- Farzana (1/5): BED BUGS EVERYWHERE - ROOM 6 - Nothing. Firstly, the host is terrible with communication, didn’t bother giving us check in details until an hour later (past check in time). This apartment was filthy, the floors were dirty, full of crumbs and sticky to walk on! We had to purchase cleaning products to clean it ourselves! We stayed in apartment 6 and had to leave at 3AM because of the Health and Safety Concerns. The window is broken and covered with faeces, the entrance is in an alleyway and a fish shop is downstairs emitting the worst odours into the bedroom. The fan in the apartment is broken and does not work and a broken lamp is kept in the room. The worst part is, the bed has BED BUGS. All over, underneath, on top, all over the beddings, headboard and mattress. It was horrendous, we had to leave due the reaction caused by the bed bug bites! The bed bugs are not limited to the bed, they are on the walls, door frame, near the towel rail, toilet etc. (we have had to send a complaint to booking.com with all the evidence!) The host did not bother replying, he will probably say he gave us complimentary late check out (no point because we did not stay) and that he had given us the check in details via email (he did not!) This host has no care for his customers, the cleanliness or a bother in the world for his properties. Luckily, booking.com offered us a refund as the host was not responding.
