• Mr. (2/5): I'm disappointed. Not recommend more than 1 day! - Nothing special. Just nearby united hospital and console office. Just Good for 1 day only. Not more then 1 This was my second stay, and unfortunately, the issues remained the same. Poor maintenance—AC was noisy, washroom problems were never fixed, and the bed wasn’t comfortable. Basic hygiene was lacking; they rarely changed bedsheets and provided only one toilet tissue for the entire stay. The kitchen was poorly equipped and not clean. The management is unprofessional. They canceled my next booking without informing me and kept pushing to book directly instead of through Booking.com. Despite staying for weeks, they charged extra for a few hours overstay. Totally disappointing and unwelcoming. They asked for 1 day rent for staying few hours over then checkout time. It's lame after 3 weeks of stay!
• Mr. (3/5): Poor - 1700 taka per day is okey if you just wanna stay 1 day or 2 days. It's not a perfect place to stay more then 2 days or long time. I stayed at this property for 24 days, and overall, the experience was disappointing. The bed was not very comfortable, and the washroom had multiple issues that were never fixed despite repeated complaints. There was a constant water dripping noise 24/7, which was very disturbing. The AC worked, but it made loud noises, and again, no action was taken even after reporting it. Housekeeping was poor—they do not change the bedsheets regularly. I was told they change them once every 4–7 days, but it didn’t seem consistent. The kitchen lacked many essential items, and even the plates and spoons provided were dirty. Shockingly, they only provided toilet tissue on the first day of our 24-day stay. What’s worse, during our stay, they canceled our next booking without our consent. They repeatedly pressured us to cancel our Booking.com reservation and book directly with them. Their behavior was far from professional. After staying for 24 days, they even charged us extra for just a few hours of overstay. Can you imagine how unreasonable that is? The only reason I booked this place was because it was close to the consulate office. But their attitude and lack of service were truly hurtful and unacceptable.
• Mr. (1/5): WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE – SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERNS - WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE – SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERNS. This was the most terrifying experience I’ve ever had with a booking. My sister and her Russian husband stayed at this property and were locked up and harassed by the owner, Abdul Kader Khan, and his staff simply for raising concerns about poor service. They were verbally abused and threatened, and there were attempts to extort money from them. After I left a negative review on Booking.com, the situation escalated drastically. The owner—who claimed to be a former British Embassy security officer with powerful connections—used threats and intimidation, even bringing in local thugs to scare us. My family had to be rescued by the police after being unlawfully detained. This is not just a matter of poor hospitality—this is criminal behavior. Booking.com must take immediate action against this property and its owner to protect future guests. No one should have to fear for their safety when booking accommodation. For your own safety and peace of mind, avoid this place at all costs. He send me the pictures to show me he is a powerful person as he worked in British Embassy as security officer. He called me and use so bad words I can't explain to provide the core information the customer in review. He said a Awami Leader and he has lot of crimal in contact! I provided his pictures he send me over WhatsApp.
• Mr. (1/5): Don't stay for more days there! They are not professional - 1700 is good price if you wanna stay 1 day only! Stayed here again because suddenly off day come for work, but the experience didn’t improve. Still the same problems—noisy AC, leaking washroom, and poor housekeeping. Bedsheets weren't changed regularly, and cleanliness was below standard. They still avoid fixing issues even after repeated complaints. Management was again unprofessional. They canceled a future reservation without notice and insisted on direct bookings. After a long stay, they even charged for just a few extra hours. Not worth the hassle.

• Mr. (9/5): Superb - The location is very convenient, just near the consulate offices of several countries. If you're visiting for work or medical treatment in Gulshan or Bashundhara and need a budget-friendly option for your family, this place is a good choice. I came here with my sister and her husband for work at the Russian Embassy, as her husband is Russian and she needed a visa. The embassy is just a 15-minute walk from here. Kadir Bhai is helpful and responds when we call him. However, I would suggest that he also provide the contact of another professional who can be available when needed, just to ensure smoother communication. It would be great if they paid a bit more attention to kitchen management and added a small waiting area with a front desk or manager. In the kitchen, they could include a few more plates, cups, and glasses, along with dishwashing liquid so guests can clean up after themselves. This would be especially helpful for those planning to stay longer and cook their own meals. In case of any damage, the cost could simply be deducted from the guest. Just a small suggestion to make the experience better. Best of luck for them.
• Rakibul (1/5): Terrible Experience – Not Recommended - I recently stayed at this hotel with a few friends, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. It felt like they didn’t care about their guests at all – it was impossible to have a normal conversation with them. Their attitude was rude, and they treated customers as if they were a burden. The overall service was poor, and even the basic amenities were lacking. The toiletries were either missing or of very low quality. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this place. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and choose a place where the staff actually respects and values their guests.

• Rabbani (9/5): Superb - Anyone who wants to stay at Baridhara, Appayon must be a great deal. The groceries store, super shops, restaurants, and any other daily needs are near this guest house. I specifically liked the cleanliness and the behaviour of the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and cooperative. Living rooms & bathrooms were very clean and properly organized and comfortable to use. You can book for your stay without any hesitation.

Price was very good in comparison to prices around. In opposite of Guest house is very nice restaurant you can have good meal.
