Guest Reviews

- Anna (4/5): A poor choice to stay until the main bed's mattress and the electrical socket have been replaced - The location is very nice and it is in a quiet area. There is external maintenance work going on currently, which we were aware of, and it did not bother us. Getting access was easy, the Wi-Fi was good and the apartment was clean. The kitchen is good and well equipped. The double bed in the main bedroom was shockingly bad. It was such a poor mattress that collapsed and wobbled around like an old-style waterbed or trampoline when two people were in the bed. Unusable for a couple. The spare room has two bunk beds which are not very long, so sleeping in there was not an option for me - I ended up on the couch, which was also a little short, so sleeping (the single most important thing in rented accommodation) was not good at all.
There is also electrical maintenance that needs doing - one of the socket outlets in the main bedroom is hanging out of the wall, potentially exposing live wires. It is still in use with an extension cord connecting the bedside lamp.
I messaged the host to report both these issues and they came back with a message that discussed checkout and completely ignored the feedback (with photo) that I had sent. I got the impression it was an automated reply, hence this detailed description of the issues as the host may not have read my message.
One final remark on the bathroom; the shower is very small and its sliding doors have a tendency to open themselves mid-shower.
- Omer (3/5): Disappointed, will never stay again - The location was nice The apartment was located in an old building. The door lock was really hard to open and used to take us a lot of time to open the door. There was some kind of construction going on in the building which used to start early in the morning which made it really uncomfortable and noisy. Lastly there were no air conditioning which made it really hard specially where there’s a heatwave going on. And the bed sheets were really dirty got allergy on my whole body. Not recommended at all.
- Mandy (9/5): Superb - Short walk from tube station. Quiet location.
- Andrei (1/5): The whole building was under renevation with workers right in front of the windows. - The whole building was under renevation with workers right in front of the windows. This was never mentioned by the host.
