Great location, easy parking, easy walk to Lonsdale St and light rail station. It took a while to locate the tissue box, and I could’ve used a shower cap! Little issues…no big deal

• malcolm (6/5): This is a lovely apartment but beware the noise - The jungle room was small but well appointed. The hosts provided everything we needed including welcoming chocolates. Their attention to detail was excellent. The whole process from before we arrived to the leaving details was handled professionally. Requests were considered, usually favourably. Unfortunately our stay was marred by the level of noise generated by the apartment above due to the poor level of acoustic separation.

• Shane (10/5): Best stay in Canberra - Hosts were extremely helpful and organized early check in despite me putting down the wrong arrival time. The unit was super clean and well fitted and perfect location.

• Charles (10/5): Why bother with a hotel when you can have this for less? - Has everything for a short stay. Everything. It’s not too small, it’s compact but ingeniously designed. Great vibe and feel and brand new. Instructions for entry and use were perfect. Very close to tram which I used going back from the city and Braddon areas. The surrounding neighbourhood is pretty average. But downtown Braddon is a short walk away and things change pretty quickly, and as soon as you’re inside the apartment you’re in a different world.
• Jackie (3/5): Privacy breached - The property was in a great location and the place is fantastic. The property has no parking available and that I have to move my car every 2 hrs. There is no privacy in facility and that the host message me counting my visitors including my partner(booked a couple ) and that admitted they watched people in the camera.

• Mary (10/5): A cosy stay right very close to the heart of Braddon. - The micro apartment was gorgeous. We were so impressed with how much you could fit into a one cosy space. It had everything we wanted and more. What I really wanted to highlight though was the care Jac and Tommy showed. They were in constant communication, made everything easy and had the apartment nice and warm for us when we arrived. It was all great!

• Braden (9/5): Great little apartment - Everything is new, thoughtfully designed with a lot of taste. I had the 3rd floor apartment and the narrow stairs were a mission with some the gear I had to take up and down!

This is the second time I have enjoyed staying at the green rooms, and once again I leave feeling relaxed and ready for real life to resume. The interior design is contemporary but tasteful. The furnishings and facilities are comfortable and functional. The space is small but feels light and airy, as well as cosy. The space is clean and well thought out. Always a pleasure to stay and I would highly recommend the green rooms to anyone looking for something a bit special. Having to check out and go back to real life

• Geoff (7/5): Fantastic themed apartment which has a wow factor. The lack of soundproofing is the big negative. - The decor was fantastic. The location suited us - in a nice quiet street with easy street parking. We were in a second story apartment, in a three story building. The problem is that it is is not properly soundproofed between floors and we could clearly hear the people walking around upstairs. Then they set off the smoke alarm (after midnight) which also went off in our apartment.

I would certainly look at booking here a - Perfect location, comfortable bed, beautiful decor, new - clean bathroom, cooking facilities & coffee machine. All so good. Lots of stairs - but this wasn’t an issue for us.

I feel safe and comfortable and it’s close to where I need to be There’s nothing I don’t like about the property

The building is a great design, and I had everything I needed for my night in The Hive (although sadly I was out most of the time). The host, Jac, was a wonderful communicator and instructions for unlocking the door to the building and apartment were very clear. Thanks for the choccies Jac - much appreciated with a cup of tea! Fantastic rain showerhead, and great blockout blinds so you can sleep properly at night. Lovely and quiet too. I'd stay there again!

Very much the antidote to white nondescript hotel rooms. Quiet location close enough to the centre of town and 15 mins walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

Jac was always quick to respond to msg’s before hand but I didn’t need to contact her once we were there as there were no problems. I must give special credits to their cleaners as the place was immaculate. The decor was so decadent and rich. Good job guys for the unique apartment and I hope to book again when we return.

• Yt001 (4/5): Disappointing - The room was too small and we did not like the black based decor. There was no soundproofing. The noise from the floor above was incredibly loud, like elephants trodding.
• Helen (9/5): Spotlessly clean, well equipped studio in convenient location - The property and how to get into it was as described and everything was spotlessly clean. The studio had everything that you may need to stay a few days, including if you wanted to prepare a simple meal or do some washing. The host (Jac) was just lovely. There was nothing to fault. Towels: I may have misunderstood the listing -- I had expected 2 x bath towels each but there was only one each (very nice, clean, fluffy white ones, plus a hand towel, 2 x face washers and a bath mat). I have long hair so was hoping for 2 towels.

• Gilbertfamily (10/5): Small in size, but big in comfort and value - The property is amazing - while small in size, it contains everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The quality of the fixtures and fittings were fantastic, right down to the kitchen utensils available for use and the "necessities" such as salt, sugar etc. The location of the property was so convenient for shopping and, personally, for getting to my office. I did have a car which made it easier, so I'm not sure how you'd go without one. Communication with the host was amazing - I had all the information I needed, and they were always willing to answer my questions and keep me up-to-date with anything I needed to know. The soundproofing between floors of the building isn't great, and it seemed that the people upstairs were intent on clomping around with boots on some evenings. But it wasn't constant and I was certainly able to live with it. Parking was a concern for me before my arrival, as only on-street parking was available. I found I had no issues getting a park nearby, although it's only 2 hour parking during the day - thankfully I was at the office each day and never had to run the risk of a parking ticket.

Beautiful big windows with light and leafy trees. Unique, impressive decor. A delightful experience.

Would've liked a washing machine although appreciate that with the limited space this would've been difficult. For some reason there were some feet shaped water marks on the stairway and also in the apartment.
