problem with the bathroom door, which required a new handle. This should have been sorted out before we arrived. At night was loud music and chatter until around 2am.
- Slavica (10/5): Amazing location and lovely space! - If you are visiting Florence for the first time, this is the perfect location! All the major museums, sights are within 7-9min walk from the apartment. Even the train station is within walkable distance. I traveled with a small child, so it was really convenient to be so close to everything - if you need a break, change of clothing. You don't feel like you are missing anything out by having a small break during the day, as everything is so close. Very clean and spacious apartment! N/A
- Carla (10/5): Exceptional - Great location- quaint old style furniture but modern kitchen and bathroom. Lots of hot water. Great host - lots of communication. Had a greeter to handover keys who even carried our bag up. Restaurant recommendations which we used every night. Was perfect for us. Nil
- Adriana (9/5): 9/10 would book again - Excellent communication with the hosts and very easy to get checked in and out. The location of the apartment is just too good, you will be a short walk away from pretty much everything. We found the apartment itself very comfortable and clean. A 2nd AC unit or at least a big fan in the main bedroom for summer months would be a good idea since these heatwaves are only going to get worse.
Like others have said, noise throughout the night - but it's an expected trade off really for staying right in the center of one of the most visited cities on Earth. Nothing hosts can do since they can't install sound proof windows on historical buildings.
- Semion (10/5): Exceptional - Location
- Deb (10/5): Exceptional -
- Veronica (7/5): Overall good for the price and great for the location. Think some slight amendments in terms of cleaning the floors/ - Great location. Had an ac unit in the living room which kept it cool. Good bathroom. Floors could’ve been cleaner. Our socks kept turning black by walking on it throughout the day. Sometimes upon return to the apartment it had a sewer like smell. Bad shower water pressure.
- Amber (8/5): Very good - The location was great. There was plenty of space for our family of four. It is right across the street from an all night club so it was very loud and hard to sleep some nights
- Narayanan (8/5): Very good -
- Jozef (9/5): Superb - The apartment is great, situated really close to the city center, no more than 5 minutes walk from Duomo. The owner was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time in Florence. There is noise coming from the outside, so if you are a light sleeper, I would recommend ear plugs.
