Guest Reviews
- Devereux (10/5): As we have traveled about 1400 km it was fantastic to walk in and feel at home. Thank you so much. - Location excellent views perfect we all had a great time The toaster only toasted one side and very slow
Vacuum we had to clean and cut lots of hair off brushes as it wouldn’t work properly
- Carla (8/5): Older style home but lovely cosy interior - Outside is very old which is misleading as the inside is lovely. It’s an older house but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very close to town, walking distance to everything It was a little draughty and the front rooms which faced the road could be quite noisy. But tended to settle down after 7pm
- Jacqueline (10/5): Can’t wait to stay here again - We loved the 70s vibe! Perfect location, very clean, extremely comfortable beds
- Beverley (7/5): Good -
- Aswanth (8/5): Very good -
- Beverley (8/5): Great place . - Great location with parking. Looks a little unloved from street but lovely inside . It’s a bit dated but lovely and clean and had everything we needed.
- Christina (9/5): Lovely,relaxing.Close to eateries and shops.Cooking and laundry facilities in the house. - Not applicable There was a cushion in one bedroom that stank of body odour.
- David (3/5): Poor - There was no heating in the main area of the house. I contacted the hosts by text and indicated I could not get the heating working in the lounge room however I did not receive a reply. It was a cold few days in the lounge!
The microwave smoked and died during my stay, the owners promptly delivered a microwave to their credit.
There was only one roll of toilet paper.
The shower head was old and did not stay still.
Great location. The rest was disappointing to be honest. Unlikely to stay at the address again and have stayed at this house previously.
- Brett (7/5): Great spot, spacious if a little old. - Great location, the old house had its charms The old house had its charms....
- Carsten (4/5): I would not recommend this one. - * Good beds
* Nice decor
* Good grill * A lot of noice in the house from the street. No noise isolation at all.
* Mouse droppings in the kitchen and one of the bed rooms.
* The house is generally in a poor state. Especially the kitchen.
* No dish washer
- Jenny (8/5): A home away from home. - Central location was great. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds and furniture wete comfortable. The communication prior was excellent. We hadn't thought about the traffic noise on Aberdeen St - particularly for the two front bedrooms.
- Catherine (7/5): Great location but more attention to the cleanliness would be appreciated - Loved the decor! We felt very at home . Beds especially comfortable! The cleanliness was lacking, especially in the bathroom and outdoor sitting areas. Both back and front had rubbish and lots of dust
- Kinza (7/5): Overall pleasant experience - Its in the heart of cbd. The decor is quite nice. Everything is like the photos. The host was responsive and helpful. There is a games area for kids and lots of books for them to read. The kids loved their room. I also appreciated the plastic plates and cups available for them. Kitchen was fully equipped. There is a nice outdoor area with lots of grass, a bbq and furniture in the backyard. Great for sunny days. There is also a balcony. Great to have tea. The tv has all apps installed ie Netflix, kayo etc. We didn't have any problems finding entertainment. Definitely recommend! No central heating
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
