Guest Reviews

- Flippity (6/5): Thoughtful, but some pretty major issues - Very responsive. I made a 10:15pm booking due to my previously reserved accommodation losing my booking and the property had sent my check-in details within the two minutes it took between making the reservation and calling them.
Spacious, comfortable and quiet - no noise from the other tenants (though it was next to a noisy road and the blinds let the streetlight in).
A good desk for working.
Working radiator, though no air flow as it's blocked by the bed.
It was well equipped, with some thoughtful additions similar accommodation often lacks. Hair dryer, iron, ironing board, safe. Space to hang coats. Shelf in the en-suite, two sets of towels, plenty of toilet roll and some small toiletries. Smart TV to use your own log-ins. Washer/dryer, laundry tabs and clothes horse. Kettle, toaster, hob, oven (no microwave), fridge, tea towel, kitchen roll, spare bin bags, well equipped kitchen. Tea, coffee, sugar sachets (no milk but there are shops 5-10 min walk away) and salt and pepper. They asked for additional payment in the form of a security deposit/damage waiver that was not declared on the listing, (and specifically listed as not acceptable on the invoice) but did not press this point.
The door latch was practically falling off and had to be tightened with a butter knife because the door wouldn't lock upon exit. Make doubly sure to check the door before you leave. It did make me a bit anxious about leaving my belongings during the day.
There was quite a bit of black mould and condensation on the walls and floor by the window - that's worth looking into as that is a health risk.
There was a faint smell on arrival (like menthol cigarettes) but it quickly dissapated. It would have been nice to have washing up liquid and a toilet roll holder. I'd also recommend less vinegar when washing towels.
It was a nice room but expensive for what it is - I got a good rate but all other dates listed are upwards of three times the price and I'd expect a lot more.

- Stefan (7/5): - Comfortable bed. Mold on the walls, very small bathroom. I had to pay an extra insurance using an external link.
- Jacqui (5/5): Wasn’t the greatest of rooms I’ve stayed in. Far too small in comparison with most I’ve stayed in. - It was very small and being by the main road I didn’t get much sleep. It would have been better with thick curtains to block out the street lights too. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Bathroom extremely small.
- Jiranan (10/5): - Great location
- Kaddour (1/5): J’ai dû trouver un autre hébergement en urgence car pas adapté pour loger - Rien c’est sale et horrible pour séjourner Tout est propice à passer un mauvais séjour
- Paul (9/5): - La hora de salida muy temprano

- Cibelly (10/5): - Acomodação perfeita bem localizado e seguro

- Lusambya (5/5): I recommend this place to people coming to London for work; people who leave early, eat out and just come late to sleep. - The bed The property is situated on a busy road. Traffic is non stop 24/7. No microwave but we found a big oven for what? The shower head not working properly. You struggle to get water. The basin is too small and is situated just under the toiletries holder. No ways to wash the face or brush teeth.
Please add a fan if possible.
No internet connection throughout our stay despite the report the lady promised to send someone but no one came.
- Vicky (8/5): -
- Liam (5/5): Everything was spot on as advertised & described online apart from a strong drain smell coming from the bathroom - The area and the people The smell coming from the bathroom
- sean (10/5): Excellent will be back - Easy to access, great customer service Would have preferred a key for peace at mind for belongings being left inside.
Tea and sugar was a nice touch but being fussy a sachet of milk would have been great.

- Kyran (6/5): Comfy Bed! The property has potential but needs better attention to detail - The bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the host was highly responsive and helpful throughout the stay. The property has potential but needs improvement. Hot water only works at low pressure, and the room layout is awkward—the oversized kitchen pushes the bed into the bay window, which lacks curtains, allowing in light and noise from the road. Adding blackout curtains would help. While the space appeared clean, it smelled damp, furnishing slightly damp and some areas were missed—dusty blinds, a dirty window ledge, and fly marks on the ceiling. The mattress was clean, but there were a fair few hairs under the linen in the mattress crevices . Better attention to detail would greatly enhance the stay. Also the cleaning fee was far too high for the level of cleanliness
- Uygar (5/5): Passable - If you want to stay cold on a cold English night, this is the right house for you because the heaters don't work, and if you enjoy taking a shower with very little water when taking an outdoor shower, this house is just the right size for you. The location is not bad either, it has access to buses and the metro. - Mark (1/5): Very poor and uncomfortable with inadequate sleeping arrangements. - The location was ok.
The bedding arrangements weren’t as requested.
The bathroom had NO hot water.
The bathroom smelt badly of,I’m assuming mould which was visible. The bedding arrangements weren’t as specified on booking.
The bathroom smelt badly.
There was NO hot water in the shower.
The beds next to the window adjacent the road and the noise of pedestrians talking and traffic really are enough to keep you awake.
Also the main door access to the rest of the house which accommodates permanent tenants will slam closed anytime of the day which included a 3am arrival home, the door is next to the room you try to sleep in. The listing mentions a restaurant and areas aside from the main accommodation, there’s none of that apart from the very tiny smelly bathroom and the bed/kitchen area.
- Ceyhan (7/5): Good -
- Uchechukwu (4/5): Manager aware that warm water when bathing requires fix, aside that the property is excellent - Communication with owner/manager was excellent, studio flat clean, the bed was very comfortable and the heating and cooker works well The warm water when bathing to be fixed - manager aware
