• Brihony (8/5): Friendly Staff - Great size apartment very spacious. Lounge was comfy. Fridge was spacious and clean. Good location , not too far to walk in Surfers and tram stops right I outside. Views from all sides of the apartment. I felt the cleanliness was a little disappointing, I had to wash 3 coffee cups straight from the cupboard as they were clearly just wiped over not cleaned. The splash back behind the stove had food splashed all over it. The main bathroom is very tired and the water seal all around the bottom of the shower door needs replacing, it is beyond cleaning and mouldy. The sliding doors and windows accessible were very grimy and had not been cleaned on this occasion which was a little disappointing. The main resort looked tired too and needed a good gurnie on the outside.Staff looking after our booking were very helpful, speedy responses and friendly via email. Overall our stay wasn't too bad for what we needed.
• Greg (10/5): Quality room, amazing price, exquisite facilities. - Buffet breakfast was amazing. Theme of hotel was brilliant. Bang for your buck for the room was insanely good. Overall, hidden gem of the area. Location is slightly further away from the main areas than other accommodations but that’s no issue really.
• Celia (3/5): Terrible management, never use this host - The location of the property was good, I would recommend staying at the actual Sun City Resort, not with this management company. There was no way to contact anyone on site in the same city. All communication was through a call centre. The door to the room malfunctioned and we were locked out of our room for almost eleven hours. We were given empty promises that the door was fixed, when it was not. This was a very difficult situation with two young children, thank god we had our car keys with us when it happened. We would never stay with this host again. We were subsequently instructed that internal fire doors needed to be wedged open during our entire stay to ensure we didn't get locked out again.

• kelly (8/5): clean and tidy apartment, close to surfers paradise and public transport. - The room was clean and tidy; the resort was a very easy walk to Surfers Paradise, and the tram station was directly next to the resort, which made it very convenient if you weren't up for walking. the staff at the resort desk couldn't help us with anything because a different entity ran the apartment we were renting, which was a real pain. When we did ask for help, the receptionist said she couldn't help and then asked if we had been given any paperwork on the apartment, and we hadn't, so she was like Sorry, can't help. so maybe an information booklet given to guests would be an idea.

A very spacious apartment and comfortable space. Already planning a trip back! Found the place to pick up keys hard to locate with not very obvious signage. Would love for pickup to be closer to the actual hotel as it was in the opposite direction from where we were coming from and a 25min drive back to the unit with heavy traffic through Surfers. But overall, we loved our stay!
• Leanne (9/5): Great location, lots of pool fun and beautiful, comfortable apartment! - Loved everything about this apartment! It's enormous with really comfortable furnishings. The sofa bed is also comfortable. Has everything...lifts are super fast...pool area is fantastic...Kids loved the slides. Tram stop right outside gate...5mins into Cavill. Views of beach in between the buildings. Air con in every room. The apartment was also very clean. TV in every room and the lounge tv was enormous. Great place for families where you hope your kid will meet other kids in the pool to play with. A car park was included but there's a Pripark run car park in the vacant lot directly over the road for additional vehicles which was $8 per 12hrs. Reception told us you couldnt park vehicles in the visitor parks overnight so we didnt want to risk it. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was like an ice bath even in the blaring sun but they have heated options as well so it really didnt matter. The slides are cool but are a bit rough so not for the faint hearted. They are super fast and the big one really throws them around. There were a couple of head knocks in that one and sore backs from scratching...recommend a rashie. Adults are not allowed on the big one. My son still loved it though and wants to come back.

• Jamie (2/5): Underwhelming. - Close to the G - Tram. Great pool area. Don’t be deceived by photos. There is a new building going up in front of the mantra so rather than a beautiful view, not only do you get views of the construction site six days a week, but also the loud and insistent movie of construction coupled with the street - many a car, many a loud engine late into the night. The apartment itself, lacking soundproofing, could also do with a bit of an upgrade. The bathroom is quite dated, switches are coming away from the wall, and the towels are very small. Key pick up is also not especially convenient, off site down another highway so if you’re not driving, you’re either paying a driver to wait or lugging suitcases. It’s also the expectation the key is dropped back on departure which is not ideal on a 6am flight.

• Louise (8/5): Great family place would stay again. - Excellent location and facilities. Used the 50c tram to go to surfers often it was a couple minutes walk. Nice pool and play area. Awesome views. Nice balcony the baby loved the apartment too great space giant TV. Theme of the resort is fun too. Shower needs updating the stream from the head is harsh. Also had to get the indoor key card fixed because it would open the doors we were locked out for a bit. Had to sort it with hotel staff but gc management gave accurate instructions on what to do. Staff were very friendly.

Key collection was a bit inconvenient as it was so far away from the property. And there was a bit of a funky smell from the laundry, but nothing to complain about just a minor inconvenience.

Location was perfect, a 10min walk into Cavill Avenue. Facilities were lovely with multiple pools available, and a life guard on duty throughout the day.l

Little shop and bottlo just across the road was also a bonus, no need to go to big supermarket. Remote pick up of keys was inconvienient but not a problem. furniture and kitchen showing its age. Beach/swim towels would have been nice.

• Peter (9/5): we travel a lot and this place is brilliant for a family stay - huge apartment with good quality furnishings. carpet in the lounge/dining area is a real bonus, I’m not keen on wall to wall tiles better than normal cookware and heaps of crockery,cutlery and glassware which is unusual in these apartments. free parking and FIVE POOLS for the grandchildren a bit of traffic noise but that is to be expected here. take earplugs and you’ll be fine, I was.

• Rhonda (9/5): Breathtaking views and ample space. - The size of the apartment is just amazing especially with a family of four. Spa bath, fantastic, views are breathtaking with so many balconies. Plush, comfy lounge, all the amenities you would expect in an apartment. Would definitely stay again. I don’t like the fact that only 2 days prior to checking in, we received an email with instructions and information to say only enough toilet paper, dishwashing and laundry detergent for one night only. Surely enough can be supplied for the week. So because of that we did pack all of this, which we travelled here from Perth for a Wedding and had to pack loo paper and detergents which really is something you don’t want to carry in your luggage. We used a spare blanket from the cupboard for the lounge & it had a massive blood stain on it, not nice.
• Gracie (9/5): Reasonably priced, great position, family friendly, really well sized - We loved it here, the facilities were great, it was quiet and centrally located and just a street away from the beach and the tram out the front. Could have been a touch cleaner in the wet areas
• Lauren (6/5): First and potentially last booking through GCHS - Have stayed before booking direct through Mantra no issues. Knew facilities available prior to booking to booking. Room not available at time requested. When ready and we arrive led rooms were not set up as per booking. Had to call and advised housekeeping not provided notes had to wait a further day for this to be corrected and then they changed bedding in wrong room. At this point we gave up. Kitchen was also extremely dirty and lot gold grime on benches and backsplash and fridge smelt of off fish. Hence to state we ate out most of our stay which was disappointing. Come third day had some lady just enter our room? Not sure where they were from as when she saw we were in room quickly left. Made me feel uneasy that people could just enter when they felt like it?

• Dannielle (5/5): Great location and place just a few annoying things - The location of the place was a short walk to the main strip, the view was stunning. However they were building two huge towers that will effect the view of the beach. The apartment is very spacious. having to collect the key from an off site realestate, that is not easy to access and is about 8 mins away from were you are staying. GHC was not accommodating only give you two towels between 3 of us, and expected us wash them between showers or swims, however the watching machine broke, when we called they advised us to hand wash the towels untill someone can come out and fix it the following day or 2, then advised we can go collect more towels at a fee. paying to go and get more towels when they should provide it is stupid.
• Ayesha (9/5): Amazing View!! - The view was exceptional. The rooms are very spacious. Large TV and comfy couch as well. Location is convenient, close to shops/restaurants. Slight weird smell from the kitchen, maybe because cabinets are quite old. But otherwise very clean.

The indoor pool was closed the entire time we were there, inconvenience needing to collect and drop off keys from a different location & we booked saying we were travelling with two children yet they didn’t split king bed into two singles and this was going to cost us extra when I contacted management whilst away.

• Pradip (6/5): Excellent views from a large apartment and zero service. - The size of the property. Huge hall facing the sea and two decent size bedrooms with kitchen and two bathrooms. There’s no service. We stayed for four days and there’s no service of any kind. No cleaning , no changing towels and you clear your own trash. We were told this is a no service apartment in a letter only after we checked in. Moreover you have to pick up your key from a different location and drop off there too. It’s a hassle.

Location is north side of Cavill Avenue and a leisurely stroll along the waterfront gets you there is no time. Future stays will have no beach view as there’s a 77 storey building going up in front.
