• Somerset (8/5): Excellent location and very friendly staff. Our room was huge and looked straight on to the square which was glorious - Location is excellent. Lots to look at from the balcony. Staff are very friendly and the building is very unique. The small lift could be confronting for some people but we loved it and were extremely thankful not to have to cart our luggage up the flights of stairs.

Room was very clean and the bathroom was surprisingly modern. We were worried it would be noisy on a Saturday night overlooking the piazza, but the windows and extra shutters were really effective.

• Alycia (9/5): Great stay over all. - Loved the location and spacious inside. Plenty of room to relax. The front desk manager was very knowledgeable and spoke English well so that was a big plus. The sheets smelled heavy of scented laundry detergent and I had to put the Fragrance diffuser on the balcony because it was so strong. 8:00 start time for breakfast was tough since we needed to leave by 8:00 for most excursions.

• Doris M Rydell (4/5): Great location if that’s all you care about - The rooms were a very nice size room compared to what you may find at other hotels in the same area. There were a lot of little restaurants and shops around the hotel. If cold eggs, bacon, and coffee is your idea of a great breakfast then this is for you. It was brought up to the Management attention the first day, however, was met up with some excuses by the male staff person . Alternatives were offered by the owner, but who wants to go to another location to get breakfast when you’re supposed to get a breakfast at the hotel of which you already paid . They did try to accommodate us the following mornings by offering to cook the eggs when we got up. This is not how paid breakfast should be.Additionally four nights out of 10 we were there, we had problems going to sleep because of either loud demonstrations in the Square or loud music and singing going on sometimes up to 12:30 am We should’ve known there was a noise issue when we went into the room and there were earplugs. As far as the bathroom, it was a good size. However, the water pressure of the shower was pretty not strong, and additionally, there were days when the bathroom, smelled like sewage. I can’t imagine all of this just came about after reading all the glowing reviews prior to mine. I just wish the truth was told on previous reviews where I could’ve booked elsewhere. You want to make an educated decision when spending your hard earned money..

L’emplacement est idéal, a quelques pas de la Via Toledo, du quartier animé de Spaccanapoli. Nous y reviendrons assurément.

The breakfast was delicious - a very sweet set up in a communal area. At night and late into the evening it is so noisy/disruptive in the square where the hotel is located. If you are a light sleeper this is not an ideal location. It was the only thing that let our experience down. Otherwise we loved our short stay here.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, a highlight of the entire trip. Mario was especially helpful and made us feel so welcome. • Jacqueline (10/5): - When we arrived we were a little scared since the outside of the property looks very old and kind of sketchy, keep in mind this was our first time in Napoli. As soon as we went up the elevator ( btw a very cool one, over 100 years old) we were greeted by Alicia, she was very sweet and helpful. Since the entrance of the hotel to the room is beautiful and clean, the bedroom was very specious, we were very surprised. Also the breaks the next morning was delicious and the cleaning lady who also served us our drinks for the buffer breakfast was lovely. I recommend this place!

• Eva (10/5): Alójate en el centro de Nápoles en un palazzo al puro estilo napolitano. - La entrada al edificio es un poco impactante, pero ya se ve en las fotos de booking. Es un edificio muy antiguo pero el hotel tiene toda la planta totalmente rehabilitada.Me gustó todo, la ubicación, la amabilidad del personal, las instalaciones, todo todo. Lo que no me gustó es que no avisaran de que hay cámaras de control de tráfico a la entrada a la plaza donde se encuentra el hotel, cámara que no vimos. Ibamos con coche, llamamos al hotel para reservar una plaza de aparcamiento sabiendo que era centro histórico y lo hicieron por nosotros amablemente, pero creo que deberían avisar de la existencia de las cámaras, porque acercamos el coche a la puerta del hotel para bajar el equipaje antes de dejar el coche en el parking y probablemente nos hayan multado. No pueden entrar sino taxis, y vehículos para carga y descarga durante media hora, algo que vimos después . Seguro que lo que nosotros hicimos, q es descargar equipaje durante 5’ no lo considerarán carga y descarga y probablemente recibamos una multita.

• Danielle (10/5): Perfect Palazzo!! - This stay was truly perfection. Before we even arrived the staff were INCREDIBLY kind and helpful with me asking so many questions and planning for our trip. We were welcomed so kindly when we arrived early and were able to put our bags in our room before heading out for the day. The room itself was huge, so clean, so well decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The vibrant streets of Naples were right outside our front door and there was so much to see and do. We easily walked around so much of the city and loved coming back to our comfortable room. Breakfast was great and we felt very safe and happy here. I couldn't recommend staying here more highly if you're visiting Naples. I have nothing negative to say!

Fridge stocked with waters and beer no cost The property itself a beautiful old building but the room we were given was right by the side of the breakfast area and no soundproofing on the doors so from 7am we could hear everything. The door also didn’t feel very secure. It’s a very old building with high doors and ceilings but we felt a little uncomfortable on the security aspect of it. I feel that should be made clearer that when given that room it’s so noisy in the mornings

• Philippe (10/5): - Great hotel, although big, only has a handful of rooms which adds to the personal touch from the staff. The staff is very friendly, patient and helpful. Room is really big and the balcony view is on the Piazza. A lot of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. It is noisy as there are a lot of people in the area at all times of the day and night, but they do supply earbuds to compensate. Bathroom is really clean and new. Bed is also comfortable. Recommend 10/10 as long as you are ok with noisy neighborhood.

• Patrizia (6/5): Quiet room, totally overpriced - I thought the location was great and the staff were very friendly The room was quiet but I looked onto an old wall and it was very dark. The place is pretty strange, some rooms on the fourth floor of a building in dire need of renovation. The lift is an adventure in its own right. I felt the place was overpriced compared to other places in a similar location with much better facilities etc
