Dylan (3/5): Mid - I liked the view from the room the rules set by the owner where annoying, the drive way into the under ground parking is too steep and damaged my car, the elevators took a very long time and were frequently stopping, the pool was shallow and underwhelming small and the bed was uncomfortable and didn’t have enough blankets or a doona and the shower and toilet both frequently didn’t work

Subba (2/5): I highly don’t recommend. - Just a room. We were on 25 th floor. Nice view room. Unfortunately, the stay was disappointing. The living area was very dirty, and within 30 minutes our feet were visibly dirty from the floor. Basic kitchen items were missing , no bowls for serving food, so we had to use whisky glasses for our kids’ cereal and porridge. There were no activities or facilities for kids. The swimming pool was very small, and the pool toilet was closed and not functional, meaning we had to go back to our room to shower after swimming. Utilities were minimal for a 5-night stay, with only a few bin liners provided. Overall, the place needs much better cleaning and better provision of basic essentials.

Ashlee (2/5): Do not recommend. Apartment is severely outdated, furniture is outdated apartment is not clean, several bandaids on the - Nothing. The staff were not welcoming nor did they acknowledge our presence whenever we saw them in the lobby. The restaurants also in the 3 days we were there, were never open, and the cleanest place seen during our stay, was the pool. It is not worth the price. Room/fixtures/furniture/everything pretty much was outdated and looked nothing like the photos provided on the booking. We opened up the cutlery draw and there were cockroaches, there were also cracks in the floor that my toddler tripped and cut her foot on, pieces of the floor missing that were just covered by a stick on piece of vinyl flooring that was nothing like the floor itself. Rooms were so dusty that I needed to air out the whole room the day we arrived. Kitchen area was dirty and dusty, to the point where I needed to clean it myself. Floor was disgusting - I ran a wipe over it upon arrival after noticing my children’s feet were dirty, and the wipe came out black - indicating that the floor had not been vacuumed nor mopped in a very long time. Dishes in the cupboards were not clean and therefore we bought disposables to use. We honestly thought highly of this hotel being semi new, however after our stay we will never stay there again. I don’t recommend this hotel, if you’re going to pay that price, pay to stay in surfers. You also get charged a cleaning fee, which is shocking because the apartment was nowhere near as clean as it should have been.

Hala (10/5): Overall, it was such a comfortable and enjoyable stay during what could have been a very stressful situation. We couldn’ - After our flights were cancelled on the night we were meant to leave, Ruby Gold Coast completely saved the day. The booking and self check-in process at 8pm was incredibly easy and stress-free. We went to the location, picked up our keys without any hassle, and headed straight to the hotel. From the moment we walked in, the hotel smelled amazing and looked so well presented. The room was absolutely perfect for our small family. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of space, and a lovely view. Everything was clean, modern, and thoughtfully set up. The pool was awesome and definitely a highlight. Honestly, nothing everything was good.

The check-in process was hard and should be reviewed, I understand it’s managed by a third-party but information regarding the check-in process should be explained better because as a parent with a young child walking to and from the key collection point after arriving at the hotel was difficult and less than ideal. The bed in the ensuited room is very uncomfortable.

Lifts kept breaking resulting in waits of over an hour to get to room. Often used the fire escape to get up and down. All of the above

Nicolle (5/5): Very disappointing for a family holiday - Close to be able to walk to beach and shops but not super close. Booking requests not complied with and no notification until I tried to confirm the day before. A cot in each room, only provided one- rooms close to each other- 7 floors apart.-multiple room keys- no extras despite being card access. Others could easily have been programmed. Couches in other room were stained. Apart from that clean and well furnished. Checkin process tried to recharge me for the room which was paid in full. Key collection was in a ridiculous place with no parking when on my own with no other driver. One unit smelt like animal urine. Management response was to send someone with air freshener. A demand sent to advise them immediately if they couldn’t access the room and no approximate time. Later we found a pool of dried sticky smelly something under a couch. No offer of room change or send cleaner to investigate. Restaurant not operational. One Lift broken our entire stay. Extremely long waits. Stairs locked so not even possible to take the stairs.

THEARD Joyce (4/5): - Bon emplacement Lorsque nous avons récupéré la chambre, le ménage était mal fait ( coton tige usagé dans le rail du placard de la chambre, tâche sur le carrelage de la salle de bain), ils sont passés une seconde fois, après ce passage, ma fille s’est coupée avec un bout de verre qui se trouvé dans le tapis du salon; pour rappel nous payons 150 dollars à la restitution du logement pour le ménage ! Nous avons demandé un lit supplémentaire, aucun Drap ni oreiller fourni et la couverture qui accompagné le lit etait tâché. Le lit a cassé lorsque mon mari s’est juste levé et on nous le facture alors qu’il n’etait pas neuf et en plus on ne nous a pas prévenu que le week-end l’intervention coûtait 300 dollars en plus. Concernant l’ascenseur nous attendions entre 15 minutes et 25 minutes pour pouvoir le prendre. Je suis extrêmement déçu.

Digital Marketing (8/5): More like Air BNB not hotel style care. - Location and comfort - really nice place to stay and internet connection was good too. I was working remoately and no issues at all. I felt I was booking a hotel, but it was more of an Airbnb-style check-in. Reception at the hotel was confused because they didn't have my booking, unlike most other guests. I had to leave my bags unattended (as the reception refused assistance), take an Uber, and go to Shop 2, which was very difficult to find. Then door of that shop which is a self entry as they send a code.. wouldnt open - it was stuck or jammed. Shop owner next door helped and with a delay of an hour i was able to get the key. I did communicate with the host via text, and they responded promptly with a generic message. They also asked for $300 Bond and you have to clean the rubbish etc before leaving. In my case i ate out so it wasnt a concern. Ok for short stay as there's no room service etc.

Regina (7/5): Not what I was hoping for - Location was good. Cooking facilities were great. Very helpful having the washing machine and dryer Having to go to get the key from a locker from an office in another part of town was a nightmare as there is no parking outside of the office or anywhere near there, especially at the time that you're able to check in. I had to have my kids sit in a car in a paid car park in front of other cars because there was no parking in there either and hope that nobody would need to get out. The main bed was broken. There were only 4 towels between 3 of us for the entire 6 days, which meant we had to wash and dry them twice a day just to make sure we had towels. This also meant we had to have the dryer running when we were going to bed, which was very noisy. Lots of other broken things like towel rails, lamps. It didn't really look like the beds were made properly. One bed has one sheet and one had 2 and ten another had 3. The photos are very deceiving as the water playground next door is shown in photos but is not part of it. And the pool should not be listed as a pool as it is so shallow you can't actually swim in it. You can barely wade in it. It's basically something you can only sit in when it's deepest point, which isn't much of it is only 1.2m

The place was with minimum information, I had to keep my eyes wide open to find the place where to get the keys from. First time experience it. The company sent bond deposit on the day of flight in a rush hour to get the key souring information when you are not able to cancel or get the refund. Apartment is on a very lower level, no view of any water or so.

Nice pool I wasn't sent the check in information and had to go to the property where thankfully someone could tell me where to access the keys 4 blocks away. I still had to call and track down instructions for how to access the keys. Air-conditioner didnt really work at all upstairs. The property has a lobby bar and lobby cafe but i didnt see either open during my stay. Furniture is quite old and scrappy.

Dilani Akeera (5/5): - The apartment itself was really nice. Spacious and had a great view. The bedroom had one blanket only. No spares. It would've been nice to have a throw on the couch or spare blanket for when we are sitting on the balcony or watching TV. The lockbox is a 22min walk (return) from the place. There were no parking near the shop so we had to do the 22 minute walk which was less than impressive as we were super tired from the day and needed the bathroom. It was super basic - no sugar for the tea/coffee. Enough milk for one coffee only for two people. No salt/pepper or oil which some airbnbs provide this day. Not enough shampoo/conditioner or body wash for the two people for two night stay.

Staff are also not helpful at all and won’t refund me, and want to charge a $150 cleaning fee on top??? Absolute joke. Save your money and book literally anywhere else
