Guest Reviews
- emily (9/5): - Very spacious house in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. We were not an aware when we booked that there is a separate basement property within the house. The photos and description on Booking.com suggest it is an entire house. We only knew about the basement apartment when we had the check in instructions a few days prior to our stay (when we were told where to park and informed about the door to the basement not to be used). Other guests staying in the basement were not excessively loud but we did hear them on multiple occasions (and I’m sure they heard us) and could smell when they were cooking etc. It wasn’t overly intrusive but we did believe when we booked that we had a private house to ourselves.
As we were staying for more than a couple of days we would have appreciated more cleaning products and definitely a vacuum cleaner (the sweeping brush in the cupboard was not in a fit state to be used).

- Mario (10/5): Great value for an excellent property. - Property was very clean, comfortable beds and had all the amenities necessary.
Our host, David, was excellent in communicating and answering all questions we had.
- Yuk Kam (9/5): - Very spacious and comfortable house with many bed- and bathrooms and sitting areas. All amenities were present to make for a pleasant stay!
- Angela (8/5): the house was warm and welcoming - the location for us was great
it had everything we needed for cooking and comfort
lots of space for kids and adults to separate for visiting was not told that we could not park on the road and ended up with parking tickets for the first night
there weas no baking sheet for the oven
- Marr (10/5): Everything was perfect! -
- Mercedes (10/5): Great stay! Very spacious and great value for the location! - I loved the close proximity to my family and all amenities. It’s close to the beach though we didn’t get to enjoy that this trip. I loved the big rooms and spacious living areas. Backyard is cute and the house is in a good neighborhood. House is clean and was stocked with everything we needed. David a great host! We will be back.
- Criscale (10/5): Exceptional - It's very clean and family house

- Robert (10/5): This place made the trip very enjoyable - Nice place Nothing we didn’t like
- Dyan (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, fully stocked, owners easy to talk to. Good getaway and comfy place for family with kids. Liked that no pets allowed as my son has allergies. The living rooms were huge lots of hang out and chill time with family! Love the huge TV at living room adjacent to the open kitchen too! Kids get to play and dance while adults cooked and prepared meals.
- Maclennan (8/5): Very good -
- Corinne (10/5): Exceptional - Bed were
comfy and the house was spotless!
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - We were at a 4 day training course at Gilford Hall which was super close and we all were grateful for that. Quiet street close to everything we needed including shopping. Beds were nice. The thermostat had a pre-programmed schedule which everyone was complaining about and waking up very hot in the night because the AC wasn't coming on till the house temperature hit 26c and switched itself off frequently. It took us a while to figure out that was what was happening.
There was a plastic film on the tv that was from the original factory out of box plus what appeared to be additional plastic wrapping over the tv and the whole tv appearance was difficult to see because of the plastic film on the tv
The sofas and some of the chairs had material covering the furniture that looked like curtains Drapes over the furniture. Unfortunately a few people in our group were offended wondering why the owners didn't want us to use the furniture. Which was weird and offensive.
There was a very small amount of cutlery not a full set and we had only 1 fork for each person (6) for the day for example. We were not able to have a full course without using the dishwasher because there was no dish soapl. Not enough teaspoons or tablespoons. There weren't enough bowls for the 6 people only 4 bowls. No other options. We made soups and salads which made it difficult. The cups provided were very small tea cups there were no mugs at all. The kitchen needed a lot more items like a strainer, cheese grater, pairing smaller knives for preparing food, cutting board, there was a lot of empty cupboards, no dish soap.only dishwasher soap, not enough pots 2, tim Hortons coffee tin was empty, No cutting board. The toaster is broken only toasting on one side. There was only 1 pillow per person and they were horrible because they lacked filling everyone had sore necks from the lack of filling pillows seemed to be for kids.
Non slip safety trends should be put on the stairs
