• Rebekah (10/5): - The apartment was really lovely and comfortable! I had a wonderful time. Not an issue for me but fair warning to others - the stairs are very tall and narrow. There is no lift either. Just in case anyone is looking at accessibility requirements.

• Charlotte (7/5): - Für uns war die Lage ideal. Parkplatz hatten wir direkt vorm Haus. Die Bettwäsche war sehr dünn! Die Dusche im Bad ist beim ersten Duschen übergelaufen, was aber direkt wieder behoben wurde. Der Heizkörper im Bad wurde leider nicht warm.

• Ines (6/5): - Ładne mieszkanie, piękna drewniana konstrukcja poddasza, duże wygodne łóżko Bardzo mała i krótka kołdra, co sprawiło że zmarzliśmy w nocy. W kuchni nie ma oleju, cukru… Wszędzie pełno kurzu.

• Christa (5/5): - Die Lage die Ruhe stilvolle Wohnung Der Vermieter interessiert sich nicht, ob sich die Mieter wohl fühlen. Fragen an den Vermieter blieben von ihm vor der Ankunft unbeantwortet. Die Baselcard bekam ich erst am 2.Tag. (am 1.Tag war ich im Tingueli Museum und den Fahrschein bezahlte ich auch selber). Die Wohnung war schön, aber zu kalt. Antwort auf Nachfrage: "Ich könne den Heizstab unter der Dachschräge einschalten!" Wie - hab ich nicht herausgefunden. kein Haare waschen - es war zu kalt. Wusste auch nicht, wie die Herdplatte einzuschalten - kein warmes Essen. Kein Geschitttuch.

• Giuseppe (7/5): - Posizione eccellente ed appartamento moderno. Molto spazio e buona comodità. Porta del bagno non si chiude completamente, mancava l'asciugacapelli. Sarebbe utile avere anche lo shampoo ed il tappeto per la doccia. Infine lo scarico della doccia accumula acqua e non scarica velocemente.

• Josef (8/5): - Basel The photos in the listing clearly illustrate the apartment in a recently renovated house. It's quiet and comfortable, although the first encounter with the sloping wall may feel painful 🤕/😁. The large Velux windows automatically close in response to rain. We don't know what happens with the ventilation during prolonged rains - it can get stuffy. The kitchenette is well-equipped. There's a pleasant, separate relaxation area. The stairs to the third floor are quite narrow, so with heavy luggage, it can be a bit tiring. After leaving the house with your back to it, turn left and walk 10 minutes to an inexpensive DENNER supermarket. Again, on leaving the house turn right just behind the next building and take the stairs down leading to the pedestrian route into the city (after about 30 minutes you reach the edge of the Old Town). Getting around Basel is a pleasure as all tourists receive a free Baselcard for all public transport, plus a 50% discount at many cultural sites. Tram no. 3 stop is a 5-minute walk away. To become a happy Baselcard holder as soon as possible, leave your city tax at the location indicated by your host. Also, study the Wi-Fi password very carefully (strong signal) - it's sneaky 😁. The host is always online 👍🏻 to assist you.

• Justyna (5/5): - Style of the apartment was ok. The internet was ok. Lack of parking for the car on the street, cleanliness of the room was so so (there was a dust on the floor), there was no possibility to plug in EU plug so I couldn't work on a computer and charge my phone and the worst thing was that the shower walk-in wasn't absorbing water (the water didn't flow into the sewer).

• Catriona (8/5): I would be happy to stay again, excellent value for money. - The apartment was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The sky light gave lots of natural day light. You had to climb 3 flights of narrow stairs. Communicating with the host was difficult which led to confusion.

• Suomalainen (9/5): A great stay, would recommend for everyone! - Check-in was effortless and the apartment had everything we needed! The location was absolutely gorgeous, we fell in love with Birsfelden! Slight smell of cigarettes in the hallway and in the bathroom (probably because of ventilation in the bathroom), the underside of the bed hadn’t been vacuumed (but we did book on a very short notice and there was nothing else to complain about)

It’s on the top floor of the building, 3rd floor with only stairs. If you travel with pet or with a big luggage, just keep this in mind. For us we managed it, it wasn’t a real minus.

A pleasant short walk to St. Jakob's Halle and the FC Basel stadium along the river was lovely. There was nothing I didn't like. It was spot on in every department. Clean, tidy, stylish, comfortable and cosy.

• Eugene (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy awesome apartment in the middle of Basel. Super clean, calm, and perfect for one or two people. You can get everything you need, and the host is really helpful. If you want a comfy place right in the middle of things in Basel, I totally recommend it!

Perfect stay for a couple for a quick visit to Basel. Owners were very responsive and communication was excellent. 15 mins drive to the center, but all things needed (e.g. shops, restaurants, etc) can be found nearby.

• Ruud (9/5): Modern, new and clean appartment - Modern clean appartment. Lot of attention to detail. Appartment really warm on hot summer days (located 3rd floor directly under the roof). The airconditioner is actually a noisy mobile unit. It is better to open the windows.

• Riccardo (10/5): Great stay 10 mins from the city ! - Brand new place, with a portable AC in the hottest days of the season so far: a real bless! THe place was spotless and the communication with Matija excellent. It would be great to have the 4 CHF be twinted or added directly in the cost of the booking. Finding coins these days isn't easier anymore.
