• Jane (3/5): In need of some maintenance - Location was good Staff did respond promptly to try to help with issues. When we arrived no key in key safe despite us giving arrival time. No toilet rolls No washing up liquid or dishcloths WiFi was down, which meant TVs didn’t work. We stayed in heat wave, 34 degree temps which I appreciate is not normal uk temperatures but air con didn’t work. Rooms were unbearable, can’t have windows open, couldn’t use upstairs bedrooms on first night, rooms were approx 40 degrees! (according to thermostats). Had to sleep downstairs on sofa. Staff did try to help and provided an aircon unit next day which helped but only in one room, rest of the property was still unbearably hot. Overall the property is tired and in need of some maintenance.
• Harald4060 (7/5): - Lage, Zimmeraufteulung, Größe, Schmutzig - sauberkeit war mangelhaft, klimaanlage im Obergeschoss defekt und fenster zur Strasse konnte nicht gelffnet werden, türe zur Duschkabine in einem Zimmer undicht, in anderem Zimmer keine Handdusche nur Schlauch, 2 von 4 Esstischsessel waren Gebrochen

Mögellukt i badrum. Inga möbler på terrassen så den kunde inte utnyttjas. Inte glas/porslin av samma slag för 4 pers.

• Ming Keng (6/5): Spacious 3 bedroom flat in a nice area of London but the fittings and specs could be improved - A spacious 3 bedroom appartment in great location in Central London, close to Oxford Circus and shops, good bus routes and tube stations The lighting in some of the rooms and living area were not adequate, too dim. The front entrance lobby on the ground floor was messy. The fact that the apartment was 3 floors up with no lift should be mentioned up front, even though this is not uncommon in London and we happilly managed. The bathroom and toilet fittings were poor and old, some mould present, shower heads should be lime scaled. The pillows and sheets could be of better quality. There were no coffee pods provided despite "coffee making" being mentioned in the website.

• Ruth (8/5): - The house was in a perfect location, just off Oxford Street. There was loads of space and all the rooms were a good size. The beds were really comfortable. Having 3 bathrooms was great when traveling with teenagers. The house was well equipped. We were only there for 2 nights so didn't cook but there seemed to be everything you'd need. The hosts were very responsive. We had an issue with the heating (nothing wrong with it, we just couldn't work it out) and they got back to us quickly and stayed in touch. Communication before the stay was good too. That we couldn't stay longer!

A real home away from home If i was picky The lighting was a little dim It isnt 5* hotel luxury, but the price point and location reflect this
• Gert (8/5): Spacious and location is spot on! - Location, location location! Very spacious. Typical of buildings like that is the amount of stairs you have to climb to get to the top so not recommended for elderly. Also think the apartment was in need of an upgrade. We didnt use the shower on the top floor due to smell comping from the drains. Other than that all good.

• Barbara1974x (10/5): Ottimo! - Appartamento con 3 camere da letto e 3 bagni più cucina e soggiorno ideale per 3 coppie. Cucina completa di tutto, lavatrice, forno, microonde. A 10 minuti a piedi da British Museum e Oxford Street e a 20 da Leicester Square, oppure metro e bus nelle vicinanze più due piccoli supermercati Tesco e Salisbury a pochi passi. Il proprietario ha risposto subito a tutte le richieste e domande. Nelle vicinanze locali e negozi. Il costo è alto ma in linea con i prezzi di Londra. Per chi ha difficoltà motorie, il nostro appartamento era al 3° piano e non c'è l'ascensore e all'interno c'era un'altra rampa di scale. Se ci si muove bene non c'è problema ma valutate se avete difficoltà.
• Charalambos (1/5): Good location,bad, unprofessional, unreliable and not trustworthy manager with an old worn down flat - Location was good The property was filthy and not cleaned. The mattresses were unsuitable for a good night sleep or for any sleep what so ever. The property smelled like sewers. We found used underwear behind the bed. They had external works that blocked the sun and view and because of the workers walking up and down we had no privacy. No one informed us about external works and the price we paid didn't take into consideration this issue. On top of all the above we discussed with the director of the company that managed the property and they agreed to a refund given that we remove our review. As soon as we did they said that they agreed to find a solution and not to the refund that we agreed. So by renting this property or any property managed by this company you can find yourselves in an unsuitable apartment and an unprofessional and unreliable person to talk with.

Spacious and comfortable, all amenities available. Very minor detail: some facilities could be fixed for comfort, e.g. leak behind the toilet, broken bin in the kitchen

• Jonathanjenkins (9/5): Great apartment and sanctuary from London hustle and bustle - Brillian location, super friendly host and quick to respond to queries. Lovely quiet apartment on 2 floors with everything within reach. Only there one night but would think this a perfect base for london visitors. The a/c works well, well appointed kitchen and the rooms each have a private bathroom. A couple of minor points - nothing too important but i think worth a modest investment: 1. The bedding/linens are tired looking. Pillows and duvets thin and lumpy. Mattresses nice though 2. I stay in a lot of apartments for business and I always appreciate a small pint of milk in the fridge, maybe some welcome fruit or some such. There was a lot of good pod coffee provided and that was most welcome.
• Daniel (8/5): Nice property, just falling below the luxury category expected but it really wouldn’t take much to bring it right back t - Nice presentation, excellent location some minor cleaning issues - certain mirrors, surfaces, sheets were clean but had some staining, etc, not major issues but could do with some addressing Perhaps the property is getting a little tired - floors, door hinges etc - could use a break for deep clean and some maintenance

Great location, lots around, easy to get access, great host. Nothing really bothered me to be honest. Host was great, property was great.

• Suzanne (4/5): Well below average. - Location was good. The apartment was not as advertised. Although it has a kitchen there was not sufficient utensils to cook with. So we had to go out and eat. For a drink after our meal we had to go and buy glasses! Apartment was also dirty, messy with lots of random broken things and electric sockets were hanging off. When preparing to leave an alarm went off (we assume a fire alarm). We exited quickly but there were no instructions about what to do. Called the number of the owner and he said he would contact the property manager but no instructions for us on what to do.

• Ali (9/5): Lux apartments review - Great centrally located property. Clean and well furnished. We had an issue with the TV however Kostas was very responsive and helped to resolve the issue quickly. Even brought us a box of chocolates! Would highly recommend. Property is on 3rd floor with no lifts. So please take this into consideration and plan accordingly. Otherwise property and stay was great.
