• Matthews (10/5): We were very relaxed. Every night I sat on the deck listening to the waves and looking at the stars - The location was excellent. You need to have a bit of fitness to walk to town so we didn't do that but we walked to the Wharf and Bar Beach. The view was magnificant. We ran out of toilet paper. Only two rolls were provided. And no Tissues. I suffer from hayfever so need more than most.

• Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - This place is really special. Everything about it was wonderful. The views are stunning. The location is excellent. It’s huge. It’s clean and tidy. It’s low key luxury in every way. It has a butler’s pantry. The photos hardly do it justice. Staying here makes me pretty determined to save up and get a place like this myself. Also the rules are pretty reasonable about cleaning up. Just leave the kitchen as you found it and they do the vacuuming, bathrooms, beds etc. That’s sensible. Linen was provided — also it was high quality linen. The plates and cutlery are also high quality. Everything about it makes you really want to look after the place. It’s hard to even think of what I didn’t like! Maybe some more guidance on the knife and fork draw situations since I think we inadvertently transferred some cutlery between the kitchen and the pantry… but that’s hardly a complaint.

• Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - The views were beautiful! Sitting on the covered deck was so nice. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. I liked the generous furnishings and pretty decor. The location near Merimbula Wharf is less congested than the main part of town and more peaceful. We recommend Bar Beach (short walk) and the kiosk there for a nice breakfast and good coffee right on the beach. The real estate agent and the owner were very helpful.
