- Richard (9/5): Good facility; great location - Great location. Very quiet. Nothing - it worked perfectly for me
- ESRA (4/5): Orta ama check in check out sistemi bizi yordu. - Konumu iyiydi , mutfağı gayet iyiydi, banyoda hijyen malzemelerinin bulunması da çok iyiydi. Check in ve check out sistemi çok zorlayıcıydı o konuda hiç yardımcı olmadılar.
- Charlotte (3/5): Poor - The online positive was the location and the fact that the bed sheets and towels were clean. Everything else was dirty, the table was sticky, the carpet and wall had so many stains. We lacked many bare necessities including toilet paper.
- Barznji (5/5): Passable -
- Fotis (1/5): Bad - There was a rat in the bath. They asked for photos of the rat for evidence!
- Laura (1/5): Filthy beyond imagination - Centrally located We booked this place through booking.com for a short stay. Real Victorian squalor greeted us as soon as we set up foot in the room - from the malfunctioning door which required great strength to open and close, to the grabby furniture, which included ONE kitchen chair only. Everything in this accomodation for 2, is in a quantity of one: one cup, one fork, one knife, one bowl, one plate, one toilet paper roll! Except for the hangers in the wardrobe, of which there was none - so that we had to resort to hanging our jackets on the plastic hooks cheerfully scattered randomly around the battered walls, which haven't seen a paint job in decades - what the walls have seen though, is mysterious lashings of unknown fluids which added a few abstract stains to the room decor. The pièce de resistance however was the carpet - its original colour unknown, and bearing throughout the marks and DNA of previous residents from eras bygone. This look was complemented beautifully by an office chair, which looked as if someone's body had decomposed on it and their fluids had left their imprint in the fabric as an eternal gift to posterity. The whole experience only set us back 450 gbp for a 4 night stay for 2 people - a small price to pay to live the full dickensian London experience.
- Naime (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jose (1/5): Appalling customer service and keys not working the full time. Cleanliness was disgusting - The location was good and check in instructions was simple. Cleanliness of room, there was dirt and paint on carpet and damp in room with marks all over walls
Key didn’t work when we got back and wasn’t fixed till 4am which meant we didn’t have anywhere to sleep from 1am-4am. Wasn’t fixed by the maintenance people the full 2 nights we stayed even though we complained straight away.
- Yonca (1/5): Disaster - I left the hotel, after the first night. The room was smelly I guess because of the dirty towels under the kitchen counter and I saw a dead mouse in the corner. Bathroom, sink area are so small. I refused to pay the cleaning fee (which is nonsense) and the stay. There were no people in the facility at night so I couldn't talk or complain about these. For the first floor, I can add that the outside of the hotel was very noisy too. I would never go there again.
- Lopeman (4/5): If you want what you pay for don't book here. - The bed itself was quite comfy and the location is great. Literally everything else. This room does not have the facilities advertised as they don't work.
The hob broke on my first day, which took a few days to fix. The plug socket nearest to the bed was making a crackling sound which I think is very dangerous, but the staff/maintenance didn't seem to care. There was also no actual plug in the bathtub, I asked for a plug on my first night but it never arrived.
I spent a good few hours during my stay on hold to customer service for these apartments in order to sort the issues out. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my week away!
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Itsuki (2/5): You should stay in a hotel with better facilities in the same price range. - The location is almost perfect. You can walk to all the famous places in London. Room facilities were terrible and dirty.
No lighting, no Wi-Fi, no hair dryer. The kitchen in the room was dirty.
Pot was badly greased and dishes and glasses were covered with dust.
I had planned to cook in the room, but it was impossible.
When I asked for help with lighting and Wi-Fi via booking.com, the hotel management company replied "We will inform the team about your issues with wifi as well as the light in your room. We will update you, shortly." But there was no update after that.
On the last night, I located the breaker in my room and restored the light. The only time the light in my room came on was the last night.
- Thomas (7/5): Nice place. Would probably stay again. - Great location. Comfy and roomy room. Warm. Would be great if there was tea/coffee available.
- Abenedict (5/5): Passable - The location and price was good. The room was what I expected for the price. Little kitchenette, nice shower, clean. Way too many service steps to sign in and the rental group was not organized enough to manage any of it. We were only given the door combo and not the key code. We had to ask for the key code and were given the wrong code. When we arrived we were locked out at midnight and had to call the provider, wait on hold, to get the correct code. We asked for a fan and a quiet room which does not exist at this location. The room was so hot so we had to leave the window open for a short time. All of the nonstop street noise, trucks, bottle collection, screaming girls, and motorcycles every 5min could have been helped by having a fan and being able to close the window. We were so tired during the day it really made it difficult to enjoy our trip.
- Fernanda (5/5): Good location and price, but not clean and very noisy - Location Not clean. Mice noises. Not replacement of toilette paper. When we arrived they gave us a room that was not ready.
- Richard (1/5): Really Bad. Really Awful. A Rip-Off. A truly offensive rip-off. - Nothing much — except there was a lift that worked and it was close to bus & tube — and the receptionist was pleasant. The entrance is not on Devonshire but around the corner on Hallam — you should tell people so they don’t spend half-an-hour walking up & down looking for No2.
There was no bulb in the table lamp, so that didn’t work. There was only one chair so that made it impractical for two to sit in what you described as a stylish-studio-apartment. There was hardly any cutlery so cooking and/or eating-in (even a takeaway) was quite impossible.
Your presentation/description that this property is a stylish-studio-apartment is a TOTAL LIE.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (7/5): All in all is a great place to stay if your main focus is on sightseeing. - Great location. Close to the underground station, bus station and right next to the beautiful Regent’s Park. The rooms are well equipped, they provide a set of towels for each guest, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion too. The kitchen had a microwave, some cutlery, pans and bowls. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The furniture is a bit out dated and some parts of the rooms could use a deep cleaning.
- Linzi (4/5): Not what I was expecting from the pictures - It’s proximity to attractions The fact I had to clean the shower before using it and the mould in the shower
- Sıddıka (4/5): Disappointing - Location (close to meteo station) and also walking distance of some touristic places Cleaning
- Asmaa (7/5): It was fun. I enjoyed my stay - Excellent location near to everything , studio is big and you have all you need for a little stay. Matress and pillows not comfortable at all, the shower is little broken, noisy because instructions outside, very Slowly lift..
- Pham (8/5): Very good -
- William (7/5): Overall good - The location was super! Close to everything in central london. The building and the flat I self was nice and decent. We got to check in early which was nice! The fact that we couldn’t get a hold of anyone that worked there, we called several times and no one picked up. Our washer broke and it was water everywhere and no one answered when I tried to call. When we wanted to check in I didn’t get the link to check in and when I tried to call they didn’t answer.
- Charles (2/5): Very poor -
- Edel (5/5): Passable - close to where we needed to go to. room smelled of smoke and was grubby in places
- Alice (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sue (8/5): Very good -
- Stanley (8/5): Comfortable, well-positioned apartment for both student and sightseer. We very much enjoyed our stay - Location superb. Lovely view from room. Lift reliable. Staff friendly. Bed could have been better. Kettle would have been nice.
- Grissom (5/5): Will stay somewhere else next time. - No breakfast The room was big but dirty. No ventilation so we left windows open and being on the street everyone could see in. And it was very noisy. I did get some complements on my package from the people walking by in the morning…
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Location staff no fuss just allowed to get on with it Everything was fine
- Adrian (5/5): Passable -
- Mandy (8/5): Had all we needed - Great price for the holidays in a convenient central location - student accom but being holidays the students had gone home - we picked up a special rate - suited us fine to explore the city N/A
- Saber (1/5): + location & - facilities - the location facilities
- Merce (5/5): location is perfect as close to regent's park and Marylebone life- place is lowish standards and run down - London i - location
I only chose it for the location very run down, bed not so comfortable, cleanliness could improve
- Khush (2/5): Smelly, dirty and mis-advertised student accommodation - The location was good as it was close to Regent’s Park and local tube stations and amenities. The studio was dirty, smelly and very unpleasant. The kitchen area consistently had a terrible smell coming from the cooker and fridge which you absolutely could not use as they were dirty. The same thing would also be said for the cutlery and pots/pans. Luckily we ate out as the thought of using their facilities was revolting.
The small bathroom had cool water running from the shower no matter what time it was used and the cupboards and flooring seemed all worn out and unclean. The lighting was also poor in the whole studio including the bathroom with missing spotlights.
The studio is advertised as a plush apartment on the website however they fail to tell you that they are student living apartments!! Not a great experience, not worth the money, would not recommend or return again.
- Auðun (7/5): Good -
- Per (3/5): Overpriced, would not book again. - Very good location in London, within walking distance and/or commuting distance to museums, restaurants et c. Several pubs and cafés close by.
The day-week man at the counter was nice and helpful, he even went out to buy extra coat hangers, but we were referred to owners for most issues (see below). Guests should be aware that this host doesn't provide cleaning of rooms, changing of towels or emptying of trash cans during stay. Toilet paper, cleaning products for the kitchenette et c is not included in price, just hand soap and shampoo.
Situated in a back street, very noisy at night (traffic). We saw (and smelled) huge pile of garbage on the sidewalk just outside our room throughout our six nights stay.
The room itself was rather run down, with heavily stained carpets in room and bathroom. There was a quite strong, permeating smell from the kitchenette. There was a fridge, but after one night everything we had put there was frozen solid, so we really couldn't use that. No offer to change rooms when we adressed this with the staff - we were recommended to turn to the booking facilities.
- David (8/5): good value and good location - the location, good communications with it wasn’t air conditioned, and we were there on the hottest days on record (not their fault!)
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Vpsingh93 (10/5): Excellent stay. Unbelievably low prices for central London location. - Didn't expect to find a property at this price in Central London so definitely a big recommendation on that end.
Staff is amazing and communication was also clear. Nothing much. A bit hot but that's a problem across UK due to heat wave so it seems nothing specific to property. Being a student accommodation, I don't expect them to put Air-conditioning.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional - Great host - Thank you very much!
- Barron (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much in a superb location. Staff were outstanding couldn't do enough. - Not Applicable. Carpet needed replacement. Crockery and cutlery incomplete. Chairs very wobbly one was unusable.
- Shane (3/5): very disappointing - This property was advertised as a 'Modern Studio apartment' - when I arrived there is a big sign behind reception saying 'student Accomodation. 'Modern' = carpet seened to be 40 years old / apartment had a bad smell
- Victor (5/5): Passable - The photos do not fit with real status of the room, it is old and non well maintained…
- Wolff (9/5): Superb -
- Yair (10/5): Great stay - Great customer service, well located and amazing room.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Minja (6/5): You get less than you pay... - The location of the studio is perfect for tourists, you can easily get to every part of London from here. Don't expect any kind of help of the stuff because they are not friendly, if you ask them anything they say they will finish it tomorrow, and than they do nothing about it.
- Christopher (4/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Location Bathroom had mould, windows couldn’t be held open and kept slamming in the night sounding like a gunshot. Airconditioning didn’t work so was hot as hell
- Huw (1/5): disappointing - location I went for hospital treatment the room was disgusting I have photos of needed
- Dagan (7/5): Good -
- Nidal (7/5): Great stay and the manager is extra helpful - Very welcoming stuff helping u around and convenient location The room didn’t have a couch and a bit old
