• Valentina (2/5): Non bene - Il monolocale si trova a meno di 50mt dalla stazione della metropolitana Barbican ed a pochi km da quella di Liverpool Street,.comoda per chi arriva da Stanstead Le foto non corrispondono per niente all'appartamento che è un monolocale salvabile solo per la parte in cui è posizionato il letto alla francese Il bagno è praticamente dotato dell'essenziale ed in tutta la casa l'unico specchio presente è quello del mobile sopra il lavandino I fili della corrente e gli scarichi della lavatrice sono aperti sul muro coperti, molto male, da un pannello semicadente, con dei bambini piccoli la situazione sarebbe insostenibile È al secondo piano raggiungibile con una scala a chiocciola decisamente complicata se si viaggia con bambini piccoli e si hanno passeggini al seguito Il punto peggiore per noi è stato parlare con l'host, praticamente impossibile. Appena il pagamento è andato a buon fine abbiamo perso i contatti tanto da credere di essere stati completamente truffati a poche ore dalla.partenza. Avevamo richiesto, e ci era stato accordato con tanto di conferma in chat, check in anticipato alle 11 per poter almeno lasciare i bagagli Abbiamo fatto diverse chiamate e mandato messaggi in chat senza risposta per dover, alla fine, lasciare i bagagli in deposito a pagamento e tornare alle 15 per quello che poi è stato un self check in che si sarebbe tranquillamente svolgere la mattina Capisco che non tutto possa essere identico alle foto ed alle "promesse" ma qui si parla di qualcosa che è totalmente diverso da quanto raprresentato. Consiglio, per lo stesso prezzo di cercare altrove o di essere pronti ad adattarsi tanto, ma proprio tanto. Noi eravamo talmente tanto sfiniti dalla.situazione che siamo rimasti ma veramente con molto spirito di adattamento ed aiutati dall'idea di dover trascorrere in casa il tempo veramente indispensabile per dormire e fare una doccia. Tra l'altro due soli asciugamani, teli doccia, ed eravamo in 3.
• Dion (1/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS. IT WILL COST YOU - Did not like anything about the accommodation at all. We didn’t even get to the experience it having booked 3 weeks in advance it was somehow double booked! Owner never answers their phone, tried to move us to his “second apartment” which was also double booked, which he wasn’t aware of somehow ? Left us on the street refusing to pay for a replacement hotel or accommodation. Do not go here ! I disliked everything about the property and owner

• Mike (1/5): Have passed details to local regulators - the property substituted is non-compliant with local laws - See reality check on did not likes 30 minutes before check-in we had a text telling us we had an upgrade - total joke - to another property - completely different location and aspect. The property we stayed in was beyond dreadful - it was fundamentally unsafe. The safety issues were – stairwells/fire escape route – only one available, with material and clutter in them. No carbon monoxide alarm for gas boiler. No bedroom fire alarms. Electric shower with no isolator – so did not use once realised it was unsafe. Only one door between toilet and kitchen. Broken window glass. Not one electrical item had a current PAT certificate. Place was dirty. Appliances were filthy – i.e. microwave with dried food in it. Oven trays with burnt food on them, Freezer with food bits in it. Windows in some cases did not open, others would not close – thankfully, as needed ventilation in case of gas boiler fault. Toilet needed one to stand-up at an angle, as boiler was right above one's right shoulder - see photo. We repeatedly tried to call upon Booking.Com to move us immediately due to the safety and cleanliness issues. Multiple calls just failed to even register with staff. Request to escalate to management just resulted in the game of placing us on hold until the call timed out. We ended up telling Booking.Com staff that we were recording calls for possible legal proceedings – the staff stuff just put the phone down on us – even though the call centre states that calls may be recorded for – and do not laugh – training and quality purposes. This is an example of what happens when an agent totally drops the ball and washes its hands of a situation that places guests in a high risk situation. We have started to now communicate with regulators and local authority control departments as the subsitute property is in our view so non-compliant with core safety items that it should be shut down. Booking.

• Tonya (3/5): Very disappointing, would not recommend - Location No blind/ curtain opposite bed so bright outside through the night & no support when reported. Extractor fab in bathroom wouldn’t turn off so noise through night. Bathroom door handle fell off so problems opening bathroom. V large clock fell off wall onto bed whilst I was asleep scaring me awake.

• Alexandra (9/5): Fun quirky property at good value for London; nice and central location. - Great, central location and very cute quirky property. We loved the kitchen area and laundry facilities. The property wasn't immediately easy to find; instructions on getting there could have been a bit more detailed. We also had to proactively contact the property to get access instructions.
• Lee (1/5): This property should be avoided at all cost. - This property is a disgrace, and is not as advertised. The apartment is in a very poor state of repair and it was dirty and poorly equipped with dirt and grime on show everywhere. The fact that shower head was tied up with a ripped piece of plastic bag in a shower that was covered in pink mould sums it up. I left within an hour of walking through the door.

HOST SAID WE NO SHOWED after saying we could have a refund AND now I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED OUT OF £250+. Disgusting treatment of customers. *AVOID BOOKING WITH THIS HOST* I was supposed to stay here on 14-16th march 2025. Host called me on the day to explain it had been trashed the night before and tried to relocate us to another of his properties. very abrupt on the phone. HOST SAID WE NO SHOWED after saying we could have a refund AND now I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED OUT OF £250+. Disgusting treatment of customers.
• Henk (3/5): No value for money - This place, both entrance area and apartment are closer to a poor student estate room than a proper apartment for staying in London.

• Lada (6/5): Ok for one night stay - Location is just perfect, free WiFi, some utensils in the kitchen available. The host was not so easy to reach but when reached he solved the problem. Lot of shops and restaurants in the area. Barbican theatre just 500 m away Not so easy to find the entrance. The apartment itself was very worn off, it’s not one bedroom apartment, it’s a studio with a bed and a sofa; fridge door was broken, kitchen utensils dirty, in general it looked like there was nothing repaired or refreshed since 80s. Some old empty bottles of shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, dark hair on the floor. The overall impression is depressive.
• Ozzie (2/5): The bed was nice that’s it - The bed was comfortable and the tv was okay The washing machine was moldy, the shower was clogged, the bed had bloodstains the pillows too, the glasses in the cabinet were really dirty, the shower head was broken but I had to fix it, the bed wasn’t clean there food at the end of it, and the door didn’t function probably.

• Tony (6/5): Great location but check in needs to be better manahed - Location is great, Once had codes, access was straightforward. Supposed to be able to check in at 3pm. Waited for e-mail information. Phoned, to answer machine. e-mailed, no answer. When agent phoned back his reception was so poor I couldn't hear anything. He texted me the information, and eventually sent the info on e-mail. I didn't appreciate waiting in the cold for 40 minutes and having to chase basic check in information. Bed was weird with high wood sides, so getting in and out was awkward, more like a cot. Opened fridge door which then wouldnt close. Tea and coffee :-) but no milk sachets :-( Shower surround needs updating, bit rough.

• April (10/5): Exceptional - It was nice and a cozy place, beds were very lovely to sleep on. Very close to the tube aswell so easy to travel to different places.
