• Asees (1/5): If you care about cleanliness, dont stay here. - The sink pipe is broken and water leaks onto your feet when you use it. The owner was aware of the issue and did not care. The bathroom was DISGUSTING! The area around the sink was full of dust and crap, the mirror stained and the walls, youd want to look away. To top it off, full of cockroaches. A cockroach crawled up my foot in the bedroom and I hadn’t screamed this loud in my life.

Ai tot ce este nevoie in apropiere, de la restaurante, la supermarketuri, locuri de unde poti cumpăra bilete pentru urmatoarea destinație, stația de autobuz este peste drum, ok ca locatie. Nu poti spune ca arata ca in poze, camera e cam dezafectată as spune, din baie curgea apa, in unele locuri era cam murdar...uneori este galagie pentru ca am avut camera fix langa bucatarie, este o bucatarie comuna a blocului cred. Si deasupra se tot auzeau sunete noaptea. Am stat 4 nopti nu a venit nimeni sa ne faca curat in camera, nici sa ne schimbe prosoapele sau sa ne aduca hartie igienică...

• Sarah (6/5): - Lovely staff. Very kind and helpful. Helped with finiding places to eat, day trips and transport. Location was perfect, right by the walking street. Bed (matress on pallets) comfy and shower warm and powerful. Hosts did laundry twice for free. Provided clean bedding, towels and toilet roll whenever needed. Bathroom window didn't fully lock and a cockroach got in. We told the host who got rid of it immediately,, apologised and gave us a spray. 2 days later another got in. This may have only been an issue in our room as would have been ok if window locked. Aircon was a bit tempremental but maybe that was us who didn't know how to work it properly.

• AGNES (5/5): - L’emplacement, la douche chaude. L’adresse etait inexacte ,le logement n’affiche pas son nom ,il a donc ete difficle de le trouver malgre l’aide du voisinage. La gerante n’etait pas presente ,elle n’est arrivee qu’a 19h, j’ai du me debrouiller pour trouver les equipements. Elle avait envoye le code d’entree juste pendant mon atterrissage au vietnam alors que je n’avais pas encore de carte sim .il vaudrait mieux envoyer toutes les informations le jour de la reservation.La salle de bain etait trempee, meme tout autour du lavabo, on ne pouvait pas savoir si elle avait ete nettoyee apres le dernier usage. Le matelas est sale ,la decoration est grise de poussiere ,il y a un net decalage avec les photos qui doivent dater.
• Douard (5/5): Une chambre paq chère mais qui n'était malheureusement pas à la hauteur - L'emplacement est vraiment le gros point fort de ce logement. Également, les instructions d'arrivée envoyées par WhatsApp étaient très claires La propreté n'était vraiment pas au rendez-vous... nous avons eu quelques cafards. Aussi, le matelas est vraiment très dur, et il n'y a pas de rideaux pour empêcher la lumière d'entrer. Prévoyez donc bien un masque dd nuit ainsi que des bouchons d’oreille !

• Henna (1/5): Coackroach infestation - Host was responsive As we entered the room we realised the pictures did not do the place any justice, along with the smell of damp there was also damp peeling wallpaper the AC made the smell that much worse. We spotted a cockroach in the bathroom it scurried away so we didnt think much about it untill we started preparing for bed and saw it again and it wasnt going away. We went to the 7/11 to grab bug spray, sprayed the room and left for an hour whilst it did its job. We came back to armegeddon! I guess there was a nest because there were around 5 cockroaches crawling into the hallway, in the bedroom, on the walls and the pillows there were 15 and in the bathroom around 30. The host was helpful-ish, very apologetic though it was a known issue, she said there usually only around 1 or 2. We advised her to call a professional which she wasnt keen on. I contacted booking.com about it and it seems the host has not answered them and so i wont even receive a refund. Naturally, we didn't stay there in the end.

The room is big and feels comfortable for 2 people, even with all our bags and suitcases. We had a great time and we’ll surely book this again when we visit hcmc. A truly bang for your buck!

We were in the room on the second floor, during the night we could hear some music from the clubs, but after that you can hear only birds, so it is very chill. Place on the pictures looks way better than reality. Bathroom was not cleaned, I know it is very cheap, but please clean the place a bit better.

Peccato, la stanza sembrava carina e le recensioni erano buone, ma essendo al piano terra con delle porte che danno direttamente sull'esterno temo possa succedere spesso. All of those experiences combined with the need of a deepclean… we wouldnt recommend…

• Judith (1/5): Scam, dirty and not worth it - The only good thing is that they allowed us to check in early in the morning without charging extra. Located in a dirty alley, but the biggest problem is that the photos do not match the place, dirty and smelly, old facilities, when we arrived at what was supposed to be our room we found a woman sleeping there who did not say anything to us and simply went up to another floor to another empty room to continue sleeping, we do not know if she was a manager or another guest. On our own initiative we changed to another free room since the smell in that room was horrible. The new room also had a bad smell, the bathroom smells worse than a bar, they never cleaned it surely, not to mention the sink. A place that is really not worth it even for the location for just one night. We stayed a few hours and had a late flight. Not recommended at all, it is not worth what the owner charges. Don’t accept credit card, only cash.

The locals in the area were friendly when we walked around the small alleys too, which was lovely. The room is small, but clean and with everything you need. We extended our stay in the city and were delighted to return to this hotel!

The room is a nice size. The AC worked well. The water pressure was good. It's right next to Bui Vien street and the centre of District 1. The room could use a deep clean. You can see remnants of long time use. Not anyone's fault, but the local neighbours can get pretty loud at night.

The location is near the center, but it is in a small and dark alley. About 50m-100m away from the main road. Feel not safe if travel alone at night. ---- 3. The main door of the room is semi-transparent The light at public area affects a lot. We turn-off all the lights of the room but still bright inside. Which makes us hard to sleep. ---- 4. Look carefully of the low scores reviews and the owner's reply. The owner is not kind at all. He asked us if we can move to another room because the original room is fixing the air-con. We are already traveling so had no time carefully looking at the pictures he sent us. (Also, we can't know there is a lot of bugs through pics) We believe the room condition will be similar as it managed by the same owner. Also we thought it is easier for him to arrange things. However, the room is far worse than the pictures we saw on booking.com. We arrived super late last night so we woke up late around noon and went out to have lunch. Sent the message to him to say we can not accept the room change. We would like to cancel the following nights and we will pay for the first night. He kept saying he had already sent us the pictures and confirmed with us. Not his problem. We accept the room change. And asked us go back immediately to pay the room and check-out within 15 minutes. Even if we had told him we are having lunch and will get back after finish our meal. // Objectively speaking, - The room is not clean and had may bugs inside, but acceptable if you are not care about the flies and small spider. - For female solo travelers, consider the location because it is in a small and dark alley. Don't know if it is safe. - Main door is semi-transparent so the room couldn't be completely dark when sleep.

• Mónica (4/5): Cute room, noisy neighbors/ neighborhood - cute room, with a big bed and big windows. My room didn’t have a couch as on the photos, but it was a good size anyways. I liked the location and I felt that I was being part of the community. The owner replied fast and he/she tried to help as he/she could. When I mentioned my hernia, he/she immediately suggested a massage place and sent over some oils - which I thought it was very thoughtful. Also allowed dogs with no extra fee nor extra hassle. The room had a hairdryer - which is a nice touch About the surroundings: There was construction in the building in front so it was very very noisy the whole day. At night, the neighbors would be outside talking and laughing till 2am. I didn’t sleep much for the time that I was there. I mentioned it to the owner and he/she tried to move me to a room 50m away but the bed was on the floor and for me it wasn’t possible (due to my hernia). About the building: it was self check-in. As a female solo traveler I didn’t feel in danger but I didn’t feel safe either. It was quite easy to see the code and get in. The door in the bedroom wasn’t also very robust, so again, didn’t feel super safe. About the room itself: good size, big bed but a lot of wear and tear. The curtains needed to be closed almost all the time due to the workers outside, so it was quite dark. I felt like a mini fridge or at least a kettle with a couple of cups could be a nice to have.

• Boaz (8/5): Basically all we needed for a stay of one night! - The rooms were fine, the airconditioning was very good even though we were on the 4th floor. It has basically everything you need. The location was a bit hard to find, and on a bit of shady alley near some kind of party street, so if you’re looking to party you know where to go. The noise however was not even that loud so that was a good thing. Booking informed that the host would have taken care of the payment before arrival but this was not the case. Thats why there was some kind of misunderstanding with the host, but it was definitely not her fault. She turned out to be a lovely and caring lady and in the end she even came down to us to allow to pay.

• Hxuanmin (8/5): Nice owner, simple stay - Friendly and helpful owner. My room got a problem with A/C but she mananged to help me at 8PM. Compact room size but everything is there. It's not boutique hotel or anything just simple homestay so don't expect much. Near Bui Vien street, extremely loud at night around street area, surprisingly at the accommodation is so serene and quiet. (Approx 10-20 dB ambient). If you are not too sensitive with that, this place is for you. Entrance to the small alley is a bit hard to find. Narrow interior walkway. Security doorknob at the front door seems to have some problems. (It automatically inputs the password more than I actually touch)

It was a little bit noisy, because of the famous party street right around the corner, but we slept through it okay, it was fine

Very nice host, even if there is no physical reception you can easily communicate with her via WhatsApp and always get quick answer. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy Nothing to complain about
• Linda (8/5): Very good - beautiful small room (loved the sink next to the door, so you always wash your hands as soon as you get back from outside), lovely furniture, good if you want to be at the party street it was really loud the whole night (till 3am from the party street)
