- Smudger19 (2/5): Good location, but management and cleanliness not up to scratch. - Good location on seafront and close to the restaurants of Jetty Road. The management was disorganized and inefficient. They required a $200 damage bond but their payment system did not work and rejected all of my cards. They then suggested I pay by bank transfer, but before they sent the details I had to waste time on a phone call while they tried again to pay with my cards, all of which were rejected by their system.
Eventually I managed to pay the deposit by bank transfer but then had to send a number of emails and have a phone conversation before receiving the check in instructions.
Cleanliness was a major issue. On two of the beds, the linen had not been changed and was dirty, smelly and stained. The manager didn't want to do anything about it but eventually acceded to our request to deliver some clean linen the next day. The surfaces in the unit were all very dusty and gritty and appeared not to have been cleaned properly for some time.
