Guest Reviews
- Melanie (9/5): Had a lovely stay at the Stylish Highrise Studio at Oaks Castlereagh Street Sydney. The apartment was clean, modern, com - The apartment had everything needed for a relaxing stay, and the facilities were excellent. I especially appreciated how comfortable the space was after busy days exploring Sydney. The hosts was also friendly, responsive, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The location was perfect — close to shops, restaurants, public transport, and many of Sydney’s attractions, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city. I really don’t have any negatives about my stay except the air conditioning was quite noisy. But that didn’t affect our sleep.

- Kezza (7/5): Budget hotel - Location was handy to town. Budget room.
Need better quality sheets.
Get blind instead of shitty Curtin.
Hairs in the bed. Not good.
Get rid of trip hazard in the curled up rug.
- Ravinder (9/5): - Very Clean and cozy room and well maintained accommodation Very small kitchenette area though property was fantastic n well maintained.
- Ashlynn (7/5): - The space was cute and in a nice central location as we had about an 8 minute walk to any transit. The location made it easy to get anywhere that we wanted within Sydney. It was super easy to get the keys and access what was needed! For the price of everything comparable and available during our time, I would say this was good value. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, specifically the shower. I did not feel clean and was very disappointed by this. There was pink mold, strands of hair, and built up dirt everywhere. Additionally, the pillows were incredibly thin/ flat and the AC makes a terribly loud noise so you could not leave it on while sleeping.

- Ellie (9/5): Beautiful studio to enjoy whilst exploring Sydney. - I loved staying here! It was so clean and so comfortable. The instructions to pick up the keys were easy to follow. It was such a lovely haven in the middle of Sydney. I felt safe walking around the area after dark and had no noise issues at all. The only minor thing was that I was hoping to find a toaster.

- Louis (10/5): A cozy and beautiful apartment to stay in, in the heart of Sydney, great value and highly recommend. - Loved the location , in the heart of the city centre. Walking distance to restaurants , shopping and close to all tourist attractions in Sydney!
Apartment was modern , cozy and had everything that you needed!
Great value as well and will come back again Loved everything about it
- ZHIYAN (10/5): - 位置很好,在中心区域,去哪里都很方便。房东提供任何帮助。
- Jackie (8/5): - Great location. Close to Central Station, light rail and Capitol Thestre Cabinetry in bathroom and bedroom need replacing.
- Judith (9/5): It was a great location and had everything we needed.Unfortunately someone had taken the teaspoons. - Central and comfortable.
- Francesca (8/5): Very small studio with brilliant location and easy check in / check out system. - The property has a brilliant location - just a few minutes from the central station and close to the major areas. The flat is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. The kitchenette is tucked away in a cupboard and was rather old. The bathroom had been cleaned but there was still lots of grime in the shower.
- Jenny (7/5): Good location but could do with a thorough clean. - It was in a good location, just out of the cbd, so a bit cheaper. Close to the tram and so many places close by to eat at. The shower needed a good blast with exit mould, the vent in the bathroom was fully covered in dust. There were no pillow cases for the spare pillows. The bed had a doona with no top sheet. Certainly hope they change the doona cover with each booking. Whilst the location was good, it came at a cost ie the sound of the screaming trains, traffic, loud locals and some nights construction sounds started at 2:00 AM !! It would benefit from some double glazing on the small window.
The stools at the bench were so rickety they almost gelt dangerous. There were no teaspoons, stirring your tea/coffee with a desert spoon was a bit silly. Also, the noise from the neighbours doors banging was quite ridiculous.
- Darrell & Kathryn (9/5): - Very lovely studio apartment, great for a short stay. Close to the train, tram and restaurants There were no spare pillows and tea towel.
- SARA (8/5): Conveniently located for a weekend getaway - Location Noise at night, with sirens. Windows not double glazed

- Kathryn (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in a great location - Loved this property. Great loacation, very clean, host was extremely helpful and responsive. Great shower, wifi excellent and smart tv was great. Had an excellent stay here. Close to the transport, airport, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend it
- Terece (8/5): Small unit but very comfortable and has lots of nice trimmings. - The unit is very clean and sanitary. Very well organised. The extra touches (doona), nice pillows, bedside tables, steamer, nice chairs etc were very welcome - just lovely. I think this unit would only be good for one person (which I was so it was fine). As it is right on a train line there was some noise so guests will need to consider if this is ok for them.
- Jonathan (10/5): Would stay again! - Amazing location. Great host with excellent communication. The place was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Highly recommend. NA
- Katie (10/5): The room was super nice and well-located, we had a great time staying here! - The room owner was very kind and accommodating, especially with regard to receiving delayed luggage while we were busy. The location was fantastic and very conveniently placed, only two blocks away from a light-rail stop or Central Station and very close to the center of Sydney. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was nice.
- Jeffrey (8/5): I would recommend this property especially if you want to be close to Chinatown, CBD & transport links. - Location was good, host was very responsive, good facilities, bright clean apartment. It was noisy at night mainly due to the trains we could hear passing.
- Nico (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie (5/5): Close to food outlets and a 15 min walk to train station. Cleaning and linen was our major concern. - Air con was so noisy it was impossible to have on and you were kept awake by the aircon in the next room. The shower had hair in it and a used shaver. The hand towel I dont think was washed. I dont think the shower had been cleaned. The pillows had no protectors and there was not an ordinary pillow slip only the fancy one matching the duvet. The glasses on the tray needed washing before use. The mat is a trip hazard.
- Paul (2/5): Very poor - Tv only had Netflix and u tube, had to put electric jug on the floor to reach a power point, no shower gel, air conditioning very noisy.
Coffee machine does not work.
- Varadarajan (8/5): Very good - The location was Good. Close to the central station.Host John was fantastic and was communicative and prompt.Could rely on him.Although luggage service is not mentioned, he kindly managed our luggage untill end of the day and handed over promptly.Mini kitchen - sufficient to handle stuff. AC, for some reason will not go below 22 degrees. the double bed can be changed to king or Queen of possible.
- Riikka (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional - The host was always available to help if needed. Perfect location...10 min walk to either town hall or Central. Many eating options nearby as well as large supermarkets. Easy to reach all the beautiful spots in Sydney. Extra comfy bed, mini kitchen and great bathroom. Perfect for single or couple for a few days or longer. Will definitely return to stay again Nothing
- Joseph (7/5): Good -
- Lester (6/5): Pleasant - Location, window you could open. Noisy air conditioning, bathroom and kitchenette more tired than stylish.
- Jonathan (7/5): The location & property were only ok - wouldn’t stay again. - Was clean & reasonably comfortable The reception/concierge were incredibly unhelpful & rude.
- Katelyn (5/5): Good location. Clear and helpful instructions from host. - Location. Clear and helpful instructions from host. Aircon struggled with the humidity and everything felt wet and sticky. Dishes and bathroom weren't overly clean..
- Liam (10/5): Great apartment in a good location - Great location, comfy, clean and really well priced.
Thank you very much!
- Bianca (10/5): Fantastic apartment in Haymarket—great location near food, shops, and landmarks, excellent value, and John is super help - I had a great stay at this apartment in Sydney’s Haymarket area. It’s in a fantastic location, close to food, shops, and within walking distance (2-3 km) of The Rocks and the Harbour Bridge. Excellent value for money, and John, the owner, was super helpful and responsive. Perfect for a solo traveler!
- Suraya (9/5): A perfect stay with a cozy apartment, unbeatable location, and a wonderful host—highly recommended! - Charming and delightful apartment to stay in! The room was perfectly prepared for our arrival, exactly as described, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s a cozy, quaint space, with lovely décor that truly enhances its appeal. We especially appreciated the fan in the room, ensuring our comfort even on warmer days. Beyond the room itself, the apartment boasts an unbeatable location—just a stone’s throw from restaurants, shops, and within walking distance of Central Station and Town Hall Station. Paddy’s Market and the Capitol Theatre are also just moments away, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. John is an exceptional host, always quick to answer any questions and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. It made our stay memorable and we will definitely come back again
- Troy (10/5): Great location easy to get to from Central station only a few minutes walk Lovely view and great TV to watch and very - Great presentation it felt warm and homely. If I was being really picky about something maybe the pillow could be a little bit better
- Suzanne (9/5): Clean, bright, comfortable, everything I needed in great location. - The property was clean, bright, comfortable bed, well appointed, had everything I needed. Great location short walk from both Central Stationa nd Museum Station, but still quiet. Nothing, all good
- Ian (9/5): Great location - Location was great. Close to the train station and all the area’s attractions Not the hotels fault but bit of street noise and our next room neighbours were a bit loud at times late at night and very early into the morning at 1am. Even with solid walls and a small room seperate to theirs they still stood out.
- Cardamone (9/5): Superb -
