Guest Reviews
- anonym (8/5): - This is a very charming clean apartment in the 3rd floor (lift works properly), with large fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, coffee capsule machine, kettle and a proper Moka, washing machine), bathroom with bathtube, two bedrooms with double-bed each, one with a balcony. Table, sofa, fauteuil, everything is there. Towels are provided.
It's situated close to Milan Main train station with metro and busses and close to 2 other metro stations (some minutes walk). One doesn't need a car at all. To the next supermarket it's a 2 minutes walk. There are two nice bars for breakfast (cappuccino+brioche with pistachio cream is my favourite) one to the left and one to the right at the corner.
- Anonymous (9/5): The location, view, and facilities were fantastic. The lovely balcony was a bonus we didn’t expect. - Our hosts provided additional assistance as I had broken my foot days before arriving. They were very understanding responding quickly to questions and advice on local facilities. The lift provided welcome relief and the view was magnificent. The local grocery had everything for afternoon balcony drinks. Local restaurants in few minutes walking distance served the best pasta we’ve had in the last two weeks.
- Sigitas (10/5): Great, I want to come back. - The place to stay is fantastic. Great accommodation space. Great view from the window. Considering that the building is located next to the street, it is a fairly quiet location - there is relatively no freight traffic. When booking, the landlord provided all the information perfectly - it was very easy to find the place and use the apartment key.
A few steps to the train to Lake Como. A few steps to the metro or S-train. Nearby is a grocery store, as well as local cafes offering normal prices (not for tourists). -
- Krisztina (7/5): Good - close to the train station and city center there was no hot water
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (6/5): Great location, please sort out your check in instructions. - Very close to central station so very good base to see Milan.
Lovely apartment complex. Check in instructions were incorrect which caused stress! Owner was very responsive but even with new instructions/codes, the gate code never worked - we always used the key.
On the first evening we realised there was no hot water. 70minutes on WhatsApp with owners and we finally got it sorted by increasing gas pressure and turning thermostat on. This was very stressful as we had been travelling from Germany since 4am that morning. I recommend that the boiler gets serviced. Again owner responsive but this type of issue is not something you want to deal with while on holiday and you have limited time.
Would also recommend getting rid of excess broken / unused items in apartment.
- Ivan (7/5): Nice location, Host did not provide good service - Location is close to the train station. Host did not meet us at all during stay. Place had a lot of weird things to figure out like the outlets, shower, water heater.. etc. Would have been nice for the host to show us these things. Other than that it was good.
- Gordana (1/5): Very bad stay - Only location was good. We didn't get proper instructions for check in, so we have waited for 2h in the middle of the night to enter. Furniture is very old and used, with a great amount of dust everywhere, linen and towels had yellow dirty dots and blood flecks on it. Bathroom curtain didn't protect good, so water is all around bathroom while taking a shower. All in all very bad experience.
- Stavri (6/5): Renovation needed especially the bathroom - Location Old toilet, bathtub
- Panu (7/5): Good -
- Andrey (8/5): Very good - Nice apartment with beautiful view from the window and balcony. Very convenient location near the train station, detailed and clear instructions on how to take the keys The weirdest thing is the window under the ceiling between the toilet and one of the bedrooms, at night when you go to the toilet it lights up the bedroom too, although this is not a problem for those who sleep well. And there is no shower cubicle, only a bathtub.
- Stewart (9/5): Lovely visit to Italy and would definitely come back - Thankyou to Giovanni for the clear instructions for getting into the Property
