Guest Reviews
- BOUANICHE (9/5): All amenities included - The house was extremely well furnished and equipped. It was spotless and we felt at home right away! It sometimes did feel a little cold, in spite of the heaters (which did not work everywhere, for some reason...)

- Rachel (5/5): Pretty awful and I’d like to be able to add more photos that show why. - Clean sheets and towels Where do I start? On arrival at this ‘Charming House in Dublin’, we walked in to a house that is sadly lacking in care and attention. Much of the decor is old and poorly maintained although we could put up with that. The things we found most upsetting were the fact that the ‘professional cleaning’ was poor at best with a number of dirty plates and mugs and a drawer full of dirty cutlery in the kitchen (see photos). I had to wash it all before we could use it.
The kitchen units have doors that don’t close, the freezer has a broken drawer (just left there) and only one of the two ovens worked. The radiator cover under the window was broken and one kitchen drawer was filled with odds and ends and rubbish, as if the owner had just left and not bothered emptying it (see photos).
There is one bathroom, downstairs at the end of the hall which smelt damp (helped by keeping that radiator on) and one en-suite, reached by going through one of the second floor bedrooms. There is not a bathroom on the first floor where two of the bedrooms are situated.
The downstairs bathroom had a broken wooden toilet seat (completely spilt!!) no plug and no flush handle (see photos).
The bath was fine apart from the dirty rings under the bath salts bottle and a half empty shower gel sample but the shower had mould, as did the one in the attic en-suite. There was no plug in the upstairs sink either.
There were old plastic tables left in the bedrooms, as if no one could be bothered to move them out and other junk such as old gym equipment piled up behind the hall stairs (see photos), a mirror randomly left in the dining area, together with two televisions, one of which didn’t work, a couple of clothes rails in the hall and bedroom and a rusty BBQ outside, which needs to go in a skip. There were only 2 garden chairs when there were 5 of us - although there are actually 3 beds in each bedroom, so I’m assuming the house might be advertised as sleeping up to 12!!
