• Zubaida (1/5): - This is a big NO. Avoid at all costs. You could end up stranded on the street. The contact numbers provided went unanswered despite multiple attempts. I had a terrible experience while traveling with my kids and elderly mother—we were left outside for over an hour with no response. When we finally managed to get into the room, the hallway was filled with trash and smelled awful. The apartment itself was sticky, and completely uninviting. Absolutely not recommended.

• Stefanie (3/5): Unfassbar - besser woanders mehr zahlen - Vor dem Haus waren zahlreiche freie Parkplätze. Sehr praktisch, da wir von Essen jeden Tag zur Messe Düsseldorf gefahren sind. Im dreckigen Treppenhaus roch es nach Urin und Canabis. Die aufgestellten Feldbetten sahen schlimm aus, Verfärbungen der Matratze an den Kanten. Die Jalousien nach vorne ließen sich nicht öffnen, im Ofen klebten noch Essensreste, im umgebauten Küchenschrank lag Müll, es roch unangenehm, ein Backblech habe ich erst einmal eingeweicht, Putzmittel und Backpapier besorgt, aus der Kapselkaffeemaschine kamen Fruchtfliegen, mein Mann hat morgens als erster geduscht und liegt jetzt mit einer von Legionellen ausgelösten Lungenentzündung auf der Intensivstation. Sicher er hätte sich das auch anderswo zuziehen können, aber die Inkubatiionszeit passt - leider. Daher mein Hinweis: in JEDER gemieteten Räumlichkeit Fenster auf und 10 Minuten heißes Wasser laufen lassen. Vom Klimagerät rate ich dringend in diesem Loft ab. Sah nicht sauber aus. Auch das Gefrierfach über dem Kühlschrank wirkte nicht ansprechend. Dieses "wunderschöne Loft" ist bestimmt mit guten Absichten eingerichtet worden, aber als Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen.
• Emily (6/5): Everything you need but a bit isolated and could have been cleaner - Quite spacious and had a washing machine and large bathroom. Good kitchen facilities and everything you needed. Just felt a bit isolated there, quite a bit of noise from neighbours in the night. Apartment just a bit tired and all in one room - beds, kitchen, dining room, tv etc so wasn’t overly convenient as a family as we couldn’t watch tv etc once kids weee in bed.

• Andrea (3/5): Wir haben einen Platz zum Schlafen gebraucht. Den hatteb wir. Schön wäre eswenn es gepflegt werden würde. - Parkplätze vor dem Haus Kein Support. Wie funktioniert das Licht? Die Rolläden? Kamen im Dunkeln an und so standen wir da. Sicherung rausgesprungen. Schranktüren fallen fast raus, WC Deckel locker. Treppenhaus voll Dreck..
• Hareb (2/5): Katastrophal - Nichts Boden war dreckig. Überall lag konfetti. In der toilette, auf den betten, überall. Der tisch war fleckig und dreckig. Es war keinerlei papier vorhanden. Nichtmal toilettenpapier. Der kpchenlappen war total dreckig und lag zerknüllt rum. Die betten waren sehr hart und waren nicht gemacht. Der boden an sich total dreckig. Für 138€ unverschämt. Selbst bei 20€ würde ich loch beschweren

• Jane (8/5): Unique modern looking apartment located near transportation center and shopping/dining area. - Location to central train station and shopping area. No directions were left for the lighting or shades which were remote controlled. Had to figure it out by trial and error. Also property was described as having 3 beds, but instead there were only two beds and a pull out sofa. This would have been a problem if our 5th family member had not decided to leave us early. Host was helpful and enjoyed hearing about the history of the building.

• Michael (6/5): Pleasant - Spacey. Industrial vibe. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen equipment seemed enough and fine. A bit rusty here and there. Some lights don't work. Some cupboards need repair. Very pricey, obviously due to the European championship but still, no need to rip off football fans.

• Neil (8/5): Will be the first place I check if I need to stay in Essen again. - Key collection was easy. Host provided range of pillows including thin ones (I hate thick pillows but most places including hotels only provide these and I end up using folded towels). Bed very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Was only there for a night so only got to use the bed and shower. But there appeared to be everything you could need. Not really there long enough to give a full assessment.
