Gita (6/5): Good location for what we wanted to do. - Clean Some parts looked unfurnished. Window frame on front window was missing & there was exposed filler. There at 1 time a blind or curtain there, that was missing & that meant that the street light shon in all night into the sitting & bedroom. Washing was draped over an air dryer from the previous person. Coffee machine, but no coffee pods.

De afwerking is (nog) niet heel goed (pur rondom raamkozijn, matig afsluitende deur van hal naar appartement) Het appartement is prima geschikt voor twee personen, of voor een gezin. Voor 1 stel + 1 volwassene wat minder. De derde persoon slaapt in de woonkamer. Daar zijn (nog) geen gordijnen of luiken. Het felle licht van de straatlantaarn is zeer hinderlijk. Een ander nadeel: de wc is enkel bereikbaar via de tweepersoons slaapkamer. De schuifdeur van de wc sluit niet volledig. Qua privacy niet ideaal.

Catherine (8/5): studio spacieux, bon emplacement meme si un peu bruyant - -Localisation très centrale, rue à l'écart du trafic -studio spacieux, pratique pour ne pas devoir manger tout le temps au restau. -Gérants réactifs en cas de problème -J ai pu déposer mon sac avant l'heure du check-in -Cuisine équipée mais pas de table pour manger (on m'a dit qu'elle avait été commandée) -Une grande lampe du séjour ne marchait pas, dommage car c'est au rez de chaussée et un peu sombre. Quelqu'un est passé après que je l'ai signalé mais n'a pas pu immédiatement réparer -Salle de bains/douche très petite -Bien que le studio soit dans une petite rue, j'ai entendu pas mal de bruit la nuit (une seule porte en bois nous sépare de la rue)

Although I didn't read the message before time I had no problem checking in the property and they were very forthcoming with everything! The apartment had everything we needed and the location was really close to the bus and the metro station. Also nearby there were a lot of nice restaurants and convenience stores.

Ryan (2/5): The single worst ever property I have ever had to pay to stay in, ruined my birthday weekend! - The property was in a pretty good location other than the fact that it was facing onto a block of flats but otherwise good location The property was dirty, and lots of damaged things inside too, plus there was things missing that were supposed to be there as per the booking description, and the shower room was full of black mould and limescale so bad that the shower head was fused on and barely worked properly. The host was less than sympathetic to the fact that I had booked in for my birthday weekend and because of the state of the property and the way it made me feel plus the fact that I had to pay a £300 deposit on top of the fee for the booking (I still haven’t had my deposit returned to me and it’s now a week later) plus although I was promised a full refund I am still waiting for that to happen also

Catthekiwi (3/5): No good for 2nd person sleeping in living area - A converted office/commercial ground floor unit at 53 (not 55) next to a school. Close to bus and tube, supermarket, 10 minute walk to Camden Market. Bedroom had sink and bathroom in it. Large living space with large frosted windows though couldn't see outside. Check in innstructions really good. Communication with property manager initially very good. No good whatsoever for the 2nd person sleeping in the lounge. There was no futon, see photos. It was a small hard bit of foam and expected to sleep on the floor. We were there 8 nights and I expected something comfortable for the price. Sun rose at 5:30 and NO curtains or blinds so streetlights all night and then the sun while lying on a bit of foam on the floor. Terrible. Took 9 days and many messages initiated by me to get our deposit back through PayPal and lost $50 due to exchange rate. Found this stressful.

It’s just a very thin spongy mattress. Hosts requires a £300 deposit to be paid via PayPal which seems very suspicious but it was returned. Washer but no dryer.

Ipek (9/5): Quite good, would prefer staying again. - Great location, and nice flat. I suggested the host to be more careful about cleaning. We noticed some dirts in the bathroom. Rather than that small cleaning issue, everything was quite good. Host is very responsive, location is great, flat is nice and cozy. Definitely recommend it.
Estefania (7/5): Very good - Very good location and very clean. Is easy to find as they send you messages and is a garage door so was easy I don’t like the fact that is a garage on the street. The door and windows should have courtains to black out the interior, also the fact you have to clean the apartment dishes and all before leave if you are in rush isn’t ideal. Also the fact of you have to pay 300£ outside booking for the deposit before give you the keys isn’t good because after the refund takes more than 2 weeks for return it paypal the refund

Jill (3/5): Property was perfect for 2 out of the 3 of us. No shampoo was provided, although once pointed out to host they provided - Location was perfect for where we needed to be. The property advertised it could sleep more than 2 people as it said it had a double and a futon bed. The reality was a double (with a very soft mattress) and a single blow up air mattress for my 6’4” son. HIs feet were over the edge and he would easily slide off on the floorboards floor. He ended up sleeping on the couch which wasn’t a sofa bed, for 4 uncomfortable nights. When mentioned to host where was the futon they replied it had been ordered but not arrived but they had provided the single air mattress. They also said “blow up mattress wasn’t an option” to select on bookings.com when I pointed out their misleading and deceptive marketing needed to be changed to remove “futon bed”. Also the property really is on,y conducive to two people as the tiny bathroom is in the bedroom so your extra guests need to enter the one bedroom to access.

We contacted the Urban Oasis team about a few minor issues and they responded immediately and were quite helpful. Slight smell from the shower drain.

Felt really safe at the property, as it's located on the first floor and there were secure locks on the front door. The host was really quick at responding with questions. We had a problem with a fire head that was beeping (reported after hours) and they attended site that evening to fix the problem. The instructions for the keys, where to find the property and how to use the heating were clear and easy to understand. The apartment was clean, there was plenty of bedding and the kitchen facilities were good, as was the wifi. I would definitely stay again. Thank you :-)

I became anxious when I learned that there would be a required security deposit (300 GBP), but it was easy to do via PayPal and returned immediately after checkout. I wish it weren’t necessary. But we appreciated how immaculate and well-maintained an oasis the spacious, high-ceilinged, artfully decorated flat is. As above, we wish the deposit weren’t necessary. But we appreciate the excellent condition of the flat.

But after checking out they still didn't send me the money he made. It is difficult to get the key when I called for help they never answer the phone
Sara (10/5): Top notch comfort and style in Camden, fab location and excellent apartment and service! - I’ll need to break this down into parts, due to all the positives of this apartment. Management team - excellent communication, that started as soon as I booked. Rapid, kind and courteous customer service. Actively encouraged me to get in touch with any questions to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. Location - if you love Camden, this is place to stay. It’s located a 2 minute walk from Mornington Tube station (northern line) and many buses. It’s a pleasant 15 minute walk up Camden High street to Camden Lock. There is a Sainsburys at Mornington junction so you get all your groceries and essentials with ease. The apartment is located in close proximity to a famous nightclub (don’t worry there no noise issues for our stay and it was. Bank holiday weekend) The positive to this is, there is security to front and back of the club and with CCTV cameras just outside the property door. Well lit streets, no dark corners. This made us feel extra safe going in and out of the front door. We went to the cinema in Leicester Sq (6 stops on the northern line) and arrived back at midnight on a Saturday. As female travellers we felt very safe in the whole area. 55 Bayham Place - What a beaut!! Honestly this apartment is chefs kiss, it’s that good. Exactly as the photos depict. Stylist and unique decor. Cosy and comfortable. Clean!! The kitchen is fully stocked with herbs and spices, cooking oil, cupboard essentials like pasta and rice. Fully equipped kitchen, that is a joy to cook in. All the cleaning products available - hand wash, anti-vac spray, washing up liquid ect. THIS really bumped up the level of attention to comfort, I very appreciate not having to buy salt/pepper/soap/oil/spices ect ect in self catering as it’s expensive and wasteful. Having these immediately to hand is absolutely excellent. Big thumbs up. The bathroom too, spotless, excellent shower pressure and temperature.

Flo (9/5): Great spacious & stylish appartement in a great location. - Stylish and very spacious apartment a few steps from the tube station as well as Pret A Manger and Sainsbury’s. Also very close to Camden with all the shops,pubs and restaurants. It was very quiet at night even at the weekend in side street. I disagree with some of the other guests saying they felt unsafe, this is not the case! Loved everything about the place and the owner was very quick responding to queries. There is no terrestrial TV but everything can be streamed, there is Netflix and youtube. Happy days. There were no tea towels, however there was kitchen roll to do the job. Not a big issue.

Mary (4/5): Read fine print; hefty deposit & photo id demanded for poorly maintained unit. - Decent kitchen and bathroom. Can open windows. Read the fine print. 300 pound security deposit required to be wired along with photo id. Not clear on how deposit was to be returned. No TV or microwave or electric kettle. Because the washer vibrates to much, the bed frame is broken and not secure. Until we figured it out, thought that the place had ghosts moving the bed. Kitchen faucet also not secure. Sofa tired and stained. And owner was hassling us about staining tired towels! Arrived to wet sheets and towels that we had to deal with. It took Bookings customer service to get us in. Place not worth the deposit and poor maintenance hassles.

Spacious room due to apartment next door heard everything from paper thin walls. Do not think how the apartment is described is as it should be. For the price this was very disappointing.

I love Camden, it is so vibrant and diverse. I was just a little upset that I couldn’t stay even longer in this apartment with my girlfriend. It felt like our own little home away from home. Khalid was an incredible host. He was super helpful, made the stay 10x better, and really was flexible around our Check-In. Would 100% stay here again and refer friends.
