Guest Reviews
- Violetta (7/5): - Location The shower was not convenient (water comes only from above). The apartment didn’t have natural light. You could hear everything from the corridor, making it difficult to sleep in the living room.

Man hört alles sehr laut. Schade auch, dass es im Badezimmer noch nach Baustelle aussieht und das es keine Handbrauhse in der Dusche gibt.

- Klaudiusz (5/5): Kiepsko - Lokalizacja. Brak światła naturalnego, prysznic przeciekający, niedziałająca klimatyzacja, słabo reagujący personel.
- María Isabel (10/5): - Excelente localización y apartamento muy cómodo.

- JD (9/5): Nice stay and I would do it again. - Right in St Peter’s square so easy to get around. A nice kitchen and space. There were 4 of us so pullout bed was the living room which was the entrance of the house. A bit crowded.
- Michał (5/5): Passable - We really liked the location, very close to the St Peter's Square (5min walk), walking distance from the Old City and Trastevere. Around 15min walk from the Ottaviano metro station.
Borgo Pio is a nice pedestrian street with many places where you can eat. Cleanliness of the apartment - it was dirty...
We had to clean the bathroom - including shower - ourselves before using it.
Dishes and cutlery required cleaning, but the dishwasher did not work - well, it did something but the dishes smelled bad after wasning and had some unpleasant coating so we had to wash them manually...
Patio looks very nice on the photos but we did not even try to use it - it wasn't clean either and it was the ground level of the "well" with windows of many apartments (2 or 3 levels up) facing it.
Finally it is really dark - the only windows are those overlooking the patio.
Consider this apartment if you get really good price and you want to use it only as a place to sleep.
- Hebe (6/5): Very disappointing! Nice place in desperate need of maintenance - Location was great
wifi worked well
Staff was kind before arrival and at check in This apartment is nice and looks true to the pictures but is in desperate need of maintenance. Many things were broken or falling appart and some were even a hazard for children. Just to name some examples: Main door handle from inside fell off twice and you could see some dry glue residue. Bathroom door handle constantly falling off (someone had to let you out). The armchair in the room was broken and we almost injured ourselves. The rubber from the shower falls off as well and then the water is all over the floor when you shower.
We did not report the issues to the staff because we stayed only for one night and paid for 2 because we had a late flight. It was frutrating because most maintenance issues were visible and hosts should know better.
Would not recommend this place.
- Alexandra (5/5): The need to improve the apartment in the bathroom - The location The bathroom was full of black slime and it didn't look good, and the water was overflowing. They didn't leave me extra towels, only one for each person. They didn't leave a quilt for the bed either.
- Bea (10/5): Loved every minute of it and I’ll be back in a heartbeat. - Francesco met at the door to let us in and explained everything and gave us useful hints and tips what was in the insanity to visit. Thank you so much again Francesco! We paid the City tourist tax directly to Francesco. I don’t mind paying tourist taxe as I grew up in a village in the mountains that had tourist tax and that tax was used to keep lidos, parks and anything used by tourist and locals in good shape.
Despite being there in October, we were grateful for the air-conditioning as it had two days where the temperature went up to about 30.
Location is absolutely unbeatable. We took the bus from the airport to the second drop-off point and it was only a 10 minute walk to the flat . Returning to the airport was just as easy and cheap.
Stepping out the front door and you’re on the pedestrianised street with lots of restaurants spilling out onto the pavement for fantastic meals. It was so close to Saint Peters Square that we strolled there nearly every evening to sit on the steps and enjoy the sunset.
everything seems 20 minutes walking distance away, but we did have our teenage son who walks fast and we had to keep up with him. Visitors might think 30 minutes is more appropriate . There are several supermarkets around the corner and the kitchen is well equipped for making a quick meal.
First time I used a pod coffee machine and I really liked it I might get one myself now. I liked sitting outside in the courtyard and enjoying a coffee with my feet up while the rest of the family was snoring away having an afternoon nap.
We stayed seven nights and only cooked twice in the evening.
We used the washing machine and were really grateful to have had that as it cut down on luggage. Whilst I enjoyed the courtyard, the flat is like a traditional European apartment blocks that have a courtyards to give inward facing apartments light, as they do not have front facing windows. This made the flat a little bit dark but then who goes to Rome to stay inside a flat.
I know I should’ve asked for an ironing board, but I didn’t so I ironed on a towel on the table.
- Belen (8/5): I would recommend being more thorough with the cleaning to make sure it’s ready and make it more welcoming. Also, having - I love the location and how it’s so close to the Vatican. It was spacious and can actually spread out. The elevator wasn’t working. Even though we were on the “1st” floor, we still had to carry bulky luggages up the steps. Also, the bathroom handle door and bathroom door were broken. My niece had to fix and pop them back in place. There wasn’t a caddy to put our stuff in the shower and had to keep picking stuff up off the floor. There were also leftover hair products from the previous renter that weren’t removed. Also the floors were uneven and had to be aware of the steps when you moved about the apartment.
- Stephen (9/5): Great location, fair price. - Location was brilliant. Short walk to the Vatican and over the river to the main sights. The road it's on is a really bustling street with cafes and restaurants. Very family friendly.
Apartment was comfortable but could do with a bit of a refresh. Mattresses were VERY soft. We'd come back and stay again.
- Nikola (10/5): Exceptional -
