- Antonio (4/5): - The location is fantastic—it’s really close to a lovely park, plus it’s super convenient being near the train station. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot. there were some major issues. The photos online don’t match the reality. The kitchen was really under-equipped—no drinking glasses at all, so I had to buy two myself and left them there. Basic items like dish soap or a sponge were missing. The bed had only one set of sheets—no extra covers— the mattress needs to be replaced because it’s too soft and the chairs near the bed were worn out and broken. Overall, the unit really needs a big renovation and maintenance to better satisfy guests.

- Molly (2/5): Booking.com completely failed me during this stay. - The location. Also, the person from the property I communicated with was friendly, and I genuinely appreciated that. Unfortunately, my stay was not clean to say the least. There was hair throughout the flat (floors, kitchen cabinets, in dresser drawers), dirt and buildup under the bed, and an overall smell that never went away. There was a stained Halloween blanket on the bed (in mid november), I didn’t feel comfortable unpacking my clothes at all. I slept on top of a blanket I bought myself and wore slippers inside because the floors didn’t feel clean. I would also like to note I’m not a picky traveler, I don’t mind a budget stay with quirks as long as it’s reasonably clean.
What made the situation *significantly* worse was the way Booking.com handled everything. Before contacting the host, I reached out to Booking.com immediately upon arrival to understand my options. They contacted the property without telling me, then repeatedly told me they were still “waiting for a response.” Meanwhile, the host later told me they never received anything from Booking.com at all.
I called Booking.com 3-4 times during my stay, used the chat, emailed multiple times, and kept following up — and I still never received a clear answer or any real support. I spent my entire trip waiting for a resolution that never came, and I ended up feeling completely stuck in an uncomfortable stay the whole time.
Now that I’ve seen firsthand the lack of protection and the lack of consistent customer service from Booking.com, I won’t book with them again.

- Rita (4/5): I ran out of space writing my review.....stay away is my best advice - The location is very good with shops and restaurants a block away and Gloucester Road tube two blocks away. It was quiet It was filthy and there was no hot water in either sink, just the shower and the agent I had been communicating with was dealing w a personal issue out of town, but he was very good at replying quickly. I finally got the owners Whatsapp and spent all of Fri from 2 pm till seven. Again texting Saturday and staying there until noon while the cleaner was there and she couldn't believe how disgusting it was. I was told A plumber would come Tuesday regarding the no hot water issue. nobody replied to my text saying nobody's here, nobody's come,until 6:00 Tuesday night when we were informed that it needs a part so it can't be fixed until after you leave. We arrived on Good Friday so we waited five days for hot water and on Saturday we were given a refund for our inconvenience. When the owner confirmed Fri her personal cleaner would come Saturday I told her she needed to bring cleaning supplies. Oh and I received a message from the agent on Thursday telling me the vacuum and the mops have been locked up because they had just had it sprayed for parasites and the floors could not be wet. Well the cleaner couldn't believe how filthy the floors were and she said she was told she couldn't clean them so more text back and forth The last text I got from the owner Tuesday was oh my cleaner had a family emergency so she can't come I'm trying to find another after that no communication. There were only two drinking glasses and two rolls of toilet paper and we were staying for 12 days. So I suggested that they send over paper towels and more toilet paper. I had to sign for a delivery at 8:30 Saturday morning right before the cleaner arrived. There was no instructions on how to reset the Wi-Fi or the TV nor where to dump the garbage and when it might be picked up or how to operate the stove the washing machine the microwave which I think is important when you have guests from another country that are unfamiliar with items in England.

- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful and cosy apartment, can't wait to stay again - We loved the apartments location, style, comfort and facilities. It is a cosy and charming apartment and liasing with Salvatore was also great!
We come to London regularly and explore the area alot, this time we spent most of our time in the apartment because it was just stunning. Nothing is perfect but this place was perfect for us. Hard to find things we didnt like, it isn't perfect but we saw past the imperfections. Things we noticed were the door frame, it's unfinished, bit of dirt/dust under the bed and the loo brush wasn't clean. However, the shutters disguised the door and the loo brush is just a loo brush, and we only noticed under the bed when we dropped something on the floor.

Ice-cold frozen water (no hot water!!) in the kitchen and bathroom and although the issue was reported it wasn't taken care of.
