Jaqueline (10/5): Stunning hotel the heart of a lush tropical forest! - The hotel’s setting is truly spectacular, nestled in the heart of a lush tropical forest with breathtaking views all around. One of the standout highlights was enjoying a bath while overlooking the forest and ocean…an unforgettable experience. The pool area is equally impressive, featuring a stunning infinity pool with panoramic views over Uvita and Marino Ballena National Park. The staff were exceptional throughout the stay: special thanks to Adrian, who was incredibly helpful and a real asset to the hotel. The on-site restaurant was another highlight, serving outstanding food, with the dinner set menu being particularly memorable. If I had to point out a downside, it would be that water bottles aren’t provided in the room, which feels like a small but important detail for guest comfort. One suggestion for improvement would be the layout around the infinity pool. Currently, there are chairs placed on the green area directly in front of it, which slightly disrupts the otherwise stunning, uninterrupted ocean views. Removing or repositioning them would really enhance the overall experience and make the most of such a beautiful setting. No one wants to see people sat there or chairs when you could just face the ocean. Huge layout mistake!

Juliana (10/5): Ranch Pacifico takes great care to ensure that guests have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Every detail is taken into con - The hotel setting is spectacular. It’s 2000 feet above sea level in lush tropical forest with a stunning ocean view overlooking Uvita and the Marina Ballena National Park. Each lodging is totally private and we had a beautiful view of the forest and the ocean from our deck and room.

Sophie (10/5): Incredible boutique hotel. Luxurious accommodation deep in the rainforest - One of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. Fabulous location immersed in the rainforest. Our treehouse lodge was incredible - wonderful views and loved being woken by the sounds of the howler monkeys. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food and cocktails were excellent. Can't fault it!
A (9/5): Amazing! - The location was beautiful, view-wise. I felt like I was in the clouds, and to wake up to lush greens and oceanfront was a bonus. Every single staff member was AMAZING and kind. The sit down dinners every night with a rotating menu were pleasant and delicious. The rooms had sliding glass doors which left a gap for little bugs to get into the room. It was fine for the most part, but from time to time it was bothersome. Since the hotel is a big high up, getting up and down was a challenge. We stayed on the hotel grounds for the entire trip, accidentally on purpose, and it was great, but the option to walk into town would’ve be nice.

Roger (9/5): Excellent and gorgeous hotel, but if you want to get enough sleep and have enough time for activities, consider eating e - Beautiful view, luxurious setting, kind staff, delicious food. Also the rooms were stunning and comfortable. Food service was glacially slow and inconsistent. The chef did not seem to know how to manage meals for several groups at a time. After experiencing a few slow dinners and breakfasts, our last dinner we decided to be the first people to sit down. We were still not served first (and there were only two entree choices) and we did not get ours for 1 hour after first courses were eaten. We did not receive dessert until 2 hours and 10 minutes after sitting down. One morning I preordered breakfast to be brought to the room. When it never arrived, I returned to the breakfast area to find it sitting on the counter and ice cold. Really, the 1 star food service detracted from the 5 star food. The servers and the chef need more training regarding timing.
