• Simone (3/5): Pictures don't reflect current state of property - We loved having space after long day of travelling, bathroom was nice and water pressure good. Bedrooms clean and were nicely styled. Pictures aren't representative of state of unit. Mice in the kitchen discovered at 10pm.. Too late to find alternative accommodation in Alice Springs. The following morning we found pest bait in between the cupboards, and so the issue was known. Security gate also known to be not working yet we were supplied with gate buzzer. Reviews show gate hasn't been working for a year although guests advised it is currently being fixed. The spa is not fit for use. The unit is in a complex which is not like the pictures, very run down and seemed unsafe. No evidence of security cameras. Earlier review said they were stolen. Upstairs air conditioning units not working, downstairs light flashing so couldn't be used. Poor presentation. Earlier reviews gave high scores, I can only assume when it was new and fresh.

• Keith (9/5): - Lovely house, good air con. Had all we needed and was very nice. If you have a large hire car, tricky to park in car ports, we ended up parking inn overspill which was not an issue

• Christina (8/5): Unterkunft ist trotz der Mängel im Aussenbereich zu empfehlen, da im Haus alles sauber und gut ausgestattet war. - Haus und Einrichtung waren sehr gut und entsprachen weitestgehend den Bildern. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet ebenso das Bad mit großer Dusche sowie eine gut funktionierende Waschmaschine im Erdgeschoss. Wir können die Wohnung/Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Die Außenbereiche waren nur eingeschränkt nutzbar. Die an sich schöne Sitzgruppe vorm Haus konnte kaum genutzt werden , da im Dach des Pavillon eine große Scheibe gefehlt hat. Ebenso war der angepriesene Whirlpool stark verschmutzt und ebenso das Dach darüber. Schade, die Unterkunft wäre sonst perfekt gewesen.

• Patrick (9/5): - Die Villa ist perfekt für 4 Personen, vom Flughafen mit dem Auto in 12 Minuten zu erreichen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, sogar Holzkohle für den Grill. Leider war der Schlüssel nicht im Keysafe, und den Code hatte ich auch nicht, obwohl dafür extra ein Formular ausgefüllt werden muss. Die Kontaktaufnahme zum Vermieter war jedoch einfach, und nach einem kurzen Telefonat wurden uns der Code übermittelt.

Due to the highly advertised issues in Alice Springs and having discussed the security for our motorcycles at length prior to making the decision to stay at the property, was disappointed to find the rear secure yard too small for.our bikes. We were guaranteed secure parking in the allocated park, but on the first night, the camera was stolen by malefactors. We were not advised that it was stolen, only notified by a neighbor 2 days hence. I moved my bike to my son's place as I was not happy with security. The front, secure gates to the property were non operational during the stay, thus the property was not as secure as described. The property itself was great, just lucky the offenders only stole a camera.

• Bethany (8/5): We had a great stay with friends. Space enough to unwind after very busy days. - The location was excellent. Just across from the Todd River. A great place to walk. The views from the balcony bedroom were gorgeous looking up onto one of the many mountainous areas surrounding Alice Springs. A couple of small pieces of furniture need to be fixed and were therefore unusable. Nothing the owners couldn't fix fairly quickly.

• Dean (5/5): Passable - We ended up not staying as it was not safe to stay in Alice Springs. Never ever again! Alice Sorings is no longer safe or clean.

(Cleaner/Preparer needs to be more diligent) Expired milk (2 & 4 months expired) left in fridge. (Cleaner needs to be more diligent) False advertising in regards to "secure" gates (they were broken and never closed) Mould in bathroom around the extraction fan. Bathroom bin was stilled filled with rubbish from previous guests. (Cleaner needs to be more diligent) They wanted to charge me more money because they assumed my friend and I would sleep in the same bed and not use both bedrooms. Tight parking, lifted 4WD with items on roof most likely won't fit (I had to park mine in another car park). I asked if there was space for two cars, they didn't answer the question. There isn't. Spa not available for one nighters.

• Shakara (9/5): Superb - Very cosy and comfortable, had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy The security gate wasn’t very secure and was kept open at most times as it wasn’t shutting. The noise of drunks fighting/arguing in the complex at 2am in the morning.
• Hnin (7/5): Good - The host left a really nice greeting gift. The amenities were excellent and we had everything we needed for the whole stay. A lot of effort has been put in to make the stay comfortable. Cleanliness was 5/5. The property was the best looking one on the compound. The cleaner who attended when we checked out noticed we had left headphones behind and ran after us to return it. It was a townhouse in a compound where every other unit were locals and I’m not sure how they feel about a short term rental onsite. The gate broke very often so its gated but the gate was left open overnight, and in the morning a neighbour’s car had been broken into.
• Sophia (1/5): False advertising… call it Queen of the Desser so was expecting a resort time place - Nothing Expected a hotel/motel but instead was a unit in an unsafe looking area
• John (9/5): Comfortable stay in a well laid out apartment. - The unit was very well laid out and had everything that we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Having a washing machine was certainly handy. The owners had gone to a bit of trouble to make us feel welcome, by providing 2 "gift packs" for us to enjoy. The kitchen was also well stocked with condiments etc. The remote controlled entrance gate was not working properly and was quite often open, which basically defeated the purpose of having a "secure compound". Interestingly, when we left, we could not open our entrance gate and had to leave the property via another exit. If we used the owners wifi, then the internet coverage was good, however, if we used our own wifi, then the internet coverage was poor. The mobile phone reception was also not great.

• Phil (8/5): Great site. Tried to book it again, but it wasn't available. (Avoid Alice in the rain!!) - Good location. Pretty reasonable layout and full kitchen with table and chairs. As I have noted before, a table and chair (workspace) is important to me, and many operators don't flag this important element when promoting their accommodations. Beds and bedrooms were good. Didn't like is a bit strong. There was really nothing that was a terrible issue. Only one bathroom. No downstairs toilet. Screen door jammed, but Alice was having its first rain in a very long time. The access gates to the car park were playing up - again, we assume this was a rain issue, because when the rain stopped the gate performance substantially improved. Finding the rubbish bin was a challenge. It was curbside, on the other side of the complex, and our gate codes didn't let us access that side of the complex, so we had to walk the rubbish around the outside of the entire complex - 3 x roadways, and approx 600 mtrs. The rain presented a number of challenges, including, the front overhanging deck was open slatted, so you had to stand under the water pouring off the deck as you tried to open the front door. I say tried, because, in the rain, both the front door and screen door had swelled and jammed and were difficult to open/close and lock. Our last few days were dry and everything improved.
• Lukeyravet (7/5): Not bad for Alice springs. - Probably the best spot in Alice because it is secure. And has cameras. Beds are comfy and it was clean. Be careful of the front gate when driving in. It likes to close itself half way through opening .. the neighbours are pretty noisy until all hours. But it is Alice springs. The spa was flat and unusable
