• Lecky (10/5): We did get a bit turned around finding the house at first as Japanese addresses are confusing, but then we used the hous - We had a fantastic stay at the Kira Kira house! I stayed there with my family while they were visiting Japan, and we were really impressed with everything the house had to offer. The amenities were thoughtful and convenient like a washing machine with detergent, a fully equipped kitchen, a smart TV with Netflix, and complimentary tea and coffee made us feel right at home. The beds were very comfortable, even though they are the traditional low style, and we all slept well. Our host was incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and amenities like the nearby coin laundry. We also really appreciated the roller shutters in the front room. They were perfect for blocking out both the sunlight and any street noise, making the space extra peaceful.
• Roxanne (3/5): Disappointing - KiraKira is located in a lovely district, very close to a subway station, grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants. We stayed in five BnB type properties in Japan. Unfortunately KiraKira was the only one where we were disappointed. The beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. The futons in Bdrm 3 are missing the bottom foam mattress piece. That and the road noise made Bdrm 3 unusable. There is no AC in Bdrm 2. The linens are worn, and the property overall needs a deep clean. The cleanliness in our experience is far below Japanese standards.

• Jenny (10/5): Comfy place in a great location! - The beds were comfortable, big TV with super fast wifi. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and modern with everything we needed. Location is close to yamanote line with fast airport access. We enjoyed checking out Sugamo nearby - a really interesting old-style shopping street with a lovely temple and so many restaurants to choose from! Also close to Ueno, Okachimachi and Kappabashi for shopping. It's a great part of Tokyo and I'd love to stay there again. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.
