The parking is not very convenient — our car got stuck in the lift on the first day, but the host was very helpful and actively assisted us in resolving the issue.

We didn’t like the cleanliness and single key. It was difficult to move around with the single key, and the place needed to be cleaned. we vacuumed the floor and cleaned the dust from the ground. There were clothes left from previous people who stayed at apartment which we had to pick up.

• Maxine (7/5): Great location. Clean apartment. - This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment. The location is great. The apartment is clean and up to standard. As much as we appreciated having extra blankets, the cupboards were quite full so there wasn't much space for us to unpack our suitcases.

• Louise (10/5): A beautiful apartment next to train station and tram stops. Well equipped and like home from home - The apartment was like home from home. Nice to come back to in the evening and relax. Just small things but I couldn’t get Netflix working and the drier outside is needing replaced.

• Rhonda (10/5): Comfortable stay - Great location for what we needed to do, was in between 2 locations we ventured to (the MCG & Junction Oval), we used Trams to get around. South Yarra train station is just around the corner. Good choice of food around, a couple of IGA's, fast food and restaurants. Good sized bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, TV and air-conditioning, a big balcony, all you really need for a short stay.
• Camilla (7/5): Comfortable apartment in a good location close to public transport. - The location was convenient (close to a tramp stop and a train station) and close to cafes and shops. The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable stay (including kitchenware for cooking etc). It felt like it could have done with a deep clean. The bathroom especially was dusty (see photos) and the carpets could have used an extra vacuum.

• Alison (10/5): Home away from home. - Great communication with check in & check out procedures and almost immediate responses throughout our stay to questions. Big balcony with sliding door from main bedroom and living room, 2 bathrooms, well appointed kitchen with full sized fridge, microwave, 4 x hotplates, kettle, 4 slice toaster……made cooking at home a breeze. Best thing was main bed. I have a bad back and the mattress was perfect. Very firm but super comfy too. I slept better than I do at home. Great location as e writhing is a short walk away (restaurants, take away, supermarkets, public transport) & only a short train trip to Melbourne city centre. Would have preferred screens on the sliding doors leading to the balcony & fans in bedrooms so we could close doors for privacy at night as it was very hot during our stay but these were minor issues as aircon cooled the whole apartment quickly with bedroom doors open.
• Dave (9/5): Superb - Very nice modern apartment with car parking a bonus for a city visit. Very comfortable beds and was very clean. The location is very good for public transport with a team stop a couple of minutes away as is South Yarra railway station. Nothing really. The car parking is via a car lift to underground parking and there is a length as well as height restriction so a massive oversized SUV won’t fit.

• Brlinda (7/5): Great location, lower your expectations on the 'luxury' bit. - The location is exceptional, very close to the train station and tram line and 10 mins from the CBD. The apartment is small but very liveable, warm, and has a great view. Excellent balcony. Building is quiet and we felt very safe there for five nights, both in the building and the surrounding area. Half a used toilet roll for two toilets, no handsoap, multiple empty bottles of shower gel, no dishcloth, dirty oven trays, dirty empty containers for coffee/tea/sugar, dirty stained sofa, Netflix stopped working after two nights. The host knows all this as it is mentioned in multiple reviews and he asked me to check the cleanliness when I arrived. I did check and found some things but kept finding others as the stay went on and I didn't want to spend my holiday waiting around for the cleaner to arrive and fix things. He did arrange four more rolls of toilet paper and a bottle of handwash. I would like to know where the $220 cleaning fee goes.

The living area was a little tight for five people but the balcony became an extension of the living space so it was fine.

Very clear instructions were provided on accessing and closing up the apartment. The apartment is beautiful, contemporary and clean. It comes with a huge balcony and the kitchen is fully fitted out. Good heating. Location is perfect - supermarket across the Rd and just 10m from Toorak Rd and a short walk to South Yarra station and Chapel street. Would love to return back! Unfortunately Netflix wasn’t working
• Gillian (8/5): great value and location - perfect location for our visit. super close to public transport, shopping etc. comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a short stay . the hot water ran out 3 times during our 3 night stay - happened at different times of the day. staff responded very quickly when told, but little that could be done, as the water is controlled for the whole building.

Communication from host could improve. We were sent the wrong way to check in initially. On arrival the car lift was not working and host did not offer any useful assistance just told us to park on the street or the drive (which was clearly marked as a tow away zone), given the car park was a feature of the apartment this was frustrating. Host also changed location of key lock box for check out and new location was not easy to find even with the photos sent, we were then sent a rude message checking we had put the keys in the new location even though we had confirmed by message (as requested) that they keys were back in the lock box.

• Aisling (6/5): Nice apartment but more attention to detail needed - Fantastic location - near to the Botanic Gardens and lots of nice shops and cafes in South Yarra. It felt like the apartment had not been prepared for our trip - the carpets and beds were very dusty, there was no soap or shower mats in the bathroom, no dishwasher powder or bin bags in the kitchen, coffee pods did not fit the coffee machine.

• Catherine (10/5): A great place to stay - The apartment was clean and quiet. It was exactly like the photos. Yes, the bed is firm, but comfortable, and I slept really well. The kitchen is well provisioned. Loved the rainfall shower with good pressure and temperature. Smart TV with Netflix. No hallway noise or neighbor noise. Great location close to the train and tram. Many eateries also nearby. Yes, I would stay here again! Only one lift was operational. Not a dislike, but a tip: if you're a big coffee drinker, bring a supply of Nespresso pods with you as only a starter amount is provided. Same with tea bags. Otherwise, there are plenty of coffee shops nearby.
• Thanh (6/5): Bad experience - The lady host wasn’t helpful! Don’t trust her! She blamed me that I break toilet brush and wanted to charge me $50 as I didn’t break it. I wasn’t happy with her place and wanted some money back and she said yes she will give me $50 back but make up stories that I broke her toilet brush so make it even so she doesn’t have to give me $50 as promise. So you better watch out !
• Amanda (9/5): Great apartment, great location, pick this one! - Couldn't have a better location for a Melbourne holiday, fantastic for food whether you're eating out or getting supplies, and with both tram and train so close getting places is easy. Despite being so close to transport it is a quiet location (you're not on top of the train tracks like some I looked at). We stayed for ten days and there was plenty of wardrobe space in both bedrooms, plus lots of shelf space in the bathrooms and the showers to put your things. The bed is firm as others have commented, but that's how we like it so no issue for us. Communication from the hosts was excellent and Danny was very friendly and helpful in showing us how to use the car lift as we had a rental (don't be put off, it is easy) and showing us around the apartment facilities, which are excellent. When we had a question/issue they were very quick to respond. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There is a noise issue with the washing machine (needs fixing). The ironing board is a tiny table-top one and the only surface you can put it on is the desk, which has to be moved to the kitchen area so you can access power for the iron. Using it was painful (and not very effective) and I would politely suggest a full-size ironing board would be a great improvement.

It was very convenient for shopping and transportation. It could be recommended for this Alone. The bed was a bit hard for my wife. The kitchen cupboards were too high for average size people. The handles on the built in wardrobes made it difficult to open the doors.

It was nice to be away from the city and close enough to it at the same time. It was also walking distance to the train and tram stations. We only had one extra roll of toilet paper and no paper towels in the kitchen.

It was very accessible and close to public transport (both tram and train station) We were happy that its right in the middle of the City and we didn’t have any trouble finding places to eat and explore because of its location. Host. The owners, Mary and Danny was beyond accomodating. They were one of the best hostess we’ve come across to. Communication was very open and they went above and beyond for us to have the best experience. Danny helped us navigate the lift access to the parking lot and Mary surprised is with a gracing box which we loved so much. Even the kids enjoyed the selection of platters. Property. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property in the middle of Melbourne City. (South Yarra) The value for money is very good. The value extra sofa bed makes its easy to add an extra person to a family of four (4). Everything you need is pretty much in the apartment and there’s restaurant and cafe’s around the area if you prefer to dine out. The mattress in the main bedroom was a bit firm and some people might find it a bit uncomfortable. Parking. It was hard to park especially for a big car but the host was very helpful as he helped us navigate through the parking and give us tips to make it as easy as possible. Other than that, we love everything about it.
