• Sarah (10/5): Really nice stay - would return! - A very comfortable and affordable place to stay. Easily accessed as a main road is just above the apartment, and straight down the hill is Old Town. Very helpful and pleasant hosts, comfortable bed, practical kitchen and washing machine, nice outdoor space. View of the water and town is limited unless you are in the upper apartment but lower apartments have a very nice garden atmosphere and more privacy. Owners are older couple with a very green thumb - they shared a delicious homegrown grapefruit! If you are planning to spend a lot of time inside the apartment, the living room is not great for hanging out. But if the weather is good outside is better anyway, and hopefully you are out exploring Dubrovnik most of the time!

Appartement très propre, à côté de la vieille ville mais attention quelques marches à descendre et à remonter pour rejoindre l’appartement. Mieszkanie bardzo czyste, przestronne, z wszelkimi możliwymi udogodnieniami w postaci AGD, tv, wifi itp. Świetny kontakt z właścicielem zarówno mailowy jak i osobisty. Przywitał nas osobiście, mimo bardzo późnej pory przyjazdu, przekazał niezbędne informacje o transporcie, wraz z rozkładami, gdzie są sklepy, co warto zobaczyć itp itd. Dodatkowo przesłał podsumowanie tego przez whatsappa. Okolica cicha i spokojna, a także bezpieczna. To był dla nas bardzo przyjemny pobyt!

• PRUGNOT (9/5): - Rapidité de la réception des clefs. Un logement prêt à nous accueillir avec une boisson dans le réfrigérateur !
• Rene (10/5): Prachtig verblijf bovenin Dubrovnik - Het huis is zeer comfortabel. Drie slaapkamers met goede bedden, twee badkamers en een keuken met fornuis, magnetron, koffiemachine (met bonenmaler en mogelijkheid van cappuccino) en uiteraard koelkast met vriesvak. De eigenaar had gezorgd voor alvast een paar flessen water (water uit kraan is ook drinkbaar) en een pak appelsap. Met de eigenaar zeer plezierig contact, we kregen goede tips van hem en hij was zeer behulpzaam. Niet een echt negatief punt, want het staat goed omschreven en we wisten het dus, maar het huis is in het bovenste deel van Dubrovnik. Dat betekent aardig wat trappen van en naar het centrum (ca 15 minuten). Alternatieven zijn er ook, onder andere enkele buslijnnen!

• angela (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt und herausragender Gastgeber – die Stufen lohnen sich! - Traumhafter Aufenthalt bei einem perfekten Gastgeber Alles war einfach top! Ja, es sind 472 Stufen von der Altstadt zum Apartment, aber das weiß man, wenn man nach Dubrovnik reist – die Lage entschädigt für alles. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Dario, unser Vermieter. Er ist unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben vorab alle wichtigen Infos (Bus, Supermarkt, Fähre nach Lokrum etc.) bequem per WhatsApp erhalten. Dass wir unser Gepäck früher im Apartment abstellen durften, war ein toller Service. Dario hat uns sogar vorgewarnt, dass nachts andere Gäste anreisen und es lauter sein könnte – wir haben aber absolut nichts gehört. Wir haben uns rundum bestens betreut gefühlt. Klare Empfehlung! A localização é excelente, o apartamento é impecável — amplo, superestruturado, com tudo que precisamos para uma hospedagem perfeita. Os quartos são espaçosos, as camas e travesseiros muito confortáveis, os lençóis macios e tudo extremamente limpo. O anfitrião Dario foi sensacional — super receptivo, organizado e atencioso. Deixou um quadro com o mapa da cidade, indicando pontos turísticos, supermercados e paradas de ônibus. Outro diferencial foi o cuidado com os detalhes: havia grãos de café para moer, máquina de cappuccino com café extra, e até uvas fresquinhas colhidas na entrada, que usamos no café da manhã. Um verdadeiro encanto! A vista da varanda é maravilhosa — conseguimos ver o mar e até o pôr do sol. Sobre as escadas, vale apenas uma observação: elas realmente existem, mas para quem não tem dificuldade de locomoção, são tranquilas. Nós descíamos a pé e voltávamos de Uber, sem nenhum problema. Recomendo de olhos fechados! Uma hospedagem completa, acolhedora e com excelente custo-benefício. Nada a reclamar. Somente agradecer a Dario por tudo ❤️

Apartament jest na wzgórzu, ok 15 min do Stareg Miasta, niestety po schodach. Jest to trochę męczące dla osób starszych lub o słabej kondycji. Jest bdb wyposażony i z pięknym tarasem. Klimatyzacja działa i jest cichutko w okolicy. Polecam Lokalizacja wysoko jest uciążliwa ale taki urok Dubrownika:)

The location is great, with helpful instructions from the owner on how to find it. It would be helpful to have a second mirror outside of the bathroom but other than that the place was perfect.

The walk down to the old town was amazing aswell with great views of the town. Dario was an amazing host, couldn’t get more helpful had great recommendations and was able to answer any questions we had, made the experience in Dubrovnik so much easier with how helpful he was. Let us store our bags with him the day we were leaving so we could explore Dubrovnik more. Air con was great in the apartment and facilities overall. There’s a shop close by also and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make food. I saw some reviews mention the stairs up to the apartment from the old town but honestly they weren’t bad at all the steps in the actual old town were far worse and there is a way to go back to the apartment with mostly a slight slope. The apartment is also accessible by bus and taxi if you don’t like stairs but honestly weren’t bad. Best place to stay in Dubrovnik wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. Loved it have no complaints
• Russ (10/5): Stay at Rooms Stella - This is a very comfortable apartment with enough room for 1 or 2 to spread out a bit. The grape arbored patio is a delight for morning coffee and to catch the evening breezes. The apartment is clean and appointed nicely for cooking in the kitchen. It is also a fairly short walk to the walked city and the harbor. The trail to the top gondola stop is just across the street. Dario, your host, aside from being a nice guy, is exceptionally helpful with points of interest and buses. I am strongly considering returning to Rooms Stella next year. I admit that when Uber was taking me there, I was very concerned that I was never going to leave the apartment once I got there. EVERYTHING in the city is up very steep hills. However, that concern was put to rest. Yes, the hills are steep, but they are manageable. I'm in my mid 60s and didn't have an issue with them.

• Eleonore (9/5): Overall great stay - The place was very well equipped and spotless. The area is very safe and quiet. The terrasse and the garden are beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and available. They gave us a lot of information & tips. It was a bit frustrating not to see the sea from the terrasse. I thought we would, based on pictures, but it's only from the top floor. The ground floor doesn't have a seaview, and I didn't find it clear in the description. There are a lot of stairs to access the place from the old city (300+ steps), which I underestimated and it gets very tiring at the end of the day.

• Lisa (10/5): dubrovnik stay. - The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated, it had everything you could need for a lovely stay even down to the umbrella which luckily we only needed to use once, there's a washing machine if you are staying longer, and the host had put cold beers and drinks in the fridge for when we arrived, which was greatly appreciated after our travels, Dario met us at the property and gave us all the useful info for the area including bus timetables and ticket info, would definitely stay there again. nothing, loved the place.

The washing machine was really useful. Fantastic stay. Everything was brilliant about our stay.

• Manuel (10/5): Exceptional - Dario was one of the best, if not the best, host I have ever met in any booking app. He received us very late (2am) with an extremely amicable and polite approach, despite our late arrival due to a delayed flight. He gave us a lot of tips regarding Dubrovnik. He helped us to store our luggage for some hours in the day we left and even received us in his home with some juice. His energy was always positive, and he was always looking to improve our stay somehow. As for the house, I think it was one of the tidiest and most well equiped apartments I have ever been to, besides from being clean and having a cozy and private environment. I would recommend staying with Dario anytime, do not miss the opportunity!
• Dominica (10/5): Great value for money for Dubrovnik high season - Spacious for 2 people with great cooking facilities and terrace. Lovely to meet the host and chat through the transport and attraction options. The walk in to the old town is very easy, but there are many stairs on the way back up (unavoidable in Dubrovnik!) The host and apartment is great, just note that there are other apartments so if they are noisy this may affect your stay. We did not have any issues with the group upstairs though when we stayed!

The hosts were exceptionally nice without being intrusive. They provided a lot of useful information especially because we were traveling with people who had issues walking in a city of stairs. I would take off the door to the kitchen which was just in the way. Other than that it was wonderful

• Jean-michel (8/5): The apartments are great and with good sound isolation. Host was helpful - Location is a double edge sword: it is at the top of the city. So cheaper and quieter at night. While it's not a problem going down (10-15 minutes of walking down stairs and you are in the old city), it might be an issue going back up. With the bus, we never had any problems. There is a stop just above the hotel on the main road which allows you to go down a flight of stairs and straight into the apartment. Relying on taxi would be too expensive. Of note, we had a large group of young people staying in the other apartments. Closing the windows meant we didn't hear them at all and the AC (double units) meant we slept nice and cool. Otherwise, no sound, very quiet neighberhood
• Atila (9/5): Amazing Experience - Very clean, good space with nice air conditioning, the host was lovely and super friendly. The location is great, close to shops, bakeries and the city centre. There was plenty space and the area was nice and safe and quiet. The only thing i could possibly complain about, and that's being really picky is just that the pillows on the bed were bad, but really this site is forcing me to write something bad and i need to write more to move on smh

The apartments were very clean and spacious, plus the view was wonderful from the balconies! This isn’t anybody’s fault but be mindful that to get to the Old town or the beaches you will have to go down the stairs for at least 15 minutes, therefore going back home will be even harder because you’ll have to go up quite a few sets of stairs 🙂
• Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Dario and his family were lovely. The apartment was clean and well equipped (kitchen could have a larger range of knives & cooking equipment but it was reasonable for easy meals). The bed was very comfortable. Nice modern bathroom with a washing machine. Outdoor terrace. No indoor clothesline for hanging clothes, but there is one outside - when it rains though it makes it more difficult. A little far from the centre but its a nice (hilly) walk and is close to a popular hike for a view over Dubrovnik.
• Newton (10/5): Dubrovnik was incredible and this accommodation was a lovely addition! - Our host was so helpful and lovely! I left my phone at the property and he spent an hour or more trying to get it back to us before our bus departed. I would stay here again just because of how incredible he was to us! The apartment was exactly what we needed for the few days we were there, and the location was great!
• Daniel (10/5): Perfect apartment sitting above a gorgeous city! - Dario was the most warm and exceptional host. He offered us awesome recommendations, was incredibly responsive, and even let us generously borrow his parking spot for a night when we had to rent a car for a day trip. He truly went above and beyond. We would be thrilled to stay here again next time we are in Dubrovnik!

• Gabriela (10/5): Excelent! - The host was perfect, always available to help if needed. The house is well equiped and everything works. Nothing. There are a lot of stairs but thats a feature of the whole city. Bare in mind there are no official parking (very hard as it gets closer to the old town). We managed to park at a public parking with a much apreciated help from Dario but there’s up to your luck. Avoid cars if you can.
• Jane (8/5): Perfect location for visiting Dubrovnik - Fantastic, convenient location, very close to centre. Lots of steps to navigate to get there but we were aware of that. Lovely terraced area for sitting outside. Very helpful owner who gave some good tips on visiting places - and also kindly posted a T-shirt left behind home. Can’t really think of anything.
• Kim (8/5): Nice little property with welcoming owners - The property was large and equipped with nearly everything that is required. The only thing that is missing is a toaster. The owners are fabulous, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property although it’s not suited to anyone with limited walking ability due to the number of steps down to the old town. I personally loved the walk down every morning and you can easily get the bus back up if required. It’s a little dated but not enough to prevent me from renting it again.

• Sotiris (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment is 2 km's from the old town. 15 minutes to go and 20 minutes to return. the return had a lot of steps that were too tiring to climb (almost 300).

• Brooks (6/5): Lovely hosts, clean apartment, basic but good value for money. - It was clean and the hosts were lovely. I think the photos reflected the best option of what the hosts offer. The reality did not quite match what was portrayed - the view of the sea was barely visible.

• Vera (6/5): Very expensive! - The car parking is hidden and very tough to find out The worst shower we got in 3 weeks trips for 5 countries Despite the city center is 600mts distance the way to get there is all by stairs ( around 400 steps)
