Guest Reviews
- Sonja (7/5): Good location, not very comfortable - It was right around the corner from Via Sarpi (unofficial Chinatown) and the tram stop. It had two double beds, which me and my partner prefer, due to snoring. My mattresses was comfortable, my partner found his to be too soft. There were a sufficient amount of towels and pillows. It had enough space for both of us to be on our laptops and have space to relax. It was a loft on two levels that was remodelled to accommodate separate rooms but the walls were more like separators, I still had to wear earplugs as I could hear my partner snoring, despite sleeping in separate “rooms”. The second level toom had windows, instead of a wall, so if the light was one above, the light was on in my room too. It was freezing cold and the heating would turn off at night, despite it being turned all the way up, due to the rooms being large and tall, the small heaters barely heated them up when they were on. Several furniture pieces were broken or on the verge of breaking and there were stains on throw pillows, walls and the couch. This made the place feel a little uncomfortable, which was disappointing given the price (we paid just over €1000 for a week). The duvet was one of those slip on ones without closures, which means if you roll a lot during the night, you will be stripping it naked, touching what I assume is an unwashed duvet. It was impossible to wash your hands in the downstairs bathroom without spraying water everywhere and the shelf below the sink was not made for the bathroom, which showed in the considerable water damage.
- Attila (8/5): Spacious for 4 people - A quiet but quirky place. 2 bedrooms and spacious beds, enough space for a family of 4 adults. Good quality furniture and kitchen. Great - albeit very little - 2 bathrooms. 30 mins on foot to the Duomo and the neighbourhood has great bars and restaurants. Lights in the whole place were just not thought through. Either too dark in the living room using one lamp by the sofa or way too much light with the ceiling lamps on. The kitchen was also too dark with all lamps on. No lamps at all for the countertop. And the kitchen hood didn't work at all. Bear in mind that all windows open to a dark busy inner courtyard so the window shutters had to be closed all the time to prevent neighbours from watching the guests. So in a dark apt like this, the lamps must be super. They clearly weren't.
