• Maria del Rosario (9/5): Comfortable apartment in a very central location. - The location was extremely central, and easy to get everywhere. I arrived on a Saturday, when the office (which is a little way away, apparently) was closed, but someone from the staff met me in front of the apartment to give me the key, and they allowed me to check in a bit earlier than the normal time, which was great. There's plenty of space in the apartment -this is not a small, pokey place, but a comfortably sized one, including the bathroom and shower. It's also modern and nicely decorated. The place was super clean on arrival, and there were cleaning products and materials available for the guests to use (useful, as I was staying for two weeks). I also received extra bedding and towels, in case I wanted to change them halfway through the stay. I particularly appreciated that the kitchen was well-appointed and had the basics one needed to cook if needed (the only thing that was missing that I would have appreciated was a toaster). And it was so great to have a washer dryer in the bathroom. That worked perfectly. Nothing the hosts could have done anything about. Be aware that the apartment is pretty dark when the lights are off, even during the day, but this is just the natural consequence of the location and the old building (very narrow streets, with other buildings right in front, and few windows). And the artificial lighting is very well-done. The other issue is the noise, again a consequence of the location. At night there are hordes of young kids drinking in that street, even right in front of the building. But they're not aggressive, so it's not a problem to arrive, even late in the evening. Surprisingly, I could not hear them very much from the bedroom, but what I could hear was the restaurant below. I suspect the bedroom is above the restaurant kitchen, and there was fairly loud clinking of china and you could hear the voices of the staff. So bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

• Fernanda Pastorelli (10/5): Excelente - O apartamento é excelente, amplo, limpo, tudo em perfeito estado. A localização é ótima, próxima do Duomo! Todas as nossas solicitações foram atendidas. Apenas faço observação sobre as escadas para quem viaja com muita bagagem e também o check in é em outro local, se tiver acompanhado deixe alguém com as malas na porta da habitação e caminhe (menos de 5 minutos) até a recepção. Com certeza voltaria a me hospedar nessa habitação! Sem comentários

Silenzioso , molto ben arredato, con tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno. Il personale della reception molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per la nostra vacanza. Non ho trovato niente di cui lamentarmi.

AC was very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with all necessary tools. Bathroom and shower larger than most euro homes. Great laundry and dishwashing.

Staff were so gorgeous, Diana was amazing and so bubbly, the map given was very helpful! Such a central location and very easy to find! The flooring could have been a little cleaner and the shower had no door so let out a lot of water, other than that was amazing!!!

In Italy I’ve come to realize the first floor is the 2nd floor. The bottom floor is ground floor. So the 2nd floor was the 3rd. Lots of steps.

• Aurore (4/5): Disappointing… - The appartment is nice and well decorated. We appreciated to have a kitchen. The surface is big enough. Close to city center and supermarket. TOO MUCH NOISE ! It has been very difficult for us to sleep : - there is a restaurant and a bar downstairs… - the restaurant staff arrived very early (08:00am), we could ear the food preparation. - the restaurant closed late (01:00 am) and they cleaned the floor with a karcher !!! - there was usually a tobacco smell in the bedroom as the building is not well insulated. We did not know from where it came since all the windows were closed (and we are non smokers!). To conclude, we were disappointed because of the noise.
