• CHING-WEN (3/5): - Dyson 吹風機、床還挺好睡 冷氣不冷有霉味，開了不冷很悶吹了頭暈，房間清潔度不足，衛浴設備簡陋、水壓大，但蓮蓬頭用塑膠的支撐不起這麽大的水壓！雙人房星期五、六一晚要將近NT4000的房費，真的沒有NT4000的價值在，CP值不高！
• Zhi Yuan (1/5): Book other established hotel for better service and quality - Room is clean and new The female receptionist when we checked in is polite The male receptionist when we checked out is unhelpful and rude. He advised us to use Uber but my Uber was down at the moment and he seemed unfazed. We tried to ask him to call a cab to our next hotel but he told us to go out to the roadside and get a cab ourselves. We had 3 large luggages and 2 carry on luggage, wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all You may get better service from other established hotel in Taipei area.

Instructions that I left with the front desk were well conveyed to the housekeeping staff. Felt safe with the 24hr reception in a bustling location and key card access after 10pm. Also appreciated the free water dispenser and 2 tables for sitting in the lobby. Thin walls meant that I was woken up on two night by loud noises – including a cat mewling in the alley. But it’s to be expected. Just wear ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

• Stephanie Rae (10/5): I really loved our stay here. It's a small inn but has everything we need. I would recommend to anyone! - The place was very clean. It had a bidet and a Dyson Airstrait. There is enough space in the room to lay out your luggage. The staff were all so nice. The location is away from the main Ximending walking district, but I actually prefer it that way. It's not too far, maybe a 5-7 min walk. There is a 711 and Family Mart nearby and there are also local breakfast shops nearby. Although it's in an alley, it was pretty safe to walk in, even with a kid. Just don't look out the windows in the room because the view will be abandoned buildings. 😂 But that didn't really affect our stay. One suggestion is to add a full-length mirror in the room.
• JASMINE (10/5): Overall, the hotel really good, and we had a very pleasant experience. - The location is very convenient. Clean, well-sized bathroom with a warm toilet seat and a legit Dyson hair dryer! The room was spotless, matching the property photos, although I couldn’t find the exact image of the room we stayed in. Another thing I really appreciated was the luggage storage service- even though check-in is at 3 p.m., you can safely leave your luggage with them before check-in or after check-out, which makes traveling much easier. The shower itself was great, but the drain sometimes drained the water a bit slowly. Also, in our room there was only one power socket for charging. It wasn’t a big issue for us, but having more sockets would definitely be better. I’m not sure if this applies to other rooms. That said, the staff were very kind and lent us a power adapter since we forgot to bring or buy one suitable for the local sockets, which we really appreciated.

• Geovanni (10/5): Cat Tail Pocket Inn will be on top of my list whenever visiting Taipei - Staffs are available 24/7, warm and accommodating. There are a lot of nearby shops to try taiwan food. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Also, plus points for having Dyson hair dryer. Elevator is just enough for two people with luggages at a time

Its very good compared to many of the other hotels in the area. Very strict on check in/out times, but as expected as i didnt pay more, sometimes hotels will give you a little leway and it feels nice.

• Lovely Ann (10/5): Highly recommend - Upon entering the lobby, we were already impressed by the clean and modern look of this place. The staff was very friendly and approachable. You can also get free coffee/tea/juice in the lobby. The room was very clean and cozy, there’s a vanity with a dyson hairdryer. There’s also youtube and netflix on the TV. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was very clean. The toilet is also a japanese-style toilet with bidet, which was very convenient. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash was also really great. You can request to clean your room and change towels every day, and the towels smelled fresh every time. The place is only a few minute walk to Ximending Shopping District and Ximen Station. It’s close to main attractions and foods, also there’s Family Mart nearby. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again if we come back to Taipei! Staying here will make you feel like the owner is really particular about the small details and aspects of the place :) I’m very glad I found Cat Tail Pocket Inn Ximen branch :) Nothing, the elevator’s a bit small but it’s not really a problem. It’s an excellent place for a good cost! :)

• IAN PAOLO (6/5): Very accessible to everywhere but room is smaller that what I’ve expected. - Very accessible to the road, in a quiet street, and it is walking distance to ximending night market. The overall hotel especially the lobby and entrance is neat. I booked it because it looked decently spacious in the photos. However, the room was smaller than what I have expected I cannot even open my luggage within the space available. It’s fine for solo travelers who wish to stay in the area for a night only. The bed is also small steps away from the toilet so you can smell the aroma of the restroom. I feel like a deodorizer can make it smell better.

• Abigail Wenling (10/5): Overall, a really pleasant stay. Great customer service. They were willing to hold my luggage upon my check-out for a fe - This was my favourite hotel to stay in out of the 3 places I stayed in Taiwan. The hotel is located at the end of a side street, away from hustle and bustle of Xi Men. The street noise with car sounds is fairly minimal once it gets late around 11pm. I stayed during weekdays so unsure about Fri and weekends. I could hear occasional noise from neighbors opening and closing the doors but that’s all. The hotel has a really cute, cat themed design throughout the place. The deluxe hotel room itself was good for me as a solo traveller but could work with a couple too. I really appreciated the night light provided as someone who does not sleep well in new places. Everything else in the hotel room made the stay really comfortable - bed, quilt, pillow, fridge, water, toiletries, a really big tv. I had really good sleeps here. There is also a small lounge area on the ground floor to eat. The hotel is fully manned with someone onsite 24/7. That made me feel really safe as solo female traveller. The front door locks after 11pm with a required swap card to enter. If not, there will be someone at the desk. 😊 Wifi didn’t work at all in the room but only common lounge area. I used 5G in my room. No washing machines or dryer on site.

• monica (10/5): La coda del gatto a Taiwan - Ci è piaciuto tutto, l'hotel si trova in una posizione favorevole per raggiungere in pochi minuti Ximending / Ximen. La struttura è nuova e gestita in maniera professionale da tutto il personale che è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. La camera è sufficiententemente spaziosa,letto e cuscini comodi e bagno dotato di prodotti per la doccia e un wc giapponese con seduta riscaldata. Un complimento alla Signora delle pulizie per l'ottimo lavoro svolto facendoci trovare ogni giorno la camera pulita e profumata. Insomma se venite a Taipei tenete in considerazione questa struttura perché merita! Aria condizionata sul letto molto forte.
