- Stéphanie (2/5): Terrible experience from start to end. - Close to main attractions around Interlaken region, parking available We received several communications weeks before our stay to advise of the long list of rules and taxes to pay… but hours before the check-in time we still didn’t have to code to obtain the keys. When asking the hosts for it, we only received condescending responses but never the code itself. The apartment was full of spiders and other insects that appeared during all our stay, pillows were as flat as crepes, walls are not soundproof as we heard our neighbours conversations as if they were in bed with us in the middle of the night. To top it all off, we had a lovely surprise waiting for us in the outdoor stairs on our last day… a giant slug about 30cm long… we do not recommend
- Caoilte (6/5): The smell was awful when we arrived, the explanation for this was water damage that wouldn’t be sorted while we were the - That it was close to a fabulous swimming spot just down the road The drainage is so bad the smell in the bathroom and hallways was awful
- Joel (2/5): So Many BUGS and Traffic Noise! - We liked that we could walk to the little town nearby. There were tons of flies and bugs presumably from the lake. We went in the summer and there is no air conditioning in the room. The giant book of instructions and rules the host provides tells you to open up the windows to cool down, but the flies and bugs made it impossible to get comfortable. The bed felt like a cheap futon from a college dorm. The traffic noise was also a big surprise. There is a main road with fast-moving traffic and a train that passes by right out front of the property. This also makes it awkward that there are zero privacy blinds or shades in the bedroom or living room. I noticed black mold in the bathroom. The sauna in the pictures is only for 1 of the rooms and not accessible for any of the other rooms. The whole experience was a nightmare and we left as soon as possible.
- Liron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (4/5): Disappointing - The view on the balcony and the location to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen etc The photos on Booking.com far exceed what is actually factual of the apartment, not upto the usual booking.com standard. Climbing in and out to get to bed was really poor, for older travellers this is unacceptable and needs to be clearly articulated. The pillows need replacing they were flat as a pancake, we had to use dirty, dusty couch pillows to try and get some height. We stayed 8 nights and we were expected to wash the towels etc as their was no mid stay service. This is unacceptable as people who stay 1 or 2 nights get far better treatment than those who stay longer. 3 toilet rolls for 8 days was also unacceptable. We had to purchase toilet paper, wash towels etc twice during our stay at a considerable cost. 16 swiss francs for washing towels is highway robbery this is approximately 27 Australian dollars for washing only.
I am Swiss and an expectation to keep things tidy is in my DNA, however the tone of the detailed expectations of the visit was like living under the Gestapo.
They could also fix the toilet role holder as the roll kept slipping off when using the paper.
Because of the location of the bed hard up against both walls, there is no ability to clean around and under the bed. Anyone with allergies would suffer.
- Alina (9/5): Superb - location and view the bedroom is lucking space
- Anastasiia (10/5): Beautiful view, cozy atmosphere, stylish design and decor. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. I felt very -
