• Kim (10/5): Delightful apartment well-placed in the city - Lovely apartment - central location right next to St Peter’s. Beautiful living space and comfortable bedroom. Quiet. The only thing is that right now the lower floor (at entry) had some minor construction- it did not disturb the apartment but was a little odd coming in and out.

• giuseppe (10/5): Best place and best host ever met!! - We’ve booked an apartment where we use to spend our frequent visits to zurich… at the arrival Fiorenzo informed on the availability of a fantastic penthouse as a free alternative to the aprtment we coosed. Dispite the price (almost triple of the one we booked) an in addition to the upgrade proposed he allowed the late chack out and the possibility to host an additional friend for free! What else to say?? We’ve enjoyed our permanence and we’ll be back soon!! Nothing

• Ruben (10/5): Perfect stay - Perfect reception by Fiorenzo in this spacious apartment with a great kitchen and perfect location. The rooms were large and felt authentic and comfortable while being in the absolute center of the city. We can only recommend this location to fellow travelers (and families) looking for a nice spot to stay in Zurich. We will gladly book here again. As already mentioned, this is an old house with maybe not the best sound and thermal isolation, if that bothers you then look elsewhere. Some minor construction work ongoing in the house but nothing that bothered us.

• Shamala (8/5): Location was great to get around and a treat to stay in a historic apartment. - Location was great, right in the heart of old town. Beautiful apartment with large kitchen and cosy living room. Master bedroom was comfortable and so were the sofa beds that could accomodate the kids. If you're carrying several pieces of luggage, you've got to walk up flights of stairs. Not for those with climbing issues. You're next to a church so you'll hear constant bells, and not far off, another church, so more bells. You can't really sleep in. Master bedroom is next to a restaurant, on weekends, people stand on the streets to smoke and chat. The noise can be heard.

• Rachael (10/5): Absolutely fabulous. Any help you need, Fiorenzo was very quick to respond. Excellent customer service. - Character. Location. Interior design. Attention to detail. At first it was the ‘two bathrooms’ which was actually a seperate toilet and one bathroom that we thought would pose a problem. However, within a few hours of settling in, we didn’t even notice it. The two seperate facilities worked fine- we were a family of four with two young adult ‘children’. This isn’t really a ‘dislike’ merely an observation.

• Eden C (8/5): It was nice and BAD experience for us!! - It was nice, clean, & smelled good The one listed in Booking.com it said the number 7 on the address and that there’s an elevator but in reality it was number 5 and the Apt was on the 3rd floor! We are (4people) all seniors that had to go up the stairs with our luggages up to the 3rd floor and in the rain we were looking for #7! The person close to the apartment said that it was always a problem looking for the Apt; that people were confused finding the place!!! 😡😡😡

• Sari (9/5): - The location was perfect. 10 +! A beautiful old house. The apartment is for four people, but the sofas are not ideal for sleeping. They might be suitable for small children, but not for adults or teenagers, as they are not long enough for anyone over 175 cm tall. You can't stretch your legs. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable. There could have been more dishes in the kitchen, as well as more toilet paper. The apartment is next to the church, and the church bells ring 24/7. It's a good idea to bring earplugs.

• Azam (9/5): A beautiful apartment symbolizing traditional Zurich ! - Ideally located in the heart of Old Town Zurich, 5-7 minutes walk from Zurich main station. Everything is within a walking distance, 2 minutes away from Bahnhofstrasse. Beautiful apartment on the second floor, no elevators as it is in a really old building next to the church. Neat and clean ! Loved the stay. Cooking utensils can be enhanced. Will definitely come again !! Gives you real vibes of Zurich !! As we cooked dinner and breakfast, the apartment could do with more kitchen utensils, crockery, serving spoons and serving dishes could be further added.

The host was so accommodating and let us checkin early with our two babies after a long flight. He had a crib setup ready for us and waters in the fridge. We stayed during a weekend and it was very loud at night. We could have used some earplugs or a warning. During the week it was fine.

Well equipped, comfortable and clean. Great location but close to Europes biggest clock face so if you’re not good at blocking out bell chimes maybe not the place for you. Winter isn’t so bad but summer with the windows open might be a bit loud.

• Krista (9/5): Authentic Old City apartment with modern amenities, pack light due to steep set of stairs - The property is just as lovely as advertised. The living room view over St Stephen's church was out of a story book. The snow made it even more magical. The location is great, short walk to the tram stop and Christmas market. The modern kitchen and bath were spotless. It had a huge shower and separate toilet area. The bed was comfortable with feather pillows and duvet. Be aware that there are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment. A challenge with large suitcases since they are narrow and uneven steps. There was also an automatic overhead light in the hallway between bath and bedroom. Nice when your hands are full but too bright in the middle for night trips to bathroom. There are also uneven thresholds, so watch your step between rooms. The biggest challenge was noise from bar next door. Smokers stood outside and talked loudly late into Friday and Saturday night. A fan was provided for background noise, but light sleepers should be aware. It was quieter on Sunday night. Note: Uber cannot meet you within old city. We had to walk about a block to catch our ride.
• Jennifer (10/5): If you are looking for a place to stay in Zurich - this is it! Don’t hesitate. - Perfect for a family of 4! We were surprised at how spacious the apartment was. We had everything we needed for a few night stay. The location in Old Town is exceptional for sightseeing and exploring and the communication with the owner is FABULOUS. She really made sure we were taken care of and had what we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

And so ideally located in the old town There was everything we needed, although some shower products would have been nice, shampoo, shower gel, etc
• Christopher (10/5): Lovely short trip - This was our second stay at the property. Betina messaged before we arrived and so we could collect the key on arrival. The apartment is very spacious, clean and well appointed. It is perfect for a stay in the centre of Zurich, and Betina is very helpful and attentive. We love the sound of the church bells at 7pm and 7am, though may not be to everyone's taste! I can't think of any improvements.

An historical building decorated with a modern twist. Everything provided , good hair dryer , dish washer & tablets, WiFi, TV with Netflix., great shower. No air con for warm nights, but fans provided.
• Karen (9/5): Overall we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again during the cooler months. - The property is in a fantastic location and was very spacious. It was good value when compared to getting 2 hotel rooms in that area. It was well stocked with things we would need during our stay. Communication was clear and prompt. Loved the energy of the area and the chiming of the bells! We knew going into the stay that there wasn’t any AC and it was unseasonably hot. It was rather noisy on the weekends from the restaurants and bars in the area and we needed to have the windows open to attempt to cool the bedroom down. After a few nights I ended up sleeping in the living room on a very comfortable sofa bed and it was PERFECT! Way better air flow. Ear plugs, eye mask and white noise from the fan did the trick. They mentioned doing some black out blinds and I think this would help a lot keeping the heat out during the day and in the cooler months to block out the street light and for some privacy. Note to self…there are 2 long flights of stairs and no lift so I will pack lighter next time.

• Oksana (10/5): It means a lot when you say you want to come back and stay at Goethe House again! - The apartment is located in the beautiful part of the Old Town! The location is prime!!! It is close to everything you want to see/explore and need (like shopping). The house is also called Goethe House because, yes, you guessed it- Goethe lived there! It’s absolutely amazing to connect to historic figure or events in such a way! There is nothing that I didn’t like about the property! The apartment is clean and very nice. It has a full kitchen. The hostess is very kind and accommodating. I am glad we reserved Goethe House and hope we will be coming back!

• Christopher (10/5): We were in Zurich for a week and the quality of the apartment made our stay. - The apartment is very well located for the old town. It is very spacious, light and well equipped and furnished. We found it surprisingly quiet in terms of street noise - we loved listening to the church bells during the day, and did not hear them during the night. Betina is very welcoming and attentive and immediately helped with the few things we asked for. And our dog thought she was amazing! The apartment is very well equipped for a light meal but understandably is limited in terms of cooking equipment. We borrowed an extra pan from Betina so it wasn't a problem though.

• Kiat (9/5): Superb location. Fantastic value. - The apartment was spacious. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. The sofa beds were comfortable too. Plenty of sunlight throughout the day. Although the property is surrounded by shops and people, it was still quiet and peaceful at night with the windows closed. The sound of the clock can be heard hourly but it is not too disturbing. For us, it was difficult to find the property. We found '7 Glockengaase' on the main path (with shops on either side) but initially there did not appear to be a door for entry. We went through a narrow alleyway to the other side and found a door with '5' written above and to the right of the door. I did not know that this was the door to the apartment (which is two flights of stairs up from the ground floor). We did not have a local SIM card on my phone so was not aware that the host had already contacted me earlier on that day via Booking.com. The people working in the shops were kind. They went out of their way to help me find 'Goethe House'. But they did not know where the main door was. Finally, a young man in 8 Glockengaase phoned the host on my behalf and the host finally met us outside the 'Tiki bar' to give us the keys. If you book this accommodation (very much recommended), I recommend that you contact the host beforehand so that you can agree on the time for collecting the keys.

It is very spacious and located at the heart of the old town, surrounded by shops, restaurants, clubs, supermarkets and historic buildings. The apartment has old windows due to which you can hear noises from the outside. If u have problems with sleeping the noise u hear from outside can be a challenge. Otherwise the apartment is lovely.

• Phiroze (9/5): Comfortable and well equipped apartment with an excellent location - Very comfortable apartment. We spent only one night there, but it was well equipped. And very centrally located within walking distance of most attractions. Betina was there to greet us on arrival. She was also incredibly helpful with tips on what to do, where to eat etc. I would highly recommend this apartment, and look forward to staying here on our next trip - which will hopefully be a longer stay.
• Kc (7/5): Fab location near all the quaint streets for photo opportunities - Great location, walking distance from Rathaus tram station. Betina was lovely showing us around the facilities. The apartment was well appointed with new appliances and furniture - well heated as it got cold outside. Walking distance to the main shopping areas. This comment is minor but some items were missing (milk, tea and dish soap) but Betina was extremely efficient to bring quickly. It would have been helpful to have hair conditioner supplied also (there were sachets of shampoo).

Close to shops, restaurants, bars and a lot of grocery stores. Excellent cleaning and confort of the appartment. Beautifully decorated and cozy...and very spacious. The appartment was equipped with everything we needed. And now, special thanks to Betina, our amazing host. Kind and friendly, she made sure we had a lovely experience by staying in her property. If we will be visting Zürich again, we will definetely choose your appartment again. We highly recommend this place! Nothing to mention.

The bed is super comfy and the convertible sofas are okay too. Great host :) No curtains to avoid the light to enter (I loved it but might be annoying)
• Yudi (10/5): Best Zurich house stay experience! Right in the heart of Lindenhof. - The place is well decorated, we loved the charming wooden floor and wall. The beds are very comfy. At night, we enjoyed Netflix on the ultra big screen. It is one of the best hotel stay experience so far. The host is very lovely. We felt sorry for changing the checkin time a few times but she is very accommodating.
