• Tyler (4/5): Not worth the money. - Couldn’t fault the staff on the check in process, very attentive. Noticed later in the day that the cleanliness of the apartment was disappointing. Furniture had various stains. Floors were dusty and not noticing until it was later at night the bed sheets a duvet were also full on marks/stains. Areas of the apartment looked like they had been broken and had a patch job to sort them. Not sure if the apartment was cleaned properly after the last guests or what. Disappointing as if we booked the place from the photos on booking.com it would have been a great apartment!

• Metsaviir (1/5): 1/10 - You don't get what You pay for! - Fairfax Place 6 is located in a lovely neighborhood. However, the apartment doesn’t get much natural light, which, in my opinion, is a downside, as the apartment is located in the basement floor. For transportation, public transit options such as buses and trains may be available nearby. If you prefer driving, there are likely major roads or highways within easy access, as well as bike-friendly paths for cyclists. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft can also be convenient. In terms of nearby activities, you can explore local cafes, parks, and shopping centers. Gyms, fitness studios, and recreational centers could also be within walking distance, as well as cultural spots like museums, theaters, or art galleries. The overall condition of this apartment was far below my expectations, especially considering the price. I was expecting much more for the money. Everything in the flat feels worn and somewhat dirty. The carpets are full of visible stains and marks, as are the chairs in the living room. The kitchen cabinet doors feel like they’re about to fall off when you try to open them, and the dishwasher handle is literally hanging on by a thread. The living room cabinet lacks hangers and vertical rails, and it feels grimy and unclean, as if it hasn’t been properly washed in a long time. On the very first day, my partner and I went to bed, only for her to literally sink through the mattress and hit the floor. When I lifted the mattress, I found that some of the bed’s support beams were broken (check the pictures below), something that should have been noticed when the bed sheets were changed. The bathroom has a bath, but unfortunately, the only thing that works is the shower. The remote for the bubble bath doesn’t function, which was quite disappointing.

• Katarzyna (6/5): Good location, but quality and comfort strongly average, - very good location, the flat is old, it has dirty walls and dirty windows, one of the windows does not close and it was cold in the evening, in the living room you cannot pull the blind up, it is rushed, so there is no view out of the window, the flat definitely needs freshening up, VERY loud upstairs neighbour, you can hear everything day and night. No one contacted us before we arrived, no one sent us the address, we had to ask for the address and keys.
• Imad (5/5): Passable - Cleaning. All appliances were available AC was good. Quite Safe The location wasn't the same as shown while booking, it has been changed when reaching. The apartment is in a basement, and that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the booking description. The apartment pictures were mixed with other apartments, which confused, so literally, you don't know which one you are booking. WIFI is not working because the apartment was in a basement. The TV is not working because it was not connected to any cables.

And it was really a safe nei - The location was good and safe with good amenities near by. The beds were uncomfortable. The tv was not working. Wifi was patchy, almost non existent and cannot connect to Data unless you walked outside the house.

• Gary (1/5): Paid for 3 nights and only stayed for one! - I can not honestly say that I liked anything about 6 Fairfax Place in London. Bookings.com should be ashamed of being associated with the people running the apartment and the property itself. EVERYTHING! To give you an idea of how bad the apartment was we paid for 3 nights (450 GBP/night) but only stayed 1 night. We booked a hotel (Marriot) for the last 2 nights. The apartment is disgusting!!! From my first communication, the people running Stay Kensington & Chelsea were extremely elusive. I wanted to stay in a specific apartment on the Kensington high street. I received a message from Stay Kensington that stated something like, “we can not promise you the unit you want but will provide a similar unit in a similar location”. That did not turn out to be true. They provided the apartment # the day that I arrived from the US. They were very difficult to communicate with as they would not answer their phones or email. By the time I finally connected with a 20-something young man wearing a t-shirt and baggy jeans my blood was boiling. He then proceeded to underwhelm me with his lack of knowledge about the apartment. Not exactly the Ritz! The apartment is a basement dwelling, poor lighting, and the smell of mildew assaults your nose as you enter the unit. The cabinet doors in the kitchen look like they are about to fall off, the WiFi is a hack with the cable running along the wall, the apartment had A/C but it had not been turn on so the place was warm, the configuration of the apartment is ridiculous. You’d have to see it to believe it. The bathroom did not have a door. Oh boy, I sure enjoyed hearing my wife going to the bathroom…Visa versa. The entry from the bedroom to the bathroom was maybe 5’ 10” tall. The bed was as hard as a rock. The bathroom that I used did not have a shower. As a publicly traded company you should not be doing business with these people. You should be vetting the properties that you represent/sell more carefully. I will never book another room through your site and will do my best to discourage my friends and family from using your site. Terrible experience!

• Fiona (6/5): Okay, great communication from host. - Quite a roomy flat with two bathrooms. Beds very uncomfortable and it was a basement flat which we did not realise and also quite a long walk from tube stations, particularly with children or when raining. We also had the power fuse a couple of times and the dishwasher didn’t work.
