• Edgardo (2/5): Do not recommend - It is not a family oriented location at all. Load at night and the building being so old and not upgraded does not make it any better. Unfortunately, we did not like the stay Cockroaches everywhere, the floors are crooked, not level. Old bathrooms, small space, not all rooms have a/c. Lack of information on web or provided by the owner.
• david (1/5): - No transparency in advertising / not clear that there is no elevator Also the taxi you sent was not enough for four people with luggage We had to pay for a larger taxi ....... The published pictures do not match reality. In reality, the bed is against the wall on both sides, so it is not possible to get into the bed from the sides. Which is not shown in the pictures.
• Martijn (6/5): - Ligging Keuken en 1 slaapkamer hadden airco, 2 slaapkamers niet. Er moesten 4 steile, scheve trappen beklommen worden. Geen probleem, maar moet wel bekend zijn. Appartement was vlug verhuur klaar gemaakt en we konden bij vragen (die door de verhuurder van beneden buren verwacht werden) niet zeggen dat we het huurden.
• Guest (5/5): Pésima - El dormitorio ppal No tiene ascensor y son 4 pisos. Escalera incómoda! No había agua caliente de tarde cuando llegábamos. Pedí reembolso de una noche y me iba pero no me lo dieron. El portero. Nos dijo que es ilegal el alquiler. Dos días antes vino la policía y no dejó entrar a los huéspedes… espero lo tome en cuenta booking!!!
• Carlos (8/5): Muy buen lugar - Es muy fácil manejarse a todos lados Éramos 6 dormimos muy cómodos, falta un lugar para poder estar todos juntos después de un día agotador, en la habitación grande pondría 2 o 3 sofá camas y una mesita, para comer un excelente pizza de 1,5 dólares de abajo.
• Peter (4/5): Deceptive property - Location was great We were deceived by the photos and description. For transparency, visitors should know: The apartment is located up 5 levels of degraded “spongy” stairs. One of the bedrooms has no room to walk or place a suitcase. It feels like a closet with no natural light or direct air conditioning. Sleep with the door open. One of our companions booked a hotel after 2 nights. Another bedroom is similar but has room for a suitcase. But it has no accessible PowerPoint to charge phones overnight. So no perception of time in that room. The bathroom had no hot water at the vanity on night one. You can’t sit straight on the toilet as there is no room. The toilet paper is the cheapest available and the shower has almost no pressure. The floating floorboards are literally floating apart and feel like an ocean floor as you move over them. The air conditioners are installed in such a way that all soundproofing from windows is gone. All street noise is in bedroom one. There is no lounge. Only fold out seats. The photos were produced with extra light and at the perfect angles. Don’t be deceived. This property should be condemned.
• Anonymous (3/5): Claiming 5th floor after bust day was horrible - Location very good 5th floor no lift. One big room double bed, tv, air conditioner. Second and third room very small, in one of them no space, I had to crawl to a bed, no air conditioner, bedside table located at the end of bed, to sweetch tha light on or off I had to use wall switch . Fire alarm twice during the night, to hot .we took it off the wall and kept in the bathroom to prevent be walked again . About 19-15 minutes awaiting for warm water to come to 5th floor . Very basic furniture but clean
• Kirsten (9/5): Fabulous location and comfortable stay - The apartment was in an amazing location and had everything that we needed. Was very comfortable and clean. The aircon worked well and had enough space for us all. We traveled with a toddler so the quiet, dark back bedroom and security locks on front door was very much appreciated. The apartment made our trip just that much better. Thank you The hot water in the shower didn’t work in the mornings but that’s probably a building issue. Loud road noise from front room but expected for New York, just bring ear plugs :)
• Martin (8/5): Very good - Yes small bed rooms but What would you expect in NYC. Location is very good. 10 minutes walk to Time Square or subway station. Neighbourhood is a bit loud.
• Hayley (5/5): Location - Location was excellent and having 3 bedrooms. I would advise to do better with cleaning and more transparency in the details. Mentioning the apartment is on a 5th floor and doesn’t have air conditioning.

• Irina (1/5): Not worth the money nor headache - 1. NO HEATING (though it was promised in the description of the unit). Eventually, we were provided with small portable heaters; they were not reliable, couldn’t cover the area to keep it heated and it was not safe to keep them running through the night as it would create a fire hazard. A day after we were provided another set of space heaters that were larger. We plugged them in on opposite sides of the unit: one in the kitchen and another one in the master bedroom and as we turned them on, the power went out. The management team was not reachable. We were left without power and heat all night as the temperature that night dropped to low 20s. This is not acceptable. 2. NO HOT WATER, barely warm, which made it frustrating taking a freezing cold shower the first night. At some point we got some hot water but other time it was lukewarm at best. 3. Cracks in the window frames allow cold air to come inside the unit making rooms colder. 4. Kettle is broken (melted on the bottom) though it is promised in the description of the unit that there will be a working one. Eventually we were provided with another one that was safe to use but that was only after they brought in a plastic one that was not safe to use as black plastic releases toxins when heated. 5. The unit was NOT CLEAN. A lot of areas, such as: window seals and corners of the rooms were dirty. 6. MOLD in the unit. There is mold in the bathroom, which creates another health hazard. They wanted to come and treat the mold at 8pm at night or 8am in the morning as well as patch up the walls and paint the bathroom while we were occupying the unit. There is no ventilation in this unit, paint usually takes 3-4 days to dry since the unit doesn’t have proper heating, nor ventilation. Inhaling paint toxins affects health. This makes unit not acceptable nor safe to stay in. We were not offered to be relocated to another unit. 7. NO ELEVATOR. It's not specify that the unit is on the 5th floor, old not safe staircase.
• Karen (10/5): Fabulous central location that provided everything we needed for our 12 day stay visiting New York. Was very cold outsid - Was warm and clean and very handy to central New York and all the tourist locations as well as the subway. Is up five flights of stairs but nice to be off street level. Very noisy in main bedroom from the street but think it would be hard to find anywhere in New York that isn’t. The other 2 bedrooms were much quieter as further back from road in apartment.

• Daniel (10/5): We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! - We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect - everything felt so close, which made exploring New York City incredibly easy. The price was great for the value, and the space was clean, well equipped, and exactly what we needed. Communication with the rental personal was excellent. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is on the fifth floor, and there’s no elevator. It didn’t bother us, but it might be something to consider for others.
