Guest Reviews
- Jessica (8/5): - Beautiful views from bed over the dam and hillsides.
- Nam (10/5): Excellent use of such a small space. Cosy quiet and comfortable. - Loved the quietness and simplicity. Very comfortable for such a tiny place. Had to be careful about power use as using the kettle and heater could cause a blackout.
- Lynne (8/5): comfortable - I did not stay for breakfast as needed to get ion the road . The fresh eggs would have been lovely nothing
- Fiona (10/5): Great place to stay - Really cute, very private, an easy drive to Coonabaraban. Great communication from owner. Ideal for a couple. Nothing
- Michelle (10/5): A cosy warm comfortable stay with a brilliant host in Mel!! -
- Michelle (6/5): Cute and tiny home for stargazing - Cute and clean house
Quiet and peaceful surroundings
Can stargaze from the room due to the large clear windows
Close to city and observatories for stargazing Heater wasn’t working and/or we weren’t able to get support from the host as it was quite late. No electric blankets available as well.
So we slept in the cold, very poor sleep.
Compost toilet, we expected it and it was clean. But we really dislike the smell.
- Martin (9/5): Greta place but make sure you have proper directions and contact info for Melissa - Everything on site was great. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again
Host was very helpful and concerned it had taken us a lot to find the place It was very hard to find the site
You need proper directions and the ad and messages donlt give you that
Leave Coonabarabran on Edwards St going south east for 4.1kms
You'll see 'Glendalough' on the left then Little Argyle on the right
We're not dumb but it took us over 75 mins to find it
We had given up, decided it must be a scam and were going back to town to look for a motel when we spotted the sign
I think the ad was put up by Tinyaway, not the host
The phone number and email were useless and we got no response from several of each
But we know this is not the property's fault, though it reflects badly on them
Lockbox code was not in instructions either - had to wait for host
(Booking sent a message with the phone number 2 hours after we got there - not helpful!)
- Chiara (7/5): We had a wonderful time at the tiny home! Some criticism but overall great experience :) - Location was great, the view beautiful. It was easy to find with clear instructions to locate the key. The tiny home itself was of course tiny but as expected and with AC and modern interiors it was very comfortable! The floor to ceiling windows / doors gave us a stunning view of the property, with star gazing from the bed out the side window, as well as a beautiful view of the sunrises and sunsets. We were told that SUP board, canoe and fresh eggs would be provided. They were all unavailable, which was not a big deal but a little disappointing/ it would have been nice to get a heads up to manage expectations. The pond/ dam that we were told we could swim in was very brown/ murky so we did not attempt. Again, would have been nice to manage expectations. Lastly, the water took a very long time to change temperature/ did not really do so and the toilet water ran out (it's a compost toilet) so we had to flush it with tap water. The appliances (kettle and small coffee machine provided) did not work. All small inconveniences that did not mess with the general enjoyment of our stay but worth mentioning for improvements :)
- Vicki (8/5): Lovely stay - Location was beautiful , quiet and relaxing
The bed was comfy Had no water pressure with the shower but that was it
- Andrew (10/5): Quiet, peaceful, great views, very comfortable. - Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, I had a great sleep! The BBQ was a great benefit. I enjoyed the home-grown eggs too, thank you. Lovely views. There was no stove inside to cook on. I used the BBQ so that wasn't a problem, but could have been if it was raining.
- Nik (9/5): Superb -
- Ellen (10/5): Relaxing - The property was clean and well maintained. The privacy was great and so was the serenity
- Colin (10/5): This accommodation was perfect for me as an amateur astronomer due to the night sky’s and almost non-existent light poll - This Tiny House was an ideal getaway. As an amateur astronomer I was able to observe the sky and the Milky Way high overhead all night long. Nothing!
- Julie (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, open fields & big sky view
- Jenny (8/5): Had a very enjoyable time. Thanks you - We enjoyed our stay in the Argyle Tiny home it was perfect for us.
The accomodation was very private and comfortable.
We were greeted by the friendly animals on the farm which we welcomed.
Our host Mel was very friendly and helpful when needed.
- Genevieve (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant - Private and cosy Supplies weren't provided as promised until requested.
No suitable kindling for outdoor fire
Toilet casset was nearly full on arrival and water not running to empty loo
- Kimberly (10/5): Beautiful stay and great location - Very cute - beautiful location with everything you need. Could have used a warmer duvet just as it really cooled off overnight.
- Camille (10/5): Tiny house - Brilliant option. Tint house is lovely setting. Not to far out of town. Bed comfortable and brilliant use of space Rained and so sit inside as no cover outside and it is tiny
- Christine (8/5): The sound of peace and quiet was very nice at night whilst sleeping. It was lovely to arrive at this tiny house and it w - The location was very nice. Lovely to sit out in the fresh air and enjoy the cows and horses. If the area around the cabin was contained so you could freely let the dog off that would be wonderful.
BBQ was not cleaned and it didn’t work even after husband cleaned the greasy plates. Had to use the electric hot plate inside the house which then made the house hot and smelly.
Need to have a welcome instructions for people to follow - clean bbq after using. Would be wonderful if fly screen could be put on front door so to let fresh air in and stop bugs. If it was too hot then having the cooler on all night would not have been pleasant.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly host, the peace and all the animals
- James (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (10/5): Fun and unique place to stay - Clean well provisioned unique tiny house. Comfortable and a bit of fun on a lovely rural property. Owners’ little dogs visited often and very cute. Easy distance to Warrumbungle and Siding Springs. Have always wanted to stay in a Tiny House.
- Jami (9/5): Superb -
- Jiahua (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place to relax.
- Eleni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Beautiful but could have been better - The view the location The dead plants at the front door the cobwebs all over the front of the tiny home the butter in the fridge had separated due to the power been turned off and on property says eggs milk and butter provided didn’t get any eggs and got uht milk the website sounds like a farm stay which it is not $260 a night I was happy to pay for the experience but I did not get What I was offered all the bad things are such a easy fix seriously take a picture out the window at 2am the stars are incredible put that on your website show people the really amazing views of the property
- Nicholas (10/5): Brilliant - Scenery and nature Consumables ran out
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sally (9/5): Definitely recommend - Great little spot and great hosts.
- Rodney (9/5): overall, it was a nice experience. - it was a lovely quiet spot not far out of Coonabarabran. very clean and fresh. it would’ve been nice to have an electric blanket as it got very cold and the air conditioning was a bit noisy behind the bed head wall.
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
