We enjoyed a fabulous holiday at Best E Villas, Prospect. - Errol had arranged the taxi (Marc) to pick us up from the airport - very clear signage appreciated and essential groceries for our late arrival on a Sunday. Apt 3 is spacious with good AC in lounge and bedrooms. Pleasant to sit outside - daytime occasionally saw monkeys passing by and evenings listening to the frogs 'singing'. Great location: short walk to the beautiful Batts Rock beach. Bus stops close by for easy travel north to Holetown and Speighstown, south to Bridgetown. No negative comments to make.
• Faye (10/5): Better than a hotel, you feel like you’re home. - Best E Villas is one of the best properties we have ver stayed at while we are in Barbados. The location is quiet and private yet big and spacious for entertaining. When you hear you’re getting a two bedroom villa that also includes a LARGE living room spacious, kitchen with all your cooking needs and an onsite laundry facility. The upstairs rooms are cool with the A/C and have plenty of cupboard space to hold your clothing. My baby climbed his first set of stairs here all on his own! So now this place has a special place in my heart! The availability of transportation and the beach only being a 5 minute walk away with a gas station also nearby makes things very very very easy if you’re missing anything. Don’t miss out in booking this place it’s everything you want when booking for a place to stay in Barbados. We very much enjoyed the pool area and outside Gazebo/BBQ set up with lounge chairs. Bonus attraction is the natural wildlife you see around the place. Very very friendly neighbours who are willing to help if you’re looking for places to go in the city! 10/10 recommend and we look forward to our next stay with Best E Villas. Shoutout to Joyce for topping up our supplies when we needed them! It’s like she knew, we didn’t even realize we were out till she popped by to check in. :)

What I did not like was one of the apartments had a jacuzzi, which we never used,would have preferred a shower,so the 6 of us had share 1 shower.

• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful location in a beautiful country - The 2-bedroom villa was very clean, in a safe neighbourhood, and walking distance to beautiful paradise beach. The pool was perfect on hot evenings and the air conditioning was very effective to ensure good sleeping. There were very few good knives for cooking.

Communication prior to arrival from Errol was great and once arrived, we were exceptionally well looked after by Joyann and Margaret who asked us how often we'd like to have things like towels and bedding freshened etc. They were there if you wanted them but were unobtrusive and discreet at all times. The villa was a real home from home, very well equipped kitchen with lots of cupboard space should it be needed and a large fridge/freezer. The bedrooms had tons of hanging and drawer space with lots of clothes hangers too! The air-conditioning was very effective. Located off the beaten track made the villas a quiet and restful place to stay. The pool and patio area were relaxing spaces and with the option of using the BBQ and the covered area, in case of rain or just wanting a bit of shade, made it a great space to use. There was plenty of choice of table and chairs at the back, both open and under cover and each villa also had it's own seating in the garden area. The gardens were nicely looked after. Difficult to find anything to write here but even though there was ample line space and pegs for hanging washing outside, a simple clothes horse for the option of indoor drying would have been a really useful addition.

• Cassie (9/5): Lovely stay, good location to visit places up and down the west coast. - The apartment was very spacious, actually a house rather than an apartment with a lounge/diner and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms with bathroom upstairs. It was well equipped and included a washing machine which was great for cleaning our swimwear etc when needed. Bedrooms were spacious and the air conditioning was excellent. Space outside with a washing line to dry clothing and towels. Staff were very friendly and accommodating before and during our stay. I would recommend a stay here! The pool is small, great for cooling off and relaxing next to but not suitable for actual swimming. We didn't mind the walk but it is up a steep hill which may be challenging for people with difficulty walking, or poor health/fitness. The location is close enough to the main road to get the bus, and also a short walk to Batt's Rock beach and La Cabane (both lovely and recommended) - but it would be easiest to hire a car to explore the island easily. There is parking at the front of the property and a petrol station just down the road.

The chalets were larger than expected and had a lot of equipment The airconditioning units were a bit erratic and more instructions on the appliances would have been good

• Catherine (9/5): Spacious two storey apartment in residential area - Very spacious. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge, stove, microwave, washing machine. Air con in main areas worked well. Modern upstairs bathroom with walk in shower and separate downstairs toilet was nice. Location was quite quiet . Outdoor eating/ barbecue area. Friendly staff. Only minor things but worth knowing: Property is up a steep hill and 15 minutes walk to nearest beach and store. In hindsight, it would have been better to hire a car. Television channels had no menu! Had to scroll through them all to find something to watch. Pool very deep (5 - 7 ft) so not great for non-swimmers/ young kids
• Johnny (8/5): A bit tucked away, but a great beach, pool and cheap! - We stayed at Best E Villas Prospect for 2 weeks. The property is situated up a hill about 8 minutes walk from Batts Rock Beach which is small but beautiful. $40 Bajan will hire you 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for the day. There is a large free car park and the expensive La Cabane restaurant is on the beach. There are plenty of other beautiful beaches within 20 minutes of driving. Our favourite was the Folkestone Marine Reserve at Holetown. Easy to park, 2 cafes, brilliant snorkelling and a nice vibe. There are few other tourist facilities within walking distance of the apartment, and a car is definitely beneficial unless you want to walk down to near the beach to catch the frequent buses. We used a car throughout. Locally Pat's store and simple cafe is a short walk away. Pat will cook you a decent meal if you order it in the morning. There is also Da Family Spot, a bar which serves daytime food nearby. We didn't use it. Jordans supermarket is a 10 minute drive towards Holetown and has reasonable prices (they close on Sunday). Wendy's Bar a few hundred yards farther on is great for watching sports including Premier League matches and always has a decent atmosphere. Food there is simple but good and reasonably priced. We stayed in apartment 2 at the Villas. It is simply furnished, clean and functional. If you want luxury go somewhere else. It could probably do with an update, but then it would be more expensive! There were 2 of us, but it would comfortably house 6 with 3 double beds, a shower room, kitchen and lounge with downstairs toilet. The TV works well when you can work it out, there's even Netflix. The kitchen is fairly well equipped with a decent cooker and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The kitchen knives are extremely blunt and need replacing or sharpening. There is also a washing machine and a good sized fridge freezer. Plenty of washing line space to hang your washing outside. Not a lot really, just the few points below..
• Philip (10/5): Would I go back? Absolutely, already looking at flights for next year! - Service from first contact to arrival and booking in was first class, thank you :-) Well appointed Villa. Lounge , dining area very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, washing machine, drying area outside. Downstairs washroom, 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Air con very efficient. Bedroom fan whisper quiet on low speed, that, with a very comfortable bed meant good sleeps every night. Shared patio area has tables and chairs, gas BBQ, small swimming pool, and a covered seating area for shade. 10 minute walk away (down hill going so maybe a bit longer coming back) from what in my view are 2 of the best beaches in Barbados, lovely sand and warm water. Batts Rock beach and Paradise beach.Swim with turtles and sting rays. beds and umbrellas are available for rent but most important, there are no hotels nearby so you are not crowded. And at one side of the beach is a beach bar and restaurant, and a car park. 15 minute walk away is Fitts Village Beach, also very good but with many hotels is busier. On a main bus route if you want to go explore. Can't think of anything !
• Robert (8/5): Wonderful - a great rest, just what was needed. - Good location near wonderful Batts Rock beach; easy access to public transport up and down the coast (although a car is needed if you want to venture inland). Very efficient AC (in lounge & bedrooms), very comfortable beds so slept really well. Spacious kitchen & lounge area. Very friendly and helpful ladies looking after the property. The shower needed a little more power as water flow was very weak. Another shower in the master bedroom en-suite would also be a great addition.
• Karen (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was spacious, very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Located in a nice quiet area, close to the bus route and close to a beautiful beach. Joyanne and Margeuerite were wonderful and very helpful. There was nothing I didn't like.
• Carolyn (9/5): Brilliant value for money, and friendly local area - The apartment (actually more like a house, with living area, toilet and kitchen on ground floor, 2 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs) was very spacious, with good air-conditioning and books and magazines to look at, as well as a TV. The kitchen had everything you could need for a stay. Also a washing machine which would be very useful for families staying. A very safe and friendly area. My female friend and I walked around at night as well as day time. It would be best to hire a car as it is a very steep walk to the beaches. Other than that no criticisms at all.

• Michael (3/5): Poor - Air conditioning was great in every room. After 7 days I find bedbugs. I was getting odd bites on my body and initially I passed the bites off as sand flies. I was sitting on the sofa and saw the bedbug in the cushion seam. The next bedbug was in the bed I had slept the whole nine days. The bed bugs now I’m worried about bringing home bugs to my house. I’ve travelled stayed many hotels never ever encountered bed bugs. Very disappointing.

• Rajesh (10/5): Exceptional - Such a great property with great amenities in a very quiet location, only a short drive away from the madness of Bridgetown. Batts Beach is only a short walk down the hill. The staff are very helpful. I would highly recommend this villa as a holiday home when in Barbados.

The villa was clean and had everything we needed. Near a wonderful beach. Batts Rock. We saw wild monkeys, chickens, sheep in our backyard. We would definitely return.
• Hill (9/5): A good prospect - Stayed as a family of 7, great apartment with everything you need to live comfortably, Aircon was really good and the pool was well worth a few extra bucks, the team that look after the place are lovely and very helpful. Short walk to Batts Rock beach slightly further to Fitts Village worth knowing Jordans supermarket will shuttle you back to the place if you buy to much to carry. If your eating out try Wendy's 😋 or lemonrock bar for some real Bajan food.
