Breakfast is served at the rooftop with a good view of the water front. Location is very good, close walking distance to many sightseeing places and restaurants.

• T. (7/5): Great location - The room we booked had a bathtub they were unable to accommodate. They gave us another room the toilet and shower were one unit. So when you shower the whole toilet got wet the floor was slippery and if you had to go to the toilet the floor was wet and slippery it was an occupational safety issue waiting to happen . As a guest I had to wipe down the whole toilet every time I had a shower...very disappointed ...0/10 score. They did accommodate by putting more towels on the floor. I don't know if you call roof top views as city views. However Julie, the receptionist did her best. The other query is that being a level 3 booking .com customer rewards programme, a complimentary room upgrade ??? Breakfast ok but very limited. Room size not accurate very questionable .

• Victor (3/5): Awful hotel and will henceforth not recommend this hotel to anybody. - The location is in the heart of District 1 of Ho Chi Ming City - The bathroom drainage system is awful and water accumulation due to body hair get it choked. Noticed this in the last day of stay. - Additional 1 hour of check out time not being provided and want money to be paid which is against industry standards. - Breakfast does not have any variety and it is bland so to say. - The room intercom does not work. - The views from the room selected is awful and not towards the road side and gives a dark/closed feeling always. - The hotel charges 4% additional credit card fees when the hotel stay is being settled in the hotel prior to the start of the stay and this is not informed during booking stage. This is above market norms and invoice too not shared with us for the room rentals for 3 nights stay at this hotel.

• De (5/5): Passable - Good location We received an email on the day of our arrival stating they had cancelled our booking as they hadn’t heard back from an email sent to us - however we were transiting between countries and hadn’t had a chance to respond. When we came to the hotel, they tried to send us to another hotel - saying that they had no space left and were fully booked now. Until we said we would complain to booking.com, and then all of the sudden, they still had our room available? The room itself was not like the pictures, and a bit dirty, pretty underwhelming. It was difficult to communicate with staff also, as they had limited English.

I would have given 8/10 value for the money if only the drainage in the shower worked The showers and sink didn’t drain. Water would pool up badly when you shower, making the whole bathroom wet and unhygienic. After you shower it would take 10 minutes for water to drain

Although they helped seal the crack where the cockroach was, still not a reassuring experience. The cleaning of the room was not very thorough.

• Joe (6/5): Decided to move to another hotel after my two-day stay was complete. - The receptionist was very friendly. He also upgraded my room because of a complaint I had. Initial check in went very smoothly. When I got to my room, I attempted to open the door but the security bar was engaged. I though that was odd. I tried again but for sure the security bar was engaged from the inside. Then I heard a voice from the inside and a woman without an employee uniform opened the door. It smelled like cigarette smoke inside. I asked her if she had been smoking and then she sprayed some air freshener. This led to me requesting a different room. The rooms had a window but the view is completely blocked by a stairwell. Some daylight enters the room but there is no view.

The coffee shop next door is a great place to start the day The internet was terrible when you could connect it cuts off after a few minutes, Better to have a coffee next door and use their wifi.

• Travellingredscarf (6/5): Good location- check that your room has a window - -The rooms are very generous sizes -The room with a river view has a decent view of the river (partial though) -the rooms were clean -the people working at the hotel were polite and friendly. -the shower head had excellent pressure On check in I was advised my room did not have a window and was kindly upgraded for free to one with a window that looked onto two other walls and a section that was predominantly boarded up. Given the layout of the building, I estimate at least a third of the rooms are like this. While I appreciated this kindness, outside the window was mostly dark, and had have I been informed from the start (as other hotels in the area do) I would have chosen somewhere with an actual window. I ended up moving to a room with a window that looked outside at an extra cost (500k VND more for the night). I feel this lacked transparency and that I was a little duped into the situation by those managing the Booking.com advertisement. I would urge Booking.com to make it compulsory to indicate if a room does not have a window. I suspect if there is no city/river view that the room does not have a window.... Asia rugby centre point is 3 properties down, similar pricing and much more transparent about window options. From the outside it looked a little better. The furniture was cheap and although I am just one person and not large I was surprised at how much the bed moved when I got on/off it. The TV did not always register channel changes with the remote or buttons on the TV, but would allow them to be entered manually on the remote (i.e. inputting the numbers rather than up/down).
