- Paula (4/5): We would not stay there again. Too difficult to manage bags up six sets of unsafe stairs. - Close to the station . People helpful. Too many stairs, mould in bathroom, not ideal for older people. One of three beds was okay. Floor feels unstable.

Als wir ankamen, konnten wir nicht ins Haus, da uns der Betreiber trotz Anmeldung der Ankunfts- und Abfahrtszeiten ein paar Tage vorher völlig vergessen hatte. Nach ein paar Telefonaten hat er uns ein Ein-Zimmer-Apartment in einem anderen Haus mit einem sehr engen und ungemütlichen Doppelbett gegeben, in dem wir als zwei Nicht-LQGTB-Männer nächtigen mussten!

Tuve que dormir en la estación de trenes, esperando ahí la salida de lo próximo tren. Ya que el tren original se me había cancelado. Estoy a la espera de la devolución de mi dinero. Tuve que yo comunicarme con el encargado para que recién me dijera que estaba cancelada mi reserva. Muy mala experiencia. Poca respeto. Porque tienen un alojamiento como disponible en esta página si no es así. Quiero la devolución de la reserva.

The banister was filthy, there were 5 flights of stairs to get to the 3rd flat. The entryway is a broken down shop front with uneven flooring

- Duncan (3/5): Convenient to my work location but not a pleasant stay. - Convenient location. Sheets and towels were clean. The bed was uncomfortable (I think the base might have been broken). The walls showed evidence of damp - particularly around some electrical outlets which did not look safe. The apartment smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The bathroom was unsanitary (badly fitted flooring,with large gaps between laminate planks, bath felt like it was sinking into the floor and had obviously moved as all of the silicone around it had come away) and there was no shower head holder on the wall. Blinds gave privacy but did little to darken the rooms.

Kitchen well equipped. good for a short stay and longer too. Need to add a couple of chairs and a small table in the lounge / extra bedroom.
Make clearer in the property description that the entrance is in the the side road.
- Mike (6/5): Affordable, convenient, cheap and cheerful appartment with kitchen and wifi included. Good host. - This property is great for a cheap and cheerful stay with convenient access to trains, don't expect hotel quality finish, but it was affordable and clean and meant 4 of us had what we needed for our overnight stay.
Host answered questions promptly and gave us clear instructions on how to get the keys.
The property is reallly well located, just around the corner from Kings Cross and next to lots of restaurants (Rosa Thai & Flat iron reccomended) and bars (King Charles opposite is great, proper old boozer but with really lovely mix of clientelle and great music).
The bedrooms and kitchen were clean, fresh made beds and fresh towel each on arrival. Beds were comfy, wifi easy to connect to (use QR Code on back of router), really convenient having a kitchen which had everything we needed for our overnight stay.
Views made us laugh (see photos) definately did not meet expectations based on listing photos. Entry door was surrounded by bikes from the ground floor uber eats depot, which caused a bit of a kerfuffle when we tried to move bikes to get to the door.
The staircase is GRIM, really made us concerned about the quality of the accomodation, but don't be put off, as it is much nicer once you get into the appartment.
No views, one window looks onto a wall, the other onto a courtyard at the back.
Flooring in bathroom was coming apart, not very hygienic (no floor mats available so we used a towel as a floor mat), and quality of finish on all sealant was not great which means mould grows in the crevices.

Host was easy to contact to with quick answer to the questions. - it was hard to locate the key as there is no 70C on the main entrance so unsure which locer was the one for my apartment.
- steep stairs, the apartment is on 3rd floor and no lift so for someone with large/heavy suitcase it would be very difficult to managed with very messy staircase with a lot of rubbish.
- windows in the living room and kitchen with close to no natural light as covered by some outside bricks instalments
- very odd smell in the apartment
- thin wooden door as main entrance, just didn't feel safe there.

- Lisa (9/5): Great value and location - honest place - The location is perfect, just 5 to 10 minutes from the international train station. There is a cute little breakfast bistro downstairs and a pub across the street, and Tesco express just two minutes away. For the price, the room is spacious by London standards. It has a bedroom, a kitchen and a living room, where the couch can also be converted into a bed. It has excellent Wi-Fi and ironing board, washing machine, hairdryer, microwave, kettle, stove, and oven and many other amenities. The flat is functional but older and eventually needs to be renovated. The flat host Ripon is so kind and helpful- any time we had a question, he was immediately responsive and made us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again. The flat is on the top floor of an old brownstone building. It’s not fancy and the staircase is narrow but it’s typical of non- gentrified London - so actually quite cool!

Felt extremely uncomfortable when arrived. Left immediately. This is a scam. Impossible to have 8/10 score. The photo does not represent the accommodation provided.

He provided detailed information about how to use the accommodation and stayed in touch to ensure our comfort. The place matched the photos and was clean. It’s also strategically located for exploring London Zone 1. There are no major downsides, but the flat is located on the top floor, so those with large suitcases should be prepared to carry them up. However, it will be worth it once you reach the flat.

- Tiff (9/5): Superb - 10 min walk from Euston Station. Easy to find. Host was very friendly and efficient. The apartment was fully stocked with tea, coffee, cleaning product's, bathroom products. Shower was warm and had good pressure. Apartment is very clean.
Towels were soft and fluffy. Extra bedding was available. Mattresses were firm and comfortable.
I would use again It's up three flights of stairs that are steep and narrow.
The apartment was very humid it could do with a fan. (Weather was 23 degrees) The windows are single pained, old sash push up. It would be chilly in the colder months due to draft.
TV was intermittent due to a damaged connector to the cable. Host assures me this will be fixed and I believe him as he was such a helpful host.
Decor is tired and worn especially the bathroom however it is very clean and tidy and as a base it's very convenient.
