Guest Reviews
- Chapman (7/5): - Great spot, very comfortable
- Felicity (9/5): Fantastic view. Great modern studio and kitchenette - The view was spectacular. You can’t beat it. The studio was very clean and modern. The room only has a double bed. A queen would have been a little more comfortable
- Jessica (6/5): Great location, nice little studio. Note only a double bed. Late contact made for check-in instructions. - Great location Double bed is too small for two adults, was quite uncomfortable. Would stay again only if there was a queen bed
- Catherine (5/5): View was great, but a very expensive view! - The view Ridiculous toilet that you have to sit on sideways because it sits under a useless shuttered window. Shower wets the whole bathroom. The toilet also wouldn’t flush when I arrived. I couldn’t get the tv to work.
- Sharon (8/5): Pleasant stay for the Urunga dragon boat regatta. - The studio is well appointed and has a lovely panoramic view of the estuary. That the public can walk past and look in. Not private.
- Paula (6/5): Owners should land with a bag and stay a couple of nights and have their own experience. - The location was great - quiet and peaceful. Wonderful views of the river mouth and skies. Property was clean and almost new. Well furnished, nice art works. The appointments were quite poor. For this price point, there is an expectation of an easy and welcoming walk in walk out set up.
The little packets of biscuits on the counter would have been a nice touch welcome if they were not so visibly and completely all broken - why had they not been removed or replaced? Likewise the half used box of mosquito coils were mostly all broken, the two that weren’t had no holder so where pretty well unusable. Mosquitoes were fierce so no going outside for an evening drink to watch the moonrise over the ocean view.
No foil or oil to use on the bbq, no paper towels/serviettes. We didn’t open it - bird poo and dust on the cover - those bbq essentials could have been inside.
Small amount of dishwashing liquid left in the bottle made for sparse dish washing over two nights - the single tiny square of chux wipe summed it up. It was just cheap.
The supermarket shower wash was so highly perfumed we couldn’t use it - even for hand washing. That smell lingered. The side saddle toilet was a thing too, given it couldn’t be sat on straight because of the plantation shutters jutting out over the seating space.
Wifi was effectively non existent - Netflix unwatchable.
- Ian (8/5): - Views No aircon and relatively small double bed
- Sharon (9/5): It was very comfortable and set up beautifully - the view was amazing and it was a very trendy place. It's not necessary but having an air conditioner would have been good and the bed was a bit too soft but that's a personal preference. I think the bed was a double (I'm not sure) and a queen would be more suitable if two people are staying.
- Daniel (10/5): - Owners friendly and very helpful.
- Mel (10/5): Perfect size studio for a couple getaway, we took our toddler which it was slightly small for this but we made it work. - Stunning location and nicely styled Nothing. Everything was perfect. Maybe a little small to take a toddler
- CHARLIE (8/5): - location needs more storage, hooks, shelves etc
- Peter (10/5): small but with the space outside with the incredible view. Very peaceful close walk to the cafes, hotel etc and the boar - the view was amazing there wasn’t anything we didn’t like
- Bailden (8/5): Fantastic location and well priced holiday! - Views, easy access, location and backyard More storage for luggage bags and travel items.
