• Rosanna (10/5): A perfect stay in Santiago - Fantastic location to explore Santiago! The room and bed were very comfortable and warm despite it being quite cold outside. We saw reviews about the noise but it was not a problem for us despite me being a light sleeper. Marianne was a fantastic host - she was very responsive and gave us lots of advice for visiting Santiago. She stayed up late to let us in as our flight was arriving late from Bogota, and when we were leaving she even made us vegetarian sandwiches for our early morning flight! The breakfast was also fantastic! We would definitely stay here again - hopefully one day soon we will come back! We only wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights!

• Natalie (10/5): Generous and helpful hosts in a beautiful part of Santiago. The perfect place to rest and explore on arrival in the city -
• Hendrik (10/5): The perfect location for exploring the center of Santiago - The room is spacious, the windows facing a city park. The main touristic sites start right across the street, you can explore the entire historic center with no more than an hour walking distance. The metro is also close by and easy to use. The hosts are very friendly. We arrived much earlier than planned, but one of them was alreday at home waiting for us. They had a plentyful breakfast ready for us each morning and good recommendations for the restaurants in the vicinity. The room is next to a road. It's quite a small one, but even a single "tuned" motorcycle at night can wake you, if you're a light sleeper.
• Fiona (10/5): Beautiful stay with excellent host - Marianne and dog Luna were so welcoming and made us feel at home. The beautiful apartment is opposite a lovely park in a great neighbourhood with lots of good restaurants and walking distance to main attractions. I got some interior decorating ideas because the apartment is so lovely. Marianne was very kind - for example, adjusting our breakfast to our taste and giving really helpful recommendations on where to go. Nothing- all perfect.

• Valkyrie (10/5): Delightful spot, very convenient with great hosts - The hosts are so lovely, and the location is right downtown, close to the metro, shops, and sights, as well as the highway to the airport. The price was very reasonable for a room including breakfast. Overall, the space itself is cozy and full of cool art. We visited in late spring, and the fan provided kept the room a very nice temperature. This is more of a comment for booking.com than for the hosts, because they were absolutely wonderful, but I wish that booking had an explicit place for properties to write how payment is handled (cash only, in this case) so that travelers know what to expect.
• Etajak (10/5): My stay was very good. Next time will want stay much longer a week - Environment I found my host very loving and very hospitable. For me it was a home away from home. Lastarria is a place I would recommend anyone to stay. We had family chats, they got to know my family and children. My break fast was always served at the time I needed. My host supported always in getting Uber taxis that took us most of the days especially in the morning hours. Thanks to Carlos and Marianna my hosts at Lastarria. Note: the taxis tended over price us on our return trips from our meeting venue. This happened most of the times when ordering ourselves but am happy my host guides on average costs and ways to around this. Carlos and Marianna advised to always ask the Uber to turn on the car metre, which we later found helpful

• Judith (9/5): Perfect place to explore Santiago! - The location of the is super central, next to a green park and the lively Lastarria neighborhood. Carlos was a great host - relaxed and helpful. The dog, Luna, gave us a warm welcome :) The room was a pretty cold even though it was warm outside. Good to know: it's a real B&B, so the room is within the hosts appartment. For us this wasn't a problem at all - the hosts gave us enough privacy and it was nice to talk to them a little.
