Guest Reviews
- Paul (1/5): Filthy, unsafe, and hostile staff – Avoid at All Costs!" - Nothing The apartment was filthy on arrival: the foldout couch was stained and had someone else's hair on it, used toiletries were left in the bathroom, the floors were dirty, the tabletops were stained, and the cutlery was unclean. When we complained, the owners blamed us for not following their check-in procedures—an absurd excuse for the disgusting state of the property. They refused a refund, instead sending an old video claiming it had been cleaned, even though the footage didn’t match the condition we found (more marks on the floor, and we were already inside surrounded by filth).
To make matters worse, they monitored us through an undisclosed CCTV camera aimed at the door and seemed to come and go from the apartment as they pleased. The maintenance man entered the apartment without our permission while we were away, without even checking if it was okay. Everything was falling apart – the heater, shower stand, and door knobs all broke, and when the door nob was fixed, I was stuck inside the bathroom for an hour due to the poor quality works.
This was by far the worst experience imaginable – avoid this place at all costs!
- Shirajul (7/5): Good -
- Lenard (8/5): I would be happy to stay here again. - Fabulous location - easy to get to anywhere in the city. SoHo, Oxford St shopping, theatres, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden all a short walk away. Apartment pretty modern and clean and kitchen very well equipped. Plenty of space for a couple. Good restaurants and great historical CAMRA pubs nearby. TV/internet connection was very spotty most of the week we stayed. Relied on my phone data plan most of the time. TV in bedroom would not turn on - might have been dead remote control batteries.
- Hoi (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, friendly band helpful staffs, functional facilities
- Saadoon (4/5): Disappointing - The position of the flat Crowded flat ,not clean
Windows broken.
- R (5/5): Avoid - The flat is was clean, warm and furnished as pictured. The “Airbnb guys” who manage the property make it compulsory that you to log into a private spammy-looking booking site, which has no cookies policy. This is NOT disclosed before booking. I wasn’t happy and although nearly a month away from my booking date, management would not refund me and were very rude about it.
The flat has “smart” code locks to the front and flat door. I don’t find this safe and as a solo female, I was kept up at night wondering how many people knew the code and who was watching behind my shoulder on the busy street. There were several homeless and drunken people at night that were banging around the doorway. I barely slept. I do NOT recommend this listing! I have been a regular user of Booking.com for many years, yet this experience has put me off.
- Tinnyb76 (8/5): Great place and area, be mindful of noise on weekends - Location was good. Easy access. Comfy and warm. Good kitchen facilities. Loved the complimentary water and goodies! The noise was insane on Friday and Saturday night. Cars tooting, people yahooing, music, until 3am. The shower and vanity sink didn't drain away quickly when showering. No drying rack for clothes. Stairs smelt badly.
- 栢嘉 (9/5): Superb - Location Nothing
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Ann (10/5): Excellent accom, highly recommend - Excellent accomodation. I would highly recommend to stay here. Very spacious apartment. The fold out sofa bed was ideal, very comfortable and very easy to fold away by day so we could use the couch. Ideal location to west end shows, oxford street for shopping and for tube access N/A
