• Gloria (10/5): Lugar mágico - Todo nos encantó, las instalaciones, el.paisaje, la limpieza, la atención de Don José (es una persona excepcional) su amabilidad, el amor por lo que hace. Es un lugar hermoso, la comida que preparan deliciosa, el bosque por el que está rodeado la cabaña es increíble. Definitivamente un lugar genial para descansar y compartir con la naturaleza. No tengo nada que criticar. Todo estuvo perfecto.

The burgers and the food in general was delicious and the hosts took a lot of care to deliver it to our room. They were very attentive, gave us lots of great recommendations and were prompt to solve an issue that occurred.

• Omar (10/5): Si quieres escapar del ruido y prisa de la ciudad y poder descansar... este es el lugar!! - El sitio es ideal para aquellos que quieren escapar del ruido y monotonia de la ciudad. Los anfitriones son demasiado amables. El sitio es muy hermoso. Tranquilo y acogedor. Corres el riesgo de querer vivir alli y olvidarte de todo. El anfitrion te da un tour opcional sin costo para enseñarte acerca de las aves, mariposas y el gran bosque que sembró. Las hamburguesas que ofrece son muy buenas. Todo estuvo super bien. Mi perra disfrutó mas que nosotros. El apartamento es demasiado hermoso y justo el tamaño No hubo nada. Todo nos encantó a mi pareja y a mi , y a mi perra ni se diga. Podriamos regresar.
• Ewan (10/5): Paradise, you need to stay here! - Wow, you must stay here. This is more than just a place to stay, it is a special experience provided my hosts that really care. Jose and his wife are Incredibly generous, caring and ensured we had the best stay possible. The cabaña is beautiful and has everything you need including a kitchen. There is an outdoor terrace with a hammock and tables/chairs where you can observe the beautiful view. They accommodated us being vegetarian with a delicious breakfast of eggs, spinach, cheese, arepas, fruit and a very tasty hot chocolate. On the night we arrived we were made very nice burgers which were also vegetarian. The gardens surrounding the cabaña act as a sanctuary for butterflies of which Jose is very passionate about and he shared this with us by giving us a tour, a very interesting and special place. The bed is very comfortable, the shower has hot water and there is a smart TV with netflix (strong wifi). We wish we had stayed for longer. It was easy to access by a 10 minute Uber from the centre of Marinilla. Jose is very responsive to WhatsApp messages and was patient with us as we are learning Spanish. Highly recommend! It was perfect :)

José es un host excepcional y además un chef de primera categoría, la comida fue simplemente un 10/10. Todo estuvo impecable, la atención, la limpieza, los detalles… pero lo que más nos marcó fue su profundo compromiso con la naturaleza, José se tomó el tiempo de responder cada pregunta con paciencia, explicando el porqué de cada acción y transmitiendo su pasión por lo que hace. Se nota que no solo ofrece un lugar hermoso, sino una experiencia auténtica y con propósito. La cabaña es muy cómoda, es hermosa y cuenta una vista espectacular, Recomiendo visitarlo a ojos cerrados, no se van a arrepentir.

La atención y amabilidad de José es maravillosa, siempre está pendiente de todo lo que sea necesario para que te sientas súper bien y cómodo, te hace un recorrido mágico por sus flores y árboles, ni que decir de las mariposas Monarcas y sus variedades, te enamoras de ellas. La comida es muy deliciosa, la especialidad de don José dice ser el chocolate, es riquísimo. Estuve con mi hija y se fue enamorada de este hermoso lugar. Lo súper recomiendo 20/10. Todo Excelente
• Juan Manuel (10/5): Un rincón mágico para desconectarse, para trabajar, para respirar aire puro. - No suelo dejar comentarios en Booking, pero este lugar merece cada palabra. Es sencillamente espectacular. Todo ha sido construido con las manos de José y con un amor que se siente en cada rincón. Esa dedicación se traduce en un espacio acogedor, tranquilo y perfecto para liberar el estrés. El bosque de mariposas y colibríes es un verdadero tesoro: una experiencia que debería vivir cualquiera, al menos una vez en la vida. El anfitrión está en otro nivel. Su hospitalidad, sus deliciosas hamburguesas y, sobre todo, la pasión con la que ha ido levantando este lugar lo convierten en una joya. Es, sin duda, la mejor opción que he encontrado en mucho tiempo para desconectarme y respirar aire puro. Llegar es muy fácil, ya sea en carro o en moto, y lo mejor es que está a solo 45 minutos de Medellín. En resumen: un lugar que no solo cumple, sino que supera las expectativas. Recuerden siempre saludar con un gran abrazo a José cuando lleguen, eso le encanta.
• Guest (10/5): Un pedacito de Dios cerca a ti - Una cabaña acogedora, preciosa, rodeada de paisajes únicos, y la estancia la hace más agradable el señor José, su amabilidad, atención, alegría, la comida deliciosa que prepara.. !ojo! no puedes irte de allí sin probar su deliciosa hamburguesa y el chocolate con leche más espumoso y rico 🤤. La caminata que ofrece por el bosque con todos sus conocimientos de flores, mariposas, colibríes.. sencillamente recargas energía y llegas como nuevo a casa. Gracias por acogernos.

• Katherine (10/5): Tranquilidad - Nos encantó el lugar, la cabaña es súper acogedora, limpia y con una hermosa vista, donde se respira un ambiente de tranquilidad que se junta con el sonido de los pajaritos y de los árboles haciendo que te sientas relajado y en paz. Llevamos a mi perrito y disfruto demasiado del lugar. Para resaltar a Don José, quien fue súper atento y nos llevó a conocer un gran cultivo que tiene de flores y árboles. Es un lugar de los que se debe repetir.

The cabin was a cozy haven, offering the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Tastefully decorated with natural accents and adorned with large windows that allowed the beauty of the surroundings to seep in, it felt like a tranquil sanctuary amidst the verdant wilderness. Each morning, I was greeted by the gentle hum of hummingbirds and the delicate flutter of butterflies, basking in the serene ambiance. The Jose's hospitality was unparalleled. He ensured that every aspect of my stay was perfect. His passion for the natural beauty surrounding us was evident in every detail, from the meticulously maintained gardens to the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. Overall, my experience at this cabin, surrounded by plants, butterflies, and hummingbirds, was extraordinary. It was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, offering a glimpse into a world where time seemed to stand still and the wonders of nature were celebrated at every turn. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking a rejuvenating retreat amidst the beauty of the great outdoors.

He made us very welcome and provided us with breakfast and an evening meal at a very reasonable cost. He was also prepared to donate a large part of his day to show us around the area of Marinilla. • Santiago (10/5): Exceptional - I went with my girlfriend to have a relaxing weekend. The location is close to the town and easy to access. The cabin is very well equiped, clean and cozy. Surroundings are quiet, with a pretty mountain view. Many beautiful local birds are easy to watch since they come to enjoy themselves in the backyard. José takes care of his hosts with exquisite hospitality and he prepares delicious homemade meals. He has put himself through a tremendous effort for the reforestation of the property and the results are worthy of admiration.
