• Willemina (5/5): Average - Good location The blind in our bedroom didn’t cover the window and it felt like people could look into our room during the night. I did write to Nomad Apartments (providing footage so they could fix it for future clients) but never received a reply. I was very disappointed as they are very quick to take a deposit (€350) for any damages but didn’t have the decency to reply.

It was my partner’s birthday during our stay and they surprised us with local beers completely free of charge, which was such a thoughtful touch and really made the trip feel special. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their kindness and hospitality genuinely made the holiday even better. It's a beautiful town but I feel like I could have experienced it far better of I'd visited when more restaurants were open, boat trips were running, etc

• AntoineMlll (10/5): - L'emplacement est exceptionnel, impossible de faire mieux ! Appartement propre, bien équipé, lit confortable, douche agréable. Il y avait juste le chauffage qui semblait en panne mais un chauffage d'appoint avait été prévu avant notre arrivée et était en marche.

De airco in de woonkamer werkte niet dus stond er een klein warmte blazertje in de woonkamer om de hele ruimte op te warmen. Dit was niet echt voldoende. Er was ook niets over gecommuniceerd. Het rolgordijn in de slaapkamer is veel te kort. Waardoor er nog licht binnen komt en inkijk is. Dit lijkt me eenvoudig op te lossen door een nieuw rolgordijn te hangen met de juiste afmetingen.

• Erwin (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf in een erg ruim appartement op een ideale locatie. - Prachtig ruim appartement met een heel mooi uitzicht. Comfortabel bed, lekkere douche en de incheck procedure was ideaal. Midden in het centrum, perfecte locatie. Parkeren is op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen maar wel duur, ongeveer 25 euro per dag. Gratis parkeren is niet beschikbaar.

It was a deposit that was over three times the amount of what I paid for the one night stay. I found that inconvenient. That was my only gripe. Otherwise great stay.

The apartment is very central overlooking the church and river and Sandra was very helpful and responsive in arranging access and answering questions. Plenty of room to escape the busy streets of Dinant and good, clean well equipped accommodation. There is no lift so lugging 2 x 20+ kilos up to the top floor was an unexpected workout.

Did not know about the multiple flights of stairs, thankfully the helpful host helped us with luggage. Checking in was relatively easy and punctually at 3pm. Host also gave us welcome drinks and there is timed air-conditioning at the apartment. All in all, a comfortable stay for one night. The room especially the bathroom had a strong smell of cigarette smoke.

The 61 steps up to get to the apartment is a free workout 😁 I read reviews from about a year ago where people complained about the bedroom curtain being too short and that would be taken care of. Well, the curtain is still too short one year later. Luckily I can sleep whether it's light or dark, but this shouldn't be too hard (or expensive) to fix.

It was very nice for Sandra‘s husband and one of their workers to help bring our luggage upstairs. It was nice to have the ability to make tea and breakfast in the apartment and store things in the refrigerator. The air conditioner/heat worked great for our first night there. It would be nice to have some conditioner in the shower and some hand lotion. The AC/heat was not working on our last night. Sandra was going to come by to check it but never made it over. That made for an uncomfortable last afternoon and evening.

A few minutes walk from the train station, you round a corner and see the magnificent cathedral and river. The outside of the apartment block belies it, as it is beautifully decorated and maintained inside. The host - Sandra very kindly left some beers, and was so responsive to messages sent, and even entertained my pigeon french ! She was very accommodating and happy to help. Overall, I couldn't fault this apartment and would most definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Dinant. Beautiful views and a gorgeous apartment - what more could you ask for ! A lift if someone couldn't do stairs

Was immaculately prepared. Location idea overlooking the Maas and the Citadel Nothing at all to put us off. Just should be aware third story apartment and no lift. Ok for us but be aware but worth it when you get there
• Emelie (10/5): Great location, clean apartment and lovely host! - We had a lovely one-night stay at this great location in the centre. The communication with the host was good and fast, especially when we had a small issue with the keycode, this was resolved in under 1 minute! The apartment is well-equipped, clean and quite large (for 2 people at least). Especially appreciated the nice shower after a long day mountain-biking in the hills around Dinant. Walking distance from the train station and close to plenty of restaurants. We stayed on the top floor, which was quite a few steps carrying our bags. Not a problem at all for us or anyone looking for an active stay in the Ardennes, but just be aware of this before booking.

Carrefour supermarket and bear shop around the corners, a big choice of cafes/restaurants/terraces next door. Host was prompt replying in WhatsApp. It was nice to find a welcome beer upon the check-in. No parking place, but it is clear due to the central location. We had an apartment on the 3rd floor without lift - not a problem for us, but you have to be prepared. Bathroom amenities (shampoo & shower gel) are not provided, but also no biggie for us.
