It was easy to check-in and to check-out; the instructions were very clear. As the fire station is in the neighborhood ear-plugs are essential to sleep well. Rubber water collector would be useful in the bathroom.

Apartment is a little dated, just needs a little freshen up. The balcony door was difficult to lock, it might need looking at.

Very small negative, just not enough room on the lounge for all of us to sit. To be fair there were 5 of us, two being young children. Comfortably seats three. Otherwise a fabulous place.

• Michael (9/5): Comfortable apartment with adequate facilities that suited our needs for our short city stay. - The location was ideal for our requirements. Easy access to public transport. Close to facilities such as supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Within easy walking distance to city sights. Good kitchen facilities for self-catering. A little noisy to traffic and people passing by until late evening, but probably expected in the city.

• Cherrie (9/5): Excellent location, great size and full amenitites, very comfortable stay - Loved the location!!! so close to shopping, bars, to restaurants, parks. The size was great and the host allowed us to go in the reoom early as early arrival and I had a broken shoulder as the room was already vacated. the layout of the two bedrooms, kitchen and lounge was perfect. Shower in 2nd bathroom leaked to floor but we were warned about that prior and there was workarounds. A little noisy but ok for us as you expect this being so central. Very happy with everything else

Next door to the fire station = v noisy Next door to major works, eg new metro station - incredibly noisy at night. Patio doors didn’t shut properly (and didn’t lock)so couldn’t shut the noise out. Both toilets continually running. Property not maintained. Not value for money

The showers would flood the bathroom so you couldn’t use it on full pressure. One key between 4 people was very difficult when we wanted to do different things. I understand it was expensive as it was the same time Taylor Swift was in Sydney but most definitely not worth the price

• Jeffrey (10/5): An updated, clean, city apartment with great location and access in Sydney CBD - This is a nice, updated apartment near the Hyde Park in Sydney. It is in a secure apartment building with easy keycard access. Everything in the CBD is accessible from here. It's about a 25 minute (or less) walk to any of the main Sydney attractions (The Rocks, Opera House, shopping districts, chinatown, Botanical Garden). The apartment is updated and clean. The balcony is nice to get some fresh air, but there is quite a bit of city noise if you leave the windows open. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is updated. There is a good washer/dryer in the unit. The host communicates well. Keys are in a lockbox for easy access. We would definitely stay here again. Relatively high price for this type of apartment, but on par with most urban areas. There are no dressers for clothing storage in the bedrooms, so we had our stuff piled on the floor. We did not have a car, but it seems parking is difficult in the area. There is considerable city noise at all times, but the windows block it well. You can see directly across into other apartments, so need to keep the blinds down for privacy (also a typical city issue).
• Sujit (9/5): excellent property in the heart of the city. - The location is perfect in the heart of the city with main attractions of sydney all at walking distance. Very close to public transport aswell. The property was clean and well maintained. It would have been great if the property had a parking of its own. If you dont hire a car then this is no big issue though. We had hired a car and parking the car during day and night was costly.

• Terry (10/5): Great location very tidy spacious apartment, excellent if you need to be in the middle of the city. - Friends of mine from Korea stayed at this apartment and the location was perfect. Very easy for them to navigate the city as everything was so close to the apartment. Family of 4 with 2 young children having Hyde park so close was a bonus. 2 bathrooms in apartment was also a bonus. Kitchen utensils supplied were all in good condition. Very spacious for a family of 4. Friends were impressed and could not be happier with the apartment. Maybe a couple of extra towels would have been good so guests staying for 9 days do not have to wash during there holidays.

• Robert (9/5): Great place in a great location, highly recommended! - The location was perfect, plenty to see and do within easy walking distance, and anything further could be reached via public transport which was a 3 minute walk away. The apartment was well sized and comfortable, and having two bathrooms was very handy with 5 people. Having washing and drying machines was also very handy, as we were able to clean up after messy kids, and avoid having to worry about packing overly dirty clothing. An apartment was a great option for a longer stay, as when we needed a quiet evening we had the space and facilities to not feel cooped up. Overall it was a great place to stay, and we'll definitely be looking for availability here next time we come to Sydney. The showers don't have doors, and the shower heads shoot water towards the far wall, where the opening is. This leads to a lot of water flooding the bathroom floors, and while there is drainage preventing flooding the apartment, it's still far from ideal and you'll generally end up with a saturated floor mat and some cleaning to do after everyone is done. The mitigation to this would be shower heads that can be aimed towards the floor, but unfortunately the ones installed cannot be angled down further than they are by default. We found the beds to be a little too firm for our tastes, and found we were often restless through the night and waking with sore necks, but this is rather subjective, so won't be an issue for others more used to a firmer setup.
