- Paul (8/5): Very bad review on the hotel and wasvery dissapointed with the dicription that booking.com had given the hotel - The hotel is great and clean really enjoyed the stay for the 3 days then it went wrong badly The staff were great The biggest problem was that the room we first got put in was right next to reception and every morning you could here the woman come in shouting instructions so if you don’t want to get up early 6am to 7am then don’t stay here We then asked to be moved to a quieter room again it was nice and clean, but every time we took a shower the whole bathroom got soaking wet and you had to get wet going to the toilet brushing your teeth or anything else So if you want to paddle when using the bathroom and please watch your balance on very slippy floors We used 4 or 5 bath towels a day ( 3 were used to soak up the water from the shower) 3 days after arriving the hotel shut and I was asked to open and close the hotel at night I found it unusual that as a guest I had been given the job of hotel manger with no staff available this was for a 4 day Tet holiday period and you only get tea and coffee free do not drink any water or anything else as it is charged for in dong when the bill was raised at the end of our stay I was asked to pay buy cash I was surprised as I do not carry that much cash in my wallet and they would not take the card that booking.com had taken all the details off me from booking my stay they then said I could pay b y bank transfer which has a charge when transferring money from one country to a another country we then settled the payment by card at another hotel and I was charged an additional 3% on the bill Booking.com why did you want my card details when the hotel could not use it and the prices they said the hotel was are not correct and it cost more then they said I was not paid for the work I did as branch manager for 4 days of unlocking and locking the hotel even when I went for a walk and believe me the I get payed per hour would exceed the cost of the invoice So to some up the stay nice clean good staff when there but the management need to be more organised and they are not ready for western people and what they expect in of a hotel standards
- Gary (8/5): A clean new hotel in Mo Lao - I had a big room with an en-suite toilet that was nearly the same size as the bedroom. The room was clean and the location was convenient for me. It’s not a dislike but you should be able to speak some Vietnamese to get by in the hotel.
