Very disappointed. - Nothing The property is rundown, dirty compound, collapsing fence, cockroach in the kitchen!, old and rumpled bedding, beds were anything but comfy, bathroom and toilet facilities faulty. Downstairs shower ran lukewarm and cold water. Washroom upstairs tap (the one in the bath) was falling off.

• Elelwani (1/5): I was not allowed into the property very late at night - I did even get to stay because the property owner did not allow me access. I confirmed with her that I would arrive later in the evening and she agreed but upon arrival she said I was an overbook and I should take it up with customer service. Did she not see that when she was chatting with me? And considering that it was also a struggle to get the property. The address is listed as 156 which is incorrect, her house is number 152

• Guest (7/5): Na prespanie super. Odporúčam vylepšiť čistotu. - Možnosť kuchyne, celkom fajn lokalita cca 40 min od centra. Na prespanie je to akurát. Cena bola vynikajúca. Self check in aj neskoro v noci Mala kúpeľňa a toaleta. Špinavá podlaha v izbe. V izbe boli pavučiny.

Podríamos haber ingresado una hora antes. Los baños sucios e incómodos, no había un lavabo para poder cepillarse los dientes, había o inodoro o ducha. Nada más. Muy ruidosa, sucia en general con muchas arañas. No lo recomiendo a nadie. Por más que sea barato. En imágenes dejo foto de cómo nos recibieron, con la suciedad del huésped anterior.

• Guest (10/5): Would of been great if I could of stayed - Sadly, we didn’t get to stay (which was in no way fault of property owner) booking.com double booked us 3 times in the one night. After getting 3 Ubers to different properties that were booked and paid in full we discovered there was no availability and embarrassingly were able to walk in to rooms that people were sleeping in. The property owner did everything they could to accommodate us but were fully booked in both their properties. We did get to see the rooms and were impressed though. Would definitely recommend this property Nothing that I saw

• Guest (1/5): Horrible - Rien du tout Cet hébergement est une pure arnaque, l’appartement est insalubre et remplis d’insectes. J’ai passé la pire nuit de mon séjour puis j’ai cherché un autre hébergement dès le lendemain. J’ai expliqué la situation à l’hôte qui m’a dit que je serai remboursé. Cela fait une semaine que j’ai fini mon séjour et toujours aucun remboursement ni aucunes nouvelles!! Fuyez cet endroit!!!!

• Guest (3/5): Won't come back. - In the small bathroom the toilet seat was broken. The matress had a stain and also the duvet was stained. It was raining through the bathroom ceiling upstairs. There was a Rat in the kitchen.
• Becca (1/5): Never again, would not recommend - Absolutely nothing. False advertising Everything. The toilet broke twice in a shared house so everyone was urinating on each others bodily fluids. The toilet leaked, a mouldy towel in the bathroom, bath was dirty/uncleaned. Used toilet paper stuck to the bathroom windowsill outside. Bins overflowing in the front garden, rubbish bags and lastly in our room there was a chewed piece of chewing gum stuck to the bed. I asked for a partial refund to be told to speak to booking.com. Nothing got resolved other than the piece of chewy being removed.
• Huw (1/5): Awful. - It wasn’t clean. There were cockroaches and other insects. There was no hot water on arrival and we had to message for this to get fixed. The bed sheets were dirty, stained and not fresh. The towels provided were stained dirty and not fresh. The bedside table wasn’t clean and the floor was sticky. There were holes in the wall. The communal area hasn’t been maintained well and was unclean. There wasn’t anywhere to put our clothes. It was so bad we had to book another accommodation and it affected our get away to enjoy London.

• Eva (4/5): Disappointing - Close to our concert venue. No hot water in one of two bathrooms, landlord said someone would come repair it, but nobody did during our stay. During rain there was water dripping down from the ceiling in the bathroom. Dirty walls in our room. Nowhere to dry a towel or hang clothes in the room. The whole place looked shabby.
• Corinne (1/5): Would not book or recommend. - The photos of this listing are misleading. The house overall was overgrown at the front with bins that had red labels all over them where they couldn’t be collected. The doorway had a mucky carpeted area and the condition of the property left a lot to be desired. It smelled of mildew when we entered, the room felt damp, the doorway looked warped at the doorknob. A loud high pitched screech is emitted from the doorknob when you enter the code to open the door to your room. The bathroom downstairs was a toilet in one room with no lock on the door and a toilet that seemed to be on the verge of falling over and a shower stall behind another doorway across from the toilet. There wasn’t much room in the shower room to manoeuvre. To get to these both required walking past a second room and through the shared kitchen.. not idea of you are planning on showering and zero privacy with a door that has no lock. There were two towels provided for a two person booking. One bath towel and one hand towel. No extra towels were in any of the cupboards in the kitchen. The listing showed four pillows and when we arrived there were only two with no additional pillows to be found. The location left a lot to be desired also with a huge property full of broken windows across the road. I was so disappointed with this listing I left after twenty minutes and booked a travelodge.
• Kateryna (1/5): Bad - What we saw in the pictures during booking did not match reality. The rooms were dirty. The bed linen didn’t smell fresh, and although the sheets might have been washed, the smell of the mattresses and pillows came through. There were cockroaches in the room. In Room 3, the window wouldn’t close — we tried, but it’s broken. The door couldn’t be locked from the inside and opened during the night because of a draft between the unlocked door and the window that wouldn’t close. This is the first time in all my travels that I have left such a low rating — I am truly disappointed and upset.

We were able to sleep there for the required time and public transport was easily accessible - Lots of bugs - A leak - Hazardous plug socket placement (too close to sink) - Yellow stain on bedsheet - No lock on the toilet - Toilet and shower rooms are almost unusable because of how tiny they are - No actual bathroom sink. I had to use the kitchen one instead - Front door lock extremely finicky - Got woken up at 6:50am. because of insanely loud knocking that went on for TWENTY MINUTES - Insanely thin pillows

• Jonathan (2/5): Rat in the flat, and maybe more... - The location was good, bars, restaurants, Finsbury Park and underground and overground stations within a 10 minute walk. The price was good for London and there was a fan to keep you cool during the night. The room itself was relatively clean but there wasn't much to get dirty besides the bed, a chair and a table. I entered the building and watched a rat running down the stairs from the middle floor, which then ran into the kitchen and behind the kitchen cupboards. Having seen hundreds of mice in my time, I can confirm this was definitely not a mouse, which I almost could have forgiven, it was a large rat that you can will commonly see on the streets of London. The whole building was very unclean, what looked to be a small cockroach on the kitchen floor too but it retreated under the washing machine when I blew on it to see if it was alive. The bathroom on the middle floor was disgusting, I didn't bother having a shower before check out because even though I was sweating all night before, I felt like I would've come out dirtier than I went in. The bedroom was a shoebox, however I can almost forgive this considering the price. The owners are obviously very hands off and just message you a code to get in the front door and into your room, which again, considering the price, I understand but the lack of any sort of care for the property paints a very obvious picture. I am unsure how often cleaners come in but I never saw any myself.
• Emma (4/5): Passable if you need to stay in this area - We stayed in room 1 which is the first room on the ground floor. It was quite spacious and easy to check in, that is probably the only positive thing I have to say about the stay. The room is incredibly basic, does not look as nice as the photos. It's pretty much the cheapest bed, mattress, chair and table in a room. The toilet downstairs is in such a small room, there isn't a lock on it. The shower is also a tiny room and there is no bathroom sink to wash hands/brush teeth so we ended up doing this in the kitchen sink. The towels on our bed were wet, not just a little bit damp, actually wet. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything going on. Luckily during our stay all other guests were respectful and quiet, however I could imagine this could ruin a stay if guests weren't as polite.

We booked 3 rooms, could only have access to 2 rooms, we weren’t told we would be sharing the house with other people, there’s no bins in the rooms or toilet, only one room had fan and everything was just dirty, there was even a dried up condom on the floor! There were cameras inside the house too. Wouldn’t recommend this stay.

• Nora (3/5): Poor - When we locked out ourselves from the room, the staff helped us with the code at night. There is no sink. You have to wash your hands in the kitchen's sink with washing liquid. There is no lock on the toilet. The toilet is leeking. The shower is really small, and dirty. It was full of hair. The water was not running down. The room is really small. The walls are dirty. Especislly next to your head. The towels had red spots on it. On the bedclothes we found hair. I would not recommend it.

• Hadley (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - Honestly could not complain one bit was what I expected for the price and would recommend for anyone on a tight budget who’s looking to stay in north London. Facilities were clean, not the best area but overall nothing concerning. Room was small but then again expected for the price had problems with the key pad on the front door found it difficult to operate but also wasn’t anything major. One thing I will say is we couldn’t lock the door to our room we tried everything and just couldn’t lock it which was concerning but this could be an error made by myself.
