• Ellie (9/5): Amazing house 🏠 - House was amazing, very spacious and amazing views A little far from the station but a short bus ride was not bad at all.
• Fiachra (9/5): Unique stay in a historic house on the edge of the old town with panoramic views of the city - The house and location are perfect, only 10 minutes to the old town centre. Easy getting there, just be prepared for the climb of the stairs back up :D It was the perfect bit of light excercise after a night of rosti and beer. Art Deco-Haus itself is phenomenal. A truely unique experience in an original historic building overlooking the Biel (or Bienne...) All rooms have their different character and the main living area has a panoramic balcony to view the whole town. The furniture is classic and comfy. The games rooms are an added bonus where you can challenge friends or collegues in the time between coming home or going out. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need to cook for yourself. The temperature (we stayed there mid November) is comfortable throughout and there is plenty of hot water. We always found parking right outside the door. Free parking between 8am and 6pm which was fine for us as we were out all day. Key box is easily found and used. The communication from the hosts was always prompt and warm. I travelled with colleagues for work when working in the area but would have no problem staying with family and friends. It was certainly given a seal of approval by everyone on the last night. Due to the age of the house and its plumbing, if you are up the top floor, it may take 4-5 minutes for the water to get up to temperature. You are told that from the begining so, you just plan your shower accordingly! Not a big deal If you are not into climbing a steep flight of steps from street level to the road the house is on, you can either take the long route or... hire and taxi ;D It is an old building so, it should be a surprise it has a few quirks like steps in the middle of door thresholds you will trip once or twice but, it's part of the character.
• Rashid (9/5): Superb - Very lovely layout. Kitchen was perfect and very accommodating as well as every bedroom. Everything was perfect and very comfortable, and very spacious. We enjoyed our week here very much and felt right at home. It was quite hot in there, so I asked him for fans, and he provided us 3 fans. There are no locks on the bathroom. However, minor issue.
